"This place is brand new, beautifully put together, super clean, and conveniently situated between the Tuan Chau Ferry and downtown Bai Chay - which makes it the perfect launch point for a trip to Cat Ba or a stay in Ha Long. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful when it comes to recommending bookings or giving general information on the area. The showers are large compared to a lot of others I’ve encountered at various other hostels in Southeast Asia and the water pressure and hot water are both exemplary. Each hostel bed comes with the standard charging port as well as a small fan affixed above your head - and the aircon is in perfect condition in case that’s not enough to keep you cool at night. Breakfast in the morning is made ready to order and is a very solid portion - two eggs and three pieces of toast served with a local jam. The downstairs lobby serves as a hangout space and bar as well, and has both a foosball table and magnetic dartboard as well as a TV with which to entertain yourself should you decide to stay in. All in all, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in my two plus months of traveling - I will definitely be staying here again when I make it back to the area!"

"The front desk staff are very friendly, happy and always help out when they can. Good breakfast in the morning which is paid for when you stay and even if you go down later out with their breakfast time they still feed you with no bother. The room, beds and bathroom were all very clean and had hot water! We booked a trip to Ha Long Bay through the hostel and they made it very easy. They also have good parking just outside the hostel. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. "
