Luxury plus - you will not want to leave!”
The Samata is absolutely amazing! Everything about the resort is luxurious and private. We stayed in Villa 11 and l think we will ask to stay in this one again! The pool is as large as any hotel swimming pool and the bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. We stayed with our 7 year old daughters and this was perfect end to our holiday. Be mindful though that the 2 bedrooms in the villa are not connected, you need to walk outside to get to the other bedrooms. So my husband slept in one room with one child and l slept in the other bedroom with the other child, as they were a little scared of having to go outside if they needed us at night. Although this would definitely not stop us from staying here again! We ate dinner and breakfast at the Zenso restaurant, both were lovely and reasonably priced for an up market hotel. Lots of choices at breakfast and although it is a-la-carte, there was more than enough food and we left extremely full! Thankyou to the beautiful staff as well!

Perfect for a quiet stay and some pool time”
We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t leave the resort. The grounds are spacious and while our room had a private pool we also used the common area pools during the day as it was so quiet and nice cabana. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing stay

The Samata resort is the perfect place for relaxing and to getaway from your busy life style. You can enjoy the privacy of your own villa or use the facilities to get a good work out. Great peaceful hotel with wonderful breakfast”
The Samata is a beautiful hotel at the outskirts of Sanur. It is quite modern and has 2 beautiful pools. The staff is very polite and will to every favore you ask for. Our room was clean and cleaned every day. We lived in a Spa Suite. These have 2 massage beds in the bathroom and you get a free massage of 60min per day included in the room price. They also have ocean view rooms and villas with own pool. The breakfast was fantastic. You get to choose 3 meals from a menu. It offers almost everything and very healthy. Quality of the food was very good! Dinner portions might be a little too small for some people. We just simply ordered white rice with it and then we were fine! The hotel has a shuttle the takes you to Sanur city where you can go to the beach or have lunch or dinner. For the way back you have to take a taxi, which takes you about 15 minutes and costs 50.000. in Sanur we can especially recommend the restaurants "chez Nina" and "Snecks" and also the Sanur might market for very local food. The hotel itself is quite outside so there a no places to go to eat in walking distance. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a little bit of relaxing and also being able to go to the center of town for eating. The standard is high compared to the other places we have bin. The hotel also has a free shuttle from and to the airport.

We chose the Samata hoping for some R&R and we're extremely happy we did. I felt like a V.I.P from the time the gate was opened by the security staff until we were dropped at the airport. The fitness facilities were superb, my husband was very happy. Unfortunately for my figure I was in Bali mode and made the most of the food. The pools (3) are some of the best I've seen. Having grass to sit on was delightful. Now for our accommodation. It was perfect. If I wasn't in Bali I could has spent 3 days enjoying the luxury room/bathroom and balcony. All meals can be brought to the room. Day trips to paintball, quad biking etc are only a short 40min drive (from Legian allow 2hrs) and the staff will organise this for you. If you want to be in the centre of everything this is not the place for you. If you want luxury with the feel of a home stay, plus all the facilities to to become an 'iron man' plus knowledgable staff so you can be driven into Sanur this place has it all.

We have had an incredible stay at Samata. Located down a small road that didn't initially look promising, the gates open to a stunning building and the most breathtaking views of the pools and rice fields. It is a very quiet hotel with only 10 rooms and it is beyond peaceful. We were here for our honeymoon and are leaving for Lombok in the morning but plan to return... Next week! We had an ocean view room which overlooked the pools, reception area, rice fields and ocean. It was incredible. Our room was huge with a very spacious bathroom, balcony as well as a separate outdoor seating area in addition to the balcony. The breakfast.... Wow the breakfast.... You can choose a number of items and they are cooked to order and are so delicious! We also had an evening meal here which was very nice, not on par with breakfast but the service more than makes up for it. Everyone here is so keen to make sure you are having the best stay as possible. They provide a free shuttle that will take you any where in the Sanur area (7 minute drive to the beach and the food night market which we highly recommend for food). The large gym is a great addition we used it on a couple of occasions as well as the tennis courts and table tennis! Leni on the front desk as well as everyone else really made our stay special and always had a smile on their face, it truly was a slice of paradise! Lisa the manager came and met us and was so lovely, we hope to return within the next two weeks!

