Comfortable stay”
We were at Vila Goesa from Nov 26th to Dec 2nd 2016. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely love to stay here again. As this is a three star property hence we did not have too much expectations, plus we read some reviews about this property on net (trip adviser) and then took some precautionary measures on our own. Feedback based on our experience is as follow: Pros: -This resort is very well located with private access to beach (walking distance from baga beach). You can also walk to Tito's lane from Vila Goesa. -Friendly staff -Nicely maintained garden -Nice spacious room. They have different type of rooms. Ours was room number 512. This is a standard (split) AC room. I could see some other rooms also had window AC. Bed and toilet were clean and matching standards of a 3 star property. -Excellent room service. We ordered morning tea on all 6 days which was served within 10 mins time. We also ordered a snack on one of the evenings which was served in 20 mins. -They have an external shower and tap to cleanup when you return from the beach -Room is cleaned daily. Just leave the "Make my Room" card on door when you leave during the day. -Airport transfer was arranged for us on request. We used it only for reaching the resort from airport as the cab arranged by hotel was slightly expensive than prepaid cabs available at airport. While returning we made our own arrangement Neutral: -Pool is good but is cleaned manually daily. It is clean to at least enjoy a swim but not as clean as some other properties where I have stayed in the past. Maybe they don't have an automated filtration plant or it doesn't work. -Jacuzzi is not operational -They have a setup for pool bar but it is not operational/constructed completely. -Hotel is slightly off route from the main road with under construction connecting road. Good Stay”
It was a good stay with Vila Goesa but poor network connectivity there and Wifi is also only near reception, and we have recommended for early chekin but when i chekedin they denied for that because they dont have any information from Agoda , in such case they schould call to customer and ask for availability and also Agoda should provide proper information other then i was good stay , very calm , peaceful beach resort connectivity was awesome , breakfast too.

best location in the middle of all action”
Location and property are the USPs here for sure. My rating is solely for that. Its exactly in between Baga n Calangute, with a direct access to the beach from the resort. The property is nicely done and rooms are well maintained. No complaints whatsoever. Special mention of the services staff (house keeping, maintenance and security guards), who were extremely hospitable. Definitely a good choice for a perfect Goa vacation, directly in the meddle of all action. The receptionists (both of them) were hopeless. The girl kept me waiting infront of her for about 15 mins, while she went on chatting to someone on the phone in her local language. They got no clue of anything. Dont bother asking them for any tips rather speak to the housekeeping boys. Dont waste time trying the restaurant. Imagine a beach resort restaurant telling you that they dont have seafood!!! If you are breakfast types, you may use the room service, as the resort dont offer breakfast option in the room package.

Excellent place”
If you are looking for a good place to stay right at the beach. This is it. Location is very good, just a nice walk to baga beach and hotel is very comfortable and welcoming both for couples and family. Crowd is good too. Do not expect a very lavish room its basic but value for money. I would surely recommend this place to my friends and family. Happy Stay.

Expensive! The Location was really good as the accessibility to Candolim, Calangute & Baga beaches was just walkable. The rooms & hotel look quite old but were neat enough and the house keeping was good. The Breakfast was tasteful but with a thin menu. Overall my experience was Good

The staff was courteous and polite to help and talk to. The rooms were very clean and had all the required appliances in proper working condition. The breakfast was good. The location was next to the beach and the market. Definitely, one of the hotels I would revisit again.

Like I said just one tiny complaint just room but dusty. Staff really nice it takes 3mins to get to the beach. The people who own the shops can be a problem but that's not the hotels fault. Would definitely use again

With a short walk to the beach and complimentary breakfast we really enjoyed our stay here. ”
Staff are friendly, we're able to exchange US dollars and cleaned the room every second day. There is a clean pool but with the beach so close we didn't need it. Plenty of drivers around willing to take us around for a reasonable price.

Stayed during 7th Oct 2016 to 11th Oct 2016 Its in a very good location. Decent place. Room Service is ok. Complimentary breakfast can be improved. Good Buffet lunch. Beach side entry to the resort is locked after 9:00pm

Never Again”
We had very high expectations from this hotel based on the photographs given online and other reviews available but we were extremely disappointed due to following reasons: 1. Our rooms were not at all clean. Rooms were stinking badly, washrooms were extremely dirty, fridge was leaking , there were multiple lizards in room. We spent initial 1-2 hours in getting the room into livable condition and for this we had to struggle with housekeeping guys. 2. None of the TV channels was clear. In today's age of DTH and HD we were shocked to see such quality of channels. Hardly a few of the channels were in a state that they can be watched without straining yourself. 3.Breakfast in this hotel is a joke. You can only get toasted breads, jam/butter, 1 small glass of juice and 1 tea/coffee. if you want anything else that has to be paid separately. 4. Rates in the restaurant are exorbitant. Trust me there rates are equal/higher to fine restaurants like Cape Town Cafe/ Tito Courtyard and quality is pathetic. 5.Due to excessive greenery there are countless mosquitos etc in the entire resort. 6. Hotel just has space for parking 6 cars and that too one behind the other in 3 lanes of 2 cars each. You will have to leave your keys at the reception if your car is parked at front. 7. There is no access to private beach as they claim on the website. In reality they have a private access to the Baga/Calangute beach from the resort but it is not a private beach. 8. Room Service is extremely slow and close after 10:30. 9. Reception staff was very rude. I had to check out at 5 AM so on the previous night I asked them to keep my bills ready to which I got a very rude reply that they are closed now and will open at 8 AM. I had to struggle to get this done. 0nly two positive point in favor of this hotel are: 1. This is close to beach. 2. There are many good restaurants nearby. Hope these details will be helpful for somebody before making a booking at this hotel !

Good location and good service”
the hotel is located very near to the beech, and it has a private walkaway for the beech which opens up to 20m away from the beech. hotel ambiance is nice, but food is very costly there. rest of the amenities are also well maintained like swimming pool the hotel has two section, one where rooms and cottages are there and other is the private walkaway. the walkaway opens on the beech and it is situated in between baaga beech and calungute beech, if you want to go to any of the two beeches, then both are at the same distance from the this hotel, and you can just walk on the beech to reach any of the two

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Our stay was good, The hotel facilities are all genuinely 3 star standard, Room service is quick. the only thing iam not happy with the hotel is the complimentary breakfast, It has only tea, juice( Real juice in one small taquila glass and which is warm :(... ) and toast. I stayed there for 5 days and no one can eat simple same breafast continiously for 5 days, they really have to improve on this. I had my breakfast mostly in other restaurants.

Hi ,,,, If you have seen this resort 9 years back and if you see it now you will be dissapointed. But still i love the charm of this resort but can someone improve it please as the old one.Beautiful location , Good Resort space but just simple facility , it can be sooooo much better...... I heard the sons of the Original owner are running it now...... but for a simple holiday and good location please do visit this resort.

If you are booking room for comfort, don't go for Standard one but Deluxe one only. Standard one are stinky with no luxury. Breakfast is ok, not too good. Surroundings are fine. But location, it is awesome with good crowd and nearby amenities. Take Activa and roam all around the beaches and forts. Have a good food at Fat fish & Brittos, you would love it.
