We stayed in a two-bedroom beachfront villa, and the experience was wonderful. The beach was beautiful and clean, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. When my daughter injured her foot late at night, she received prompt medical attention from Vinmec right at the hotel around 10 PM. A special thanks to Hoang Vu at the reception for his kindness and helpfulness. We will definitely return for a longer stay!

Nha Trang has very few Japanese tourists. It may be due to the lack of direct flights, but during my 7-day stay, I only encountered one group. While walking around the city, I was called out with "Annyeonghaseyo" several times. I had a hard time finding information before the trip due to the overwhelming lack of it, so I will record the details. <Transportation from the airport to the hotel> I used the bus from Nha Trang Airport. At the yellow-roofed counter immediately outside the airport, I communicated the name of the hotel, and they guided me to the bus. The bus fare is 100,000 dong (about 600 yen) per person. I handed cash to the driver upon getting off (cash only). I considered requesting a hotel pick-up, but it was too expensive and decided against it. This is the cheapest option. To go to Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay, I first arrived at the cable car reception. Here, I checked in. When checking in, I was asked if I wanted to go by cable car or speedboat. If I chose the cable car, they would deliver the suitcase separately. I selected the cable car because the night view was beautiful. Upon arriving at the island station, I was surprised by the large city. There are many shops, restaurants, and stalls. Judging by appearances, the prices seem to be the same everywhere. From there, I took a cart to the hotel. This time, I traveled with my family of four. My children are 12 and 14 years old. When I tried to book one room, only cottages were displayed, so I reserved two twin rooms in the hotel. They were on the same floor but somewhat apart. <Room> The power outlet type is the same as Japan, so it’s fine. The voltage is 440, so unless you have the appropriate adapter, you cannot plug it in directly, but there is a power outlet next to the washstand that supports 110V used in Japan. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in bottles. Note that there is no lotion or facial cleanser for women. The room has loungewear and beach sandals. <Meals> Breakfast is at the hotel buffet. There are two restaurants on the first floor, but both essentially have the same menu. It's delicious. For lunch, I had some inside VinWonder, or I ate instant noodles that I brought from Japan in the room. I ate too much at the breakfast buffet, so I wasn’t hungry by lunchtime. For dinner, I took a taxi to Nha Trang city. Using an app called Grab, it costs about 500 yen one way. Since I pre-registered the destination in the app, there is no need to explain it once I get in the car. <Shopping> The convenience stores on the island have the same prices, so there is no bargain feel. "WinMart" in the city is cheap and has a wide variety. Lotte Mart also has a rich selection, and I bought souvenirs there. <Security> The room key is a card type, but the reception for the breakfast buffet and cable car uses facial recognition (everyone's face is registered at check-in). <Private pool, beach> The pool is very large, and my 147 cm tall son can barely stand in it. There is also a shallow pool for children. Floaties and such are probably for rent (they were free in Phu Quoc). Chairs need to be claimed early; it's first come, first served. At the beach, there are sea activities. Flyboarding, banana boats, parasailing (for one or two people), jet skiing, etc. Our family had the kids try flyboarding. It costs 1.5 million dong (about 9,000 yen) for 15 minutes, and it's an additional 500,000 dong (about 3,000 yen) if you want a video. At first, I said I didn’t want it, but after seeing the footage, I ended up purchasing it. They film with a drone, so you get a close-up shot. My husband and I tried parasailing (130,000 dong, about 8,000 yen). We also requested a video. It was truly a great experience that we wouldn't easily have again. <Sightseeing> On the last day, I went to Long Son Pagoda and Nha Trang Cathedral. Both are about a 30-minute walk. Entry is free. It seems the cathedral can only be visited after 2 PM. You cannot enter the church during mass. The stained glass is beautiful, so I wanted to go inside, but since it was during mass, I couldn’t see it. Vinpearl's check-in procedure: Check your passport at the main island (the dock), leave your luggage, register your face photo, and then take a boat (or cable car) to the island for check-in. First incident - During the check-in process, the staff seemed not to recognize our luggage at all (it wasn't due to a lack of sincerity; it was just a hectic situation with so many people and different staff members for each step, so it was understandable if they couldn't keep track). We asked how to proceed with our luggage multiple times, even using a translation app to inquire. - All the staff responded kindly, telling us not to worry and stated that the staff who completed the check-in said they would take care of our luggage, explaining to take a boat at the entrance around 2 PM. - We cheerfully took the boat at the stated time but ended up on a boat headed for a different island (we thought this was our mistake). We waited for the next boat, went back to the main island, and then waited to board the boat to Nha Trang Bay. - Upon entering the Nha Trang Bay building and checking in, the reception staff asked us for luggage tags. - Realizing something was wrong with the mention of tags that we had no idea existed, the staff said they would check and asked us to wait in our room. Anxious, we described the location and color of our luggage