Loved and enjoyed my whole stay at Tropicana. Check in was super easy I even had the chance to do any early check in at 1pm. Prices couldn’t be any better even on a 4th of July weekend.Located right on the Strip. Love the fact that pools were open and even had music to enjoy and dance too.

The a/c wasn’t working, they dispatched an engineer and he fixed it quickly and he was very attentive and apologetic, he fixed the issue (needed new batteries) and put in a new filter.

Clean but dated”
Good bed and clean. Everything the same as 15 years ago -needs updating. Long walk to room. Close to airport was good but noisy. It served our needs as we were just overnighting and getting a flight connection the next morning. $20 taxi each way.

Staycation with the kids”
Great location and prompt staff the no deposit thing was an added bonus that we will definatly take advantage of in the future. Id give it an overall good review. My issue with the staff was their rude demeanor. we waited almost a half an hour to check our bags because there was no bell staff only a doorman. Also when we checked in there was no bell staff so we had to carry our luggage and wernt provided a luggage cart to use. My wife left her phone in the room on accident. when we called the hotel and spoke with security they confirmed that yes they had her phone. when we arrived to pick up the phone they had lost it and had no answer for us. sent us away without our device and no answer as to when we can pick it up. then the staff was rude to my daughter and her friend when they were in the gift shop trying to shop without me, i was dealing with the doorman. then because my Id was in the room the security pretty much asked me to leave. overall id give the visit a 6.5 out of 10.

They still charged the resort fee of close to $50.00 per day ! Can not use some of the normal activities but still charged for them. The only food offerings was pick up at the window .Tater tots, two eggs ,two bacon ,two sausages cost $14.00 plus tip ? The issue however is the resort fee. Why should one person staying in one room be charged the same as the next room with more than one person ? There are nice places to stay in Vegas with no resort fee. Just google no resort fee hotels /casinos Las Vegas/. Try 4 Queens as well as some others.

Dirty rooms”
My room was dirty. The furniture has unknown stains on it that looks like it's been there for a while. The sheets and pillow case has stains on it as well. Even after getting different room it was the same situation. I would not recommend this place nor would I be returning the next time I visit Vegas.

Bad experience ”
Upon arrival they made it seem like we got a deal on a room but they gave us a room on the first floor with a “balcony” which overlooked dirt & a white gate. The non smoking room smelled like cigarettes so we tried to air the room out by opening the window but our neighbors were smoking on their patio so we tried to put the air on which didn’t work so when we called to complain about everything they said “we can move you to a different room where the air may work a little better but no guarantees” we didn’t move because we had so much stuff. Then my husband was harassed by the staff, they kept following him asking his room number. This is an overpriced MOTEL. I’d never stay here again!

Perfect for our needs”
My family was coming West, mainly to visit the Grand Canyon and other National Parks. We flew through Las Vegas and decided to stay a couple of nights since we had never been. We are wanted a hotel/casino on the strip so we could get the full experience and the Tropicana provided it. The hotel is clean, well located in the middle of the Strip, and fairly affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Downsides are that they don’t keep hot tubs open even when weather would have allowed it. Also the walk from lobby to rooms is quite far - not just through the Casino, which we knew to expect bit than another 5 minutes to get to the elevators. We are not into gambling and didn’t see the shows so can’t comment on those, although Purple Reign is very reasonably priced. Self-Parking is free but also a long walk and limited spaces. Overall, just what we were looking for to start our family vacation right.

Our stay at Tropicana was very good. We stayed for 2 nights, which coincidentally was the Nascar weekend '15. We were in Vegas to celebrate my 30th birthday & were given a free upgrade to a corner junior suite. We stayed in room 1050, which was clean & nice. The hotel came in above our expectations & we got this really cheap, considering it was a weekend. Had a good buffet brunch at the Beach Cafe & sat outside on the deck, which was great. That was $18 each, which is very cheap for Las Vegas these days. Good stay!

the tropicana hotel located at the begining of the strip, oposite of mgm, you can walk along the strip from starting, we like it. they have a big room with nice decoration. facility is worn out. if staying at the special rate, that will be reasonable in las vegas area.luckly, we had the special room rate in our staying.

had a wonderful time staying at the newly remodelled tropicana hotel and casino in las vegas. the room was clean, nice and fresh, almost like staying in a new hotel. the casino was also great.location was opposite of mgm casino, walk down there so many thing to see around. it was recommended hotel after all. will we back to hotel if we visit vegas.

Great Improvements, but terrible security guards”
we stayed for a 3-Day weekend and chose Tropicana for the location, price, and pool. all 3 did not disappoint. although at the tail end of the strip, its spitting distance from the airport and for us a great location for walking around. the Luxor shuttle is just across the street and NYNY too for the Zumanity show. pool was really nice, although i was disappointed by the new Nikki Beach venue. small, loud, and pretentious. i guess with the right party happening it could be fun. hotel pool is spacious and comfortable. plus you don't have to be a guest to be there so you get a good flavor of locals too. the room was really nice. nothing special, but clean and spacious. no refrigerator sucks a little. and bring water cus they do not provide and the tap water is so so. Nikki Beach cafe was really yummy. gambling seemed good, even though i don't partake. my gf and i fell asleep on a couch in a remote part of the hotel as we had an hour or 2 to kill before our monday afternoon flight and a security guard harassed us for sleeping in a public place. i was like, look outside and see all those people asleep around the pool? ummm isn't that a public place? classic security guard response: "move along". anyway, the Trop is a quality stay for the price. you get a Vegas vibe without paying the price.

Refreshingly Bright Las Vegas Retreat”
My husband and I chose to stay at the Tropicana while meeting up with friends. Having stayed at other hotels in Vegas before, I was happy with the refreshing and bright atmosphere -atypical for Vegas. The hotel is not huge and cavernous but instead has all the amenities while still being easy to navigate and within a few steps of the strip.

Pleasantly surprised stayed in Vegas many times and in great hotels Tropicana never looked appealing to me however what a great hotel highly recommended will stay again great value for money and a fantastic staff. Perfect location on the strip, great restaurant and bars woulod love to visit in summer as the pool area looked fantastic.
