Beautiful, clean and well-priced”
hotels in hue are generally less expensive than many areas of vietnam. hence for the same price as a budget hotel at night we got the victory with its large rooms and beautiful decor. we had some initial problems as the superior room was depicted online as having two double beds. it turned out it only had 2 singles. after some heated negotiations, the hotel management did fulfill their advertising obligations by providing us with a family room, although we agreed to pay for breakfast for the additional people. after the initial hiccup, it was smoothe sailing for the rest of the stay (1 night only, unfortunately). comfortable beds, clean and dry! bathrooms (ie where water doesn't flood the entire floor!). rooms had airconditioning but no heatint, so it was cold overnight. staff assures us that it is unusual for hue to be so cold. breakfast was a limited western style buffet with tropical fruits. the hotel is a litte further out but given that there are no hotels on the citadel side of the river and you had to take a taxi in anyway, it didn't really bother us. the plus is that it was very quiet. free internet via the two lobby computers or wireless throughout with good signals. we would stay here again on our next visit to hue. the victory was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at in vietnam.

Adorable”
Among all the hotel I've booked on Agoda, Victory Hotel is the best and really valuable to stay. We haven't hot water for a while but they fixed the problem ASAP. They even found that my open tour bus got the wrong date and help us to change it right with the Sinh Tourist. If I go to Hue a second time, it will be my first choice! p.s. The breakfast was delicious with a cup of milk, a noodle soup with beef, a raisin cake and very fresh mango.

One of our best room so far in Vietnam,”
As we are traveling with our 9 months baby, the choice of hotels is a bit of a puzzle sometimes. But this hotel, though a bit of center was a lucky choice for us. They picked us up at the train station and paid for the cab just to start. The room was gigantic compared to many hotels so far. And being within walking distance to Big C (super store). It was very helpful for getting fruits and special needs items for our kid. As for the neighborhood, we slept so well we almost missed breakfast one morning. Should you like to walk anyway (we went everywhere by foot but to see the citadel, but came back with the stroller) everything is not that far in Hue. And the hotel staff, they were very helpful at proposing things to do, or restaurants that suited our needs and tastes. And they just took care of our little one while we had breakfast. Though it's very common since we are in Vietnam, Vietnamese are amazing with our kid so far...!!! And the room was large enough to improvise a playing ground for our baby on the floor.

Very nice-good value!”
Vey nice hotel-pretty knew, good value for money. Nice staff. A bit further from the city center which in our case was an advantage. It might be a bit difficult to find it once you are out –walking around the city center but you can manage after 1-2 days. You can rent a bike or a scooter and enjoy very nice city of Hue which was my favorite one in whole Vietnam!

Victory Hotel”
We got a free upgrade to a suite, probably because we were alone in the hotel at this moment. The hotel also allowed us to check out 2 hours later free of charge. The staff was very attentive. They did not speak nor understand English well at all times. However after some more efforts this could be overcome. The hotel is a bit on the outskirts but Hue is not a too big city, almost everything is within a half of an hour of walking. Besides taxis are cheap and abundant. Due to bad communication skills we had to order Hue tours and our bus ticket at another hotel.

Good place to stay”
I don't know what the others think. But I think this place is really good. I will come back one day. First, the location is nearest the city and the airport too, the hotel likes in the middle :))) the price from the airport to the hotel is 200,000 đ and takes about 25 mins. Second, it quite quiet. I stayed at the back of the hotel and I don't hear any sound from the bar club like the others said. Third, the bed is really comfortable tho I'm a hard sleeper, and the things I like best is the hotel got Shampoo, Body wash, Toothbrush, Toothpaste bought from the supermarket like Sunsilk, Goat's Milk body wash, P/s,.. They did this on purpose to save environment and save up 👍 ( I forgot to take a picture of this, this really saving my money 😝) By the way, because I didn't have breakfast here so I don't know how it is.

Good value for money hotel in Hue”
Good value for money hotel in Hue. Clean and spacious rooms, free wifi, free bikes (hotel is on the outskirts of old Hue and you'll need 10-15mins bike ride to get to the old citadel). Breakfast could be improved (couldn't finish my scrambled eggs) but for the price I don't complain too much. We rent a motorbike from them ($10 for automatic scooter), slightly more expensive than in town but the convenience of having it at your doorsteps fully covers for the difference.

Good Hotel, but too far from centre”
the staff were extremely helpful. wifi worked best in the lobby, and everytime i used the computer, the staff would put the fan on for me and bring me a glass of iced water. they arranged a tour in hue for me and could not do more to help. the only disadvantage was that the hotel was quite a way from town, and there were no restaurants nearby.

A Fantastic Stay in Victory Hotel”
I booked a standard room but was offered a suite with no extra charge. The suite is beautiful and spacious, a big bed, equipped with computer and free access, bathroom with a luxurious sit-in bathtub, etc. Fantastic breakfast, western and asian, on the top floor with roof terrace, nice ambient and a beautiful view of the surrounding. Avoid the trishaw. The offered tour to the citadel, price negotiable per hour, was worthless, you can do it on your own. Do not let them wait for you during your visit to the Forbidden City, you have to pay for the elapsed time.

Great Hotel!!!”
We had a great time at this hotel, they upgraded us to a suite and presented us with a basket of flowers when we checked in as it was our honeymoon. The hotel is located a couple of k's from the citadel, but we walked there in about 20 minutes and there were always plenty of taxis if you needed them. The upside of the location is that there was no traffic noise interrupting your sleep! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious but only two of the options on the menu were available.

victory hotel is quite normal, its a very small hotel like the family kind. not much activity, the internet is good very fast. its located at one corner of the road and very quiet, not advisable to go out too late l think. not too near the town area so need transport to move around. overall its ok no complaint as l only stayed for one day.

Good Value”
My sister and I had a nice stay at Victory. The staff was quite pleasant. We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in early. They also helped us book a bus to Hoi An. They offered us a couple of tours in town, but were not overly pushy. The rooms were clean, but smelled a tad musty. The shower was hot. The free breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate (coffee, tea, fruit, banana pancakes, eggs, toast). Overall a good value.

nice hotel, with friendly staff and excellent rooms. breakfast was a-la-carte, nice service. main problem is the location of the hotel, quite far to walk to center. you need a taxi (25.000vnd/ trip) or rent a (motor) bike to go around. for price seekers, certainly a recommendation to stay there some days
