Amidst scenic green landscapes, this traditional Javanese property offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and thatched roofs. Charming Cottages”

The property is owned by a French-Indonesian couple who were very friendly. They really made an effort to make us feel welcome. The cottage was cute and you can really hear the sounds of the woods at night. The property was located in the outer ring of Magelang, Central Java, surrounded by paddyfields and farms. It was isolated and lovely. It has a huge pool. At night, you can see the stars so clearly.

Simply magical slice of paradise”

This is truly a slice of heaven. You feel like family. The service is probably the best I've ever received. The food is incredible. Great breakfasts and amazing local tea. The staff are warm and generous and go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. They are sweet, kind, caring, and thoughtful. The surroundings are breathtaking. Fun extras like bananas to your room or fresh daily drinks. They arranged all of our transportation and guides for excursions in the area. The pool is beautiful. The grounds are stunning. I have nothing but absolute love for Villa Sumbig Indah!

Disappointing, over priced.”

Family room is only suitable for 2 adults, not 4 as cited in sales material. Old TV with very few TV channels and poor signal. As many menu items were not available as were available. Beer was served not cold enough until third time of asking. Breakfast tea is lukewarm, not hot. Hot milk served with breakfast coffee curdled in the coffee when mixed. Fresh orange and pineapple juice were tasteless. Chef was unavailable. Patio area tiles are dangerous in/after rainfall. One of our party slipped and badly hurt her arm. Staff are pleasant but the place needs some serious management attention.

Value for money, good view(mountain view and wonderful landscape); clean swimming pool. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by the mice when we were sleeping at night; the parking area is too small.

A prtfect hide away”

Villa Sumbin Indah is indeed a perfect hide away. Not too crowdy, very nice staff. Good service. Nice restaurant (french style). And although the weather was not nice, the ambiance was OK. Just one important minus point was he shower, that only produces gold water during our stay. this MUST be better a next time.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sumbing Indah. We brought our two dogs, and they were very much welcome to this place (our important consideration because not a lot of hotels/accommodations allow dogs). Room was huge and homey. Staff were all very nice. Overall it exceeded our expectations.

Heerlijke tijd gehad, prachtige plek! ”

Genoten van onze tijd bij villa sumbing. Voelden ons erg welkom en kregen meerdere bedankjes (gebakken banaan, banaantjes, koekjes). Heel fijn groot zwembad. Prachtig uitzicht op de vulkaan en rijstvelden, waar je ook een leuke hike kan doen. Grote ruime villa (2 slaapkamers). Bij de villa zit ook een Frans restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Zeker een aanrader als je niet in de drukke stad wilt verblijven!

オーナーの方が優しくて感動しました。 奥にある庭付きのヴィラを利用させて頂きましたが広くて全て揃っており家にいる気分で利用させて頂きました。 周りの田舎の景色も最高です。 都会では味わえません。 唯一の問題はシャワーのお湯が不安定で大変でした。 是非次も利用したいと思います。