before going into the room. - As we waited in the room, over an hour passed without any phone call. Without our luggage, we couldn't shower, change clothes, or charge anything; we just sat there blankly. - Like everyone else, we had purchased tickets for the water park and amusement park (2-day all-day access), but by now it was nearing 5 PM (the closing time for VinWonders is relatively early). - This is when I started to get angry; while it seemed understandable to miss the boat, it was undeniable that we had already lost time because of that, and despite checking on our luggage multiple times, I felt strongly that no one cared from the moment we handed it over until it went missing. The boats run every 20-30 minutes, so after check-in, there must have been at least one or two boats going back and forth. - I went down to the reception with no information about our luggage, protested why no one was giving explanations, and met a few staff members and a manager, but the manager just said they would check and then disappeared. Second incident: Duty Manager's attitude - The poor staff kept apologizing until I faced the Duty Manager with a name tag. - The Duty Manager told me to calm down and asked what I wanted (????), and we said we needed time to confirm the situation as we knew nothing (while the first part was frustrating, the second was fair). - In conclusion, our luggage arrived hurriedly only after I protested downstairs, and we couldn't use VinWonders that day, so we just spent our time at the beach and pool. - That evening, the Duty Manager came to our room to talk again, during which he said, "Think positively that you didn't lose your luggage with so many people coming and going," and, "You didn't mention your luggage to us." - I felt very upset and unfair and questioned how they could judge whether we mentioned it or not based on CCTV footage? (We felt so wronged that after the conversation, we discussed how we must have pointed at the luggage while talking to the staff, laughing about it...) - I continued to express my frustration, and they eventually offered to refund the cost of the room upgrade. - They kindly smiled and said I could come to the reception anytime to receive it... I thought, "I didn't want this, but since they're offering compensation, let's wrap this up," but later realized I ended up in an embarrassing situation of needing to go to the reception to ask for the refunded money. Third incident regarding compensation response: - The next day, when we went to the water park, I left my phone and money behind and took only the room key, so I was hungry and wanted to eat. I thought, "Since it's too troublesome to go back to my room... should I stop by the reception and collect the cash?" So, I swallowed my pride and went to the reception. - The reception staff said they wouldn’t give cash back but would set it up so we could use it anywhere at Vinpearl Resort and instructed us to mention our room number when buying something. - Being simple-minded, we said, "Oh, that's great... okay." After eating at Lagoon (the resort beach restaurant) and with some hesitation, we mentioned our room number. - As expected, the Lagoon staff said with a serious face that they needed payment, and we were very flustered and awkwardly said in broken English, "Please call the reception..."

“I like playing in the enclosure.”
I stayed with three friends in a 3-bedroom villa with a pool. Room condition: The rooms were spacious and there was a living room, making it comfortable to stay! It was clean, and the bedding was neat and nice. The water pressure was good, and there were no issues with drainage. The air conditioner on the second floor broke down in the middle of our stay, but when we mentioned it, they quickly came to repair it. Pool: The pool in the villa wasn't very large, but it was suitable for four women to just play in! We went to the main pool for swimming. Activities: We also got tickets for VinWonders, so one day we went to the amusement park, and another day to the water park. We didn't have the stamina to go to the zoo for two days, but when we go next time, we plan to get a three-day pass to enjoy everything a bit more comfortably. Meals: The last time we went, the all-inclusive option became a bit tiresome, so this time we included only breakfast and either bought something simple at VinWonders or went to eat at the harbor. The food at the resort's restaurants was average. Some things were delicious, while others did not suit our taste, but it wasn't bad, just so-so! However, there are a few good restaurants at the harbor. Staff: Almost all the staff at the resort were friendly and immediately attended to our requests. The resort itself was decent, but especially because of the staff's attitude, it made us feel good! Accessibility: Getting from the accommodation to downtown Nha Trang was a bit cumbersome (buggy - cable car or boat - taxi). During check-in and check-out, we had to take the speedboat due to our luggage, and although boats leave every 30 minutes, going to the dock and waiting and boarding can be a bit annoying. When just heading out, I definitely recommend taking the cable car. You don't have to wait, it's not too slow, and there's no sea breeze coming in, making it more comfortable. I considered calling a Grab at the land dock, but there were many taxis waiting, so we just hopped on one. There were only light blue taxis that seemed to be affiliated with a specific company, all in good condition, and they operate on a meter basis, so you can ride comfortably. Overall, it is a satisfying resort for the price. This was my return visit, and it's great for friends or families. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit cumbersome to get to the city, and if you're only staying inside, it might become boring, so choose wisely based on who you’re going with!
