Things I like
24/7 friendly staff, lots of comfortable seating indoors & on multiple deck areas, surf breaking 20m away. Beach restaurant next door 30 second walk. Beautiful garden with huge bracts of orchids, pond with big goldfish & turtles. View onto rice paddy with a Bali cow keeping the farmer company. Chickens everywhere. Short taxi ride to Candidasa to the lovely Lotus Seaview restaurant. Snorkeling boat leaves from doorstep.
Things I don’t like
Downstairs there was an international power adapter but none upstairs, bring one with you. Sea often too rough to swim here. Can't walk main road as no footpath (but there's a little shop just along & up a lane from the beach).

What a fantastic villa! It was incredibly relaxing and the staff are amazing.”

Things I like
Fantastic and peaceful location - the sound of the waves is very relaxing. Very friendly staff but lots of privacy. Very comfortable and clean villa, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The pool is fantastic, with great, comfortable loungers - perfect for a in-house massage. Breakfast each day was delicious and plentiful, and ability to arrange in-house lunch and dinner was also really convenient. It’s also an easy walk along the beach to local warung that served delicious food, or many restaurants in Mendira and Candidasa offered free pick-up and drop-off, which was really convenient. Great location and staff - would definitely stay here again!

Things I like
The villa was well set-up and very comfortable. All indoor and outdoor spaces were lovely and there was plenty of room and the villa was well maintained. The pool and surrounding gardens were fabulous and the staff were gentle, lovely people who prepared a delicious breakfast and were always happy to help. Thank you!
Things I don’t like
Nothing to do with the property, but walkability near the villa is poor, but that is not unusual in Bali.

Everything for a memorable family stay”

Things I like
Villa Sanika completely surprised us. It is a litterely hidden gem and overwhelmed us with the impressive sounds of the ocean. The staff (alway friendly, always but always smiling, wow!) was extremely friendly and beyond expectations, they cooked us fresh meals such as garlic gamba's, sateh ajam and chicken legs. The lunch option for us was a local warung with tasty Western and Indonesian options. Also: the laundry service, the service of local drivers to do some groceries, visiting the ATM and go to nearby sight-seeings is very helpful. Furthermore the swimming pool, wifi and even last-minute shopping service (we forget to buy our rosé) was like... wow.
Things I don’t like
Nothing could have be better. We were aware that the beach was not really meant for sunbathing and that the ocean was too tough to swim during our visit. And: it is good to realize that the rooms are (very cleverly) not connected within the living room, so with little children you might want to use a baby monitor. Villa Sanika is well equipped to get away from everything, to enjoy and relax.

Great villa, but quite remote”

Things I like
Comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Good breakfast served each morning The staff were excellent. Pool is large and clean. There is a outdoor covered patio upstairs with a view out to sea, great spot for drinks in the late afternoon
Things I don’t like
We only had one negative. The location, you are quite a long way from cafés restaurants and shops, it’s not practical to walk into town. The walk is only 30 minutes, but some is on a busy road with no footpath. Or you can do most of it on back lanes, but there are lots of dogs roaming, not all of them friendly.
