I felt so comfortable when I visited KUMU. The staffs are so friendly and I do so love the interior design of KUMU. btw, Dyson dryer can also be borrowed (but it is limited). I would like to visit KUMU again during winter and want to try the okashi in the KUMU caffee.

Loved the hotel”
You will love his hotel if you enjoy architecture and are a minimalist. Great design. But that’s not all. Super comfortable, excellent breakfast worth every bit of 1200 yen, nice room with good bathroom and wonderful shower, excellent staff and very good location. And if you love this kind of architecture don’t miss the Suzuki Zen museum.

Quaint & tasteful boutique hotel”
I chose this hotel for a recent family trip to Kanazawa, and my decision mas made largely due to the appeal of the website and the reasonable rates. True to what the website gallery promised, KUMU hotel indeed presented with tasteful decor, pleasant ambience and comfortable. The space in the tatami room was generous-loved the modern Japanese decor and the exquisite toiletries provided. But my personal favorite will be the cozy and zen tea lounge, ideal for some great me-time after a nice hot bath.

Recommended accomodation in Kanazawa”
Cosy, clean with contemporary post-industrial design tatami room. It's located 3 bus stops away from Kanazawa Station and is just opposite the bus stop when you alight. As Kanazawa is a very small town, travelling to the main attractions from the hotel is just less than 15 mins by bus. There's a cafe on L1, shared dining space (tea room) on L5 and laundry area & vending machines on L6. There's also convenience store within walking distance from the hotel.

Love our stay at Kumu! Location was great, short bus hop on JR bus ( free with JR rail pass ) from Kanazawa station. walking distance to tourist spots.Staff was professional and friendly,. Facility was contemporary,. With lavender scent in the air ,you feel relaxed In the facility. The room was spacious with tatami seating area , a joy to relax with family ! Decor was modern , very pleasant! The large communal tea room was a treat!

Comfortable and centrally located”
The entire experience at Share Hotels Kumar was pleasant, from the engaging and helpful reception (complete with complimentary beer for the adults and juice for the kids), to the traditionally styled yet very new room set up and amenities. Fantastic sushi restaurant recommendation from the front desk as well. Only downside was that it was a very busy street and front-facing rooms (we were on the 4th floor) definitely get some noise pollution. Not terrible, but noticeable certainly...dies down later in the evening. A couple blocks from Kenroku-en park in one direction and from a pleasant little stream and shops in the other.

Modern Japanese Hotel ”
I stay in this hotel for 2 nights, and we love it! We stay in the Junior Suites, very suitable for 4 people staying in one room. It was spacious, very clean, and the hotel is very artsy, I might say. From 3rd to 6th floor, they provide communal area, once you get out from the elevator you’ll find a very nice area where you can get together to have some cups of tea. Locationwise is also good, you can just walk to some attractions of the city, like Omicho Market, Kazanawa Castle and also many famous parks there. Overall we’re so happy and satisfied during our stay. We would really recommend this hotel and If we ever come back to Kanazawa, for sure we’re going to come back and stay in this hotel.

Could be an excellent experience..”
We really love this hotel with its Japanese Zen ambience, and 4 beds which accommodate our family very well. All is good except that this hotel has a strict policy of early check out at 10 am, and the staff is not flexible to give us an extension of check out even at 11 am. Then on check out day, we have passed all our keys to reception to check out, however we are still hanging out at the tea room area on 5th floor to have breakfast, and one of the staff was unhappily saying to us, you need to hurry, it is now check out time. This gesture of your staff is really unacceptable, and quite rude. Hopefully you can train your staff to be more hospitable. We have basically do our best by adhering to your policy to check out at 10 am, but no need to rush us to leave the building. Your property should earns a 5* rating but because of this, you are just a 4* rating for us.

We did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by this amazing hotel. The design of the rooms and the common spaces is great, comfortable and we loved drinking tea together with our fellow travelers from all around the world. The staff are so welcoming, efficient and ready to help. Location is good too, we walked everywhere.

We are a group of 5 adults and 1 twelve year old teenage boy. We had a lovely time here. Location is really good, central yet quiet . We basically walk everywhere. I would recommend my friends and family to come and stay here when they come to Kanazawa.

we had a fantastic stay here. the staff were lovely and helped us with recommendations, booking meals and holding our luggage before and after check in. the room was extremely spacious, clean, modern and luxurious. the bath was AMAZING! the hotel was modern, thoughtfully designed and in a fantastic location. could not recommend this more for a great experience and amazing value for money

The Hotel gives you impression of cleanliness ”
The design of the hotel is simple but just right to those who are not fancy but wanted to travel in style. I booked a Japanese superior room for 2 adults and 2 big boys and everyone likes it. Bathroom is quite spacious. Hotel location is fine and close to Onicho Market that I highly recommend people to visit.

Our favorite hotel during the trip”
This is a designed focused hotel. We love the tea bar concept and the lobby area is also very pleasing to the eyes. We got the Japanese Styled rooms, while we like the design and the arrangement of the rooms, it is not recommended for the elderlies. My mom complained that it’s hard for her to get up.

I would recommend this hotel to any family or group traveler. If you are travelling in group, you can book the whole room to yourself and get your own bathroom. The room was very clean and equip with bathing utensils as any chain hotels.

Loved the aesthetic and design of this hotel!! Location was also good - there is a bus stop outside the hotel and it is within walking distance or 1 bus stop down to omicho market. Toilet was much bigger than expected so it was a pleasant surprise. Also loved the tea tables on the 3rd and 5th floor. Great for winding down after a day of sightseeing.

Clean and comfortable”
This hotel is new, nice with modern design, clean and comfort to stay. Staffs are friendly. Location is good, has a convenient shop just next few doors. However this hotel has no provid parking space, if you want to park your vehicle have few chargeable parking lots nearby there. Overall I definitely will come back to stay again.

Stay for the Hotel facilities”
We love the room, the design, the minimalist decor. Everything seems pretty new. Bus stop is just 50m away, walkable to market, the Kanazawa castle and the famous Ken rouken garden. What could be improved are staff' s hospitality. Helpful yes, but cold. :(
