Cozy and quiet hotel”
We really liked our stay at Wisma Ary's guesthouse and continued our stay there. The room was big and had a nice rustic atmosphere. The bathroom was wonderfully designed. The staff was really helpful and nice, and the breakfast was good too. Great value for money.

Ethnic and comfortable Hotel”
this is the first time i stayed there. i was surprised that there is a ethnic hotel in the middle of the town of yogyakarta indonesia. this is a nice place for couple who wants to celebrate or having honeymoon. the features are truly comfortable. a lot of trees are there.

There's not a lot to complain about at this lovely place. Value for money for sure! Love so many things about it.. Staff where friendly and happy to fulfil any request, i had. Location ( so close to all things) Love the open area in the middle of the house, nice air circluation. Rooms are clean and comfortable with airconditioning, soft beds, good bathrooms. Low budget hotel with strategies place to stay. Room and bathroom is clean enough. Breakfast is acceptable. Not so special but very worth for low budget hotel. Near to alun-alun kidul so we can walk in 900 m only.

Beautifully designed, traditional guest house”
this is my favorite hotel in indonesia after 3 months of travel. the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; the owner is present and also very friendly; the hotel itself is beautifully designed and artfully built. coffee and tea all day, and breakfast is good and fast - even served very early on request. great place.

NICE TRADITIONAL HOTEL DESIGNED & BEAUTIFUL GARDEN”
we had a pleasant stays at Arys.. Arys has nice beautiful garden its good for eyes relax, clean bathroom & hot water very hot , traditional room designed interior and exterior, near to city, breakfast simple but sufficient, staff hotels were friendly and helpful, too many mosquitos but it was no problem because there is transparant mess nylon curtain to cover around bed ,good budget value for money,but but small park yards its just enough for 3 cars parking inside only so made we have to park my car outside at night , Arys good recommended for family visit, We'll be happy back to this hotel when visiting Jogja. OVERALL OK!

Traditional Scenery and Excellent Location”
It was a traditional Jogjakarta hotel with a very nice garden. It can only accommodate a few guests which is also good. Quiet and Peaceful. It is not too far from the some tourist spots and restaurants/coffee shops are just walking distance from the hotel. A bit difficult to communicate with some of the staff but some can understand English. Food is good. They only offer a few for breakfast though. Parking space is a bit difficult as well.

Nice relaxing garden in Yogyakarta”
Relaxing and enjoyable stay, spent long time driking aperitifs in the gazebo/garden area. Rooms are minimal but good and clean, a bit small but so it's the price. Air conditioning a bit noisy and placed just above the bed. Toilets are fancy, weird style (not my favorite) with funny color all around and a bit oldish. Good wifi connection, good breakfast, helpful staff and pleasant location

For the adventurous”
The hotel location is ideal for those seeking to explore Yogya around the Kraton. This site is actually quite some distance from the airport and other famous / popular tourist sites of Prambanan and Borobudur, approximately 30min by car. There are quite a few travel agencies in the vicinity to arrange for day trips or rent motor scooter / motor bikes. There are plenty of eateries around, roadside stalls / warongs and proper sit down restaurants, and mini market round the corner. All within 15minute walk. The hotel itself is pleasant, mainly because of its setting back from the access road and the landscaped garden as a green curtain shielding the rooms from the road. The hotel and room furnishings are warm and friendly, with generous use of wood. Room size is generous. Give extra attention when moving about in the cramped shower, especially the uneven flooring to avoid stubbing your toes. The verandah and couch provides additional space to just sit out and unwind, with nice view of the garden and sounds of running water. The air-conditioning appears to be in poor condition possibly from lack of maintenance. In any case, it may be more refreshing to just have the windows open for natural lighting and ventilation. Hotel staff are helpful :) Just be patient and courteous, as language may a barrier rather than lack of trying. It helps to confirm your request to avoid misunderstanding.

The service is not good”
Wisma Ary's, located at Suryadiningratan, next to Prawirotaman Street, not too far from Brongto hotel. Don't believe the Google maps, which it located near the Museum Benteng Vredeburg. I booked family room, which is must have 3 beds like the image , but unfortunately i got two single bed and 1 extra bed! The hotel room is too dark, spooky bathroom... I don't want to back to this hotel.

The hotel staff are quite friendly, I like the garden most because it is so natural with lots of greeneries, golden fish and you can even hear frog singing in the night. But I suffered mosquito bite badly.

Hate mosquitoes”
I like the mood of this hotel and service was good. But at night mosquitoes were so annoying that I couldn't sleep. Seriouly they bit me more than 50 times and it was so itchy. I thoght they were mosquitoes at that time but maybe they were fleas. Everything (except mosquitoes or flea what ever) was good.
