The Nicest Resort In Tabanan Area”
This resort has the nicest restaurant setting surrounded by lilly ponds and overlooking the pool area.The villa deluxe rooms are really big and have the nicest semi outdoor bathroom with a big bath right in the middle of a fish pond area.Sometimes at dinner there might only be 1 other couple so you get looked after really well and the selection of food and the price is great.The breakfast (all included) is some of the best I have had in Bali.There is a nice safe walk that starts right at this resort and takes you south through all the rice fields and you can even walk all the way to Taman Ayun temple in Mengwi if you are up to it.The local villages are just beautiful and so safe to walk around and soak up all the Bali hospitality.If you are there for one of the many Balinese festivals it is not hard to get invited and take part.All up a fantastic place to stay and immerse your self with the Balinese lifestyle

Fantastic Setting In The Rice Fields”
These villas are beautiful and are set right near the rice fields so you can interact with the local Balinese.All of the staff are so nice and friendly and the on site restaurant serves great food.Go for the deluxe villas with the big outdoor bath surrounded by a pond with gold fish.There is a nice walkway around the edge of the rice fields where you can walk for many kilometers(without getting lost) and there are also numerous lane ways nearby the villas where you can meet the local people who will invite you for a coffee or sometimes even breakfast.The on site swimming pool is also a great refresher.The temperature at the villas is not so humid like the coastal parts of Bali and the early mornings are fantastic for walking around.

I had a couple of nights at this Villa complex just to get away from the chaos of the tourist area. The villas are in the middle of a non-tourist village so there's not a lot of activities in close proximity, aside from walking or bicycle rides. The hotel provided me with a very basic 'mud map' of the local village to go on a solo walk. I did manage to get a bit lost but that was part of the fun and I did make my way back without any trouble. They do offer guided walks which might be a better option, lol. The villa was gorgeous. A huge comfy four poster bed, seating area in the corner and a stunning semi outdoor bathroom, complete with my own turtle and fish pond. There are no restaurants around, aside from a few basic warungs in the village, so meals are at the hotel. They are reasonably priced and lovely food though, so that's not an issue.

Fantastic Villas In the Rice Fields”
What a fantastic place to stay-right in the middle of the rice fields and from your room you can see all the rice field activity and locals flying their kites later in the day, just across the canal from your room.The staff do a brilliant job and are so happy and engaging.One day I came back from a walk in the rice fields and one of the room cleaning staff climbed a coconut tree and I was offered fresh coconut milk.The room is so comfortable to sleep in and they serve up some nice food at the restaurant which is in a great setting overlooking lilly ponds and the hotel pool.This is such a nice place to engage in all local Balinese cultures and all the staff are so friendly and helpful.The outdoor bath room of the villa has a huge bath set right in the middle of a pond complete with fish etc.You can walk for miles through the surrounding rice fields or side roads through local villagers etc. and all the locals are so friendly.This is my 4th visit now and I will be back

Fantastic Friendly Villas”
Beautiful villas with amazing views overlooking the rice fields.The restaurant is really nice and set amongst the ponds with the swimming pool close by.The food is great and a good menu that caters for both Western and Balinese.The room is nice with good strong air con and the outdoor bath and shower are a nice touch.Mini bar and room safe etc.Plenty of water pressure in the shower.The local rice fields have a good concrete walking path so no need to hire a guide.Just get out and walk and talk with the local Balinese as you will find them so friendly. I found a nice air conditioned mini mart not more than a 1km walk and this has most food items.A great stay to meet the "real" Balinese and I will be making another booking shortly.The staff are also very friendly and treat you well.

lovely people, lovely place, lovely hotel”
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every day. The villa was in a garden with a gorgeous pool and three ducks swimming about in the lotus pond. The pool overlooks a vast expanse of paddy fields and is separated from the compound by a fast flowing irrigation canal. The staff were lovely and really helpful, and discreet at the same time. They went out of their way to make us discover the area. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Lovely quiet location”
We were disappointed on arrival to find that the restaurant was being renovated, our meals were served to us at our villa. The hotel itself was lovely with very friendly staff. Our only fault, was there was not much within walking distance eg; other dining options, and then you had a busy road with no paths. The surrounding countryside and local village were very attractive though.

Traditional Balinese Villas”
This hotel is such a relaxing place to stay at and you can explore the many rice fields just a few meters away from your villas.It is so well run by Ivan and his team it does feel like coming home.The included breakfast is really nice and the selection for dinner is great with really good low prices.All of the staff are so friendly and always stop by for a chat.There are also many organised tours they run to local nearby villages and beyond but if you just want to explore the rice fields and the local village by yourself it is so safe and easy to walk around and find your way.

The Worst Hotel I've Been To- avoid at all costs. No one will help you (maybe if you're white).”
1. The custodians double as their front desk staff at night resulting in incompetence. I asked for help regarding some matter I had previously requested but instead, I was told by this guy "that I should book there first". His face changed when I showed him the key- perhaps if I was white, they'd be fawning over me. 2. For the first time in my travels, I had a staff member (the same guy) tried to enter my room while I was still inside. This resulted in a broken door which they refused to fix nor provide me a new room with- as they had no manager nor supervisor, another guy seemingly in charge told that this was ok as there was a bar on the door anyway. 3. Every time I wanted to go out, I had to have someone unlock my door. I wanted to go out and eat at their restaurant and I called the front desk to fix my door but no one came. Instead, the receptionist told me I should have room service instead. 4. They advertise airport transfers but they don't have any. Avoid at all costs.

Prachtig verblijf”
Echt een prachtige accommodatie met super personeel. Het ligt zeer rustig gelegen, weg van de drukte. Dat betekent ook dat er weinig toeristen in de omgeving te vinden zijn en dus ook geen toeristische excursie winkels te bekennen zijn. Je vindt er ook heel weinig restaurants, maar je kunt altijd in het luxe restaurant van het Villa Taman Di Blayu gaan eten. Het eten is heel lekker en je zit lekker rustig te eten met uitzicht op rijstvelden. Je komt hier echt voor je rust. Het zwembad is ontzettend mooi en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. De kamers zijn in orde en er is een mogelijkheid om fietsen of scooters te huren. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug!
