It was a right decision to stay in this place. The room isnt really big at size, but the facilities are nice and the staff are very welcome. Though I would only recommend this hotel if you were a solo traveler. Since the room isnt too big. Its kinda hard to move around and not bump into the furniture

A Gem with Affordable Price”
As I said. It's a gem. Considering that we stayed here during the post (2yrs) pandemic, the place was clean, neat and really well kept. We're expecting things bit rusty or dusty since the place was quite cheap, but that wasn't the case. We saw that the staff clean checked-out rooms quite meticulously for a small hotel (they aired out the bed after a stay). The location was great. It is nestled in kinda suburb area. Quiet place with homey neighbourhood. There's a nearby minimarket and a small restaurant that sell noodles. The hotel also had a small store for trinkets and souvenirs. The price was okay too. All in all, it was a good stay for us and would recommend this one for any future stays in Semarang.

We get connecting rooms on second floor with 1 king bed and 2 single beds. All amenities are brand new, everything works well. Just be careful with the connecting doors, if they are already open, do not close it, as it may be difficult to open again. The employees are friendly and willing to help. The breakfast we got are bulgogi, blackpepper, karaage, and rendang. All of them are delicious. We will definitely go back again if we go to Semarang. Thank you Votel Krakatau for the service.

A decent and clean 2 stars hotel with great location”
My family & I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. They gave us connecting room & it was a very pleasant stay. Everything works perfectly, the water heater, aircon, hotel elevator, even their beds were comfortable and clean. We were there for Eid Adha and the hotel was very close to Great Mosque of Central Java (5mins ride). A great location for culinary experience yet serene from the city buzz. Highly recommended!