A world away from the hustle and bustle. ”
My partner and I stayed at The Samata for 7 nights. From the get go the resort was very acommodating. Once booking was made and confirmed, the resort contacted me to notify me of the many complimentary benefits the resort had to offer including airport transfer to and from the resort and free access to the gym/games room just to name a few. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Hardy, one of the resort's concierges, who went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and fuss free as possible. The resort is off of a main road but you can hardly tell from our villa (villa 6) as the atmosphere was so peaceful and serene. The only con was probably the size of the main meals for breakfast but it doesn't mean you weren't filled up, only that you'd have to order all 3 courses to be full. However, the food was delicious and always delivered promptly. All in all we had an amazing stay. The whole team did a fabulous job at pampering us and making our holiday unforgettable!

We arrived the resort at 10:00 PM and the reception was nice and warm. They provided excellent service every day including ordered PIZZA HUT. The location of the resort is east to go to Bali zoo, Bali safari, Ubud and Tegallalang etc. We will choice the Samata resort again when we visit Bali next time.

We are a family of four traveling in June with 2 small kids under 4. We stayed at the Samaya for a total of 3 nights. We stayed in one of the hotel style rooms. It was plenty big enough to accomodate the 4 of us with one child sleeping on the couch/daybed and the other in a Portable cot. The room has an excellent balcony with views of the pool, ocean and rice fields. The resort is 10mins drive from the hustle and bustle of Sanua and they offer a free shuttle. Great place to unwind and relax as it’s oh so quit. The resort has excellent facilities with 3 x 20 meter pools and a gym. We almost always had a pool to our selves. The restaurant serves up some really nice healthy food and at a reasonable cost. We had breakfast included in our stay which was awesome I highly recommend the breakfast. Staff were all super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend the Samata we will be back for sure. This place would be great for a wedding or big groups.

This has to be the best resort that I've ever stayed! Simply stunning!! Service is impeccable, with staff so friendly and willing to help with anything! My friend and I wanted to fly kites and they went to find 2 kites for us :) Love the ocean suite! Had a fantastic view of the rice field, big balcony, super comfortable bed, huge bathroom and they even change the fruits daily. The resort has 3 lovely pools, a tennis court and even a mini library where i found great books to read and chill by the pool. I had most of my meals at the hotel's restaurant - price wise very reasonable and,healthy and tasty!!! And i love the gym as well! Hugeeeee and has almost everything that i need, including clean towels and a fridge filled with bottled water! The staff celebrated my birthday for me too with a card, balloons and a cake. Thank you so much! I had such a good time that i didn't want to leave! The only tiny problem with the hotel is probably the location. My friend and I took a taxi back at night and we (including driver) had a bit of trouble looking for the entrance. If you are heading out, just try to remember the surroundings and you will be fine. Not an issue cause i spent 80% of the time in the resort :) so nice that i didn't even wish to step out. Will be back again!!!

Beautiful resort & staff”
Gorgeous resort, amazing stay. The meals were beautiful and the staff so lovely and friendly, they really couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended. It's a little distance from Sanur shops (10mins by car) but the resort happily dropped us off and we would taxi back, was lovely to be secluded. Traveled with an 18month old and no concerns was a relaxing holiday. Breakfast daily was delicious as was every meal we ordered (some we had to have several times). Hardly any mosquitos bitten twice in 4 days and didn't wear repellant. Big thumbs up and many thanks to the lovely team for looking after us so well.

We felt secured staying at the Samata although it was like in the middle of padi field. The facilities were excellent for those who are into healthy lifestyle. The food quality was top notch.
