I’ve read through many of the reviews for this resort, and some were unduly harsh and Some are excessively laudatory. I will address some of the points made in those reviews. Our room: we had a sea view Room and we were entirely satisfied with it. It was very clean. There were no mosquitoes in it. And it was nicely appointed although a bit spartan but that’s not unusual for a resort Of this type. It was substantially better than the hotel rooms we had stayed in over the course of the proceeding week in da Nang Hoi An area. The Staff: each staff member we encountered was exceedingly friendly and helpful. They are simply were no issues on the score. Vacant stores and shops: many have accurately described how a large portion of the shops have either never opened or have been closed. In my mind, this is neither a positive nor a negative comment, but merely an observation. My partner and I did not come to the pearl to shop, and so this Was irrelevant to us. And Since when has the feeling of “we had the whole place to ourselves” been a bad thing? It’s only annoying if you plan your vacation to be like a visit to the mall. Otherwise, it just lends to the peace and tranquility of the resort. Restaurants: there were several restaurants on site, most of them catering to the Korean crowd, but there’s no reason other people can’t eat there, as we did. The food was fine and reasonably priced. The actual hotel restaurant where breakfast is served is open and spacious, but curiously not air-conditioned with anything other than portable AC units. If you are fortunate enough to grab a table in the line of the breeze of a portable AC, you are fine. Other locations were quite warm. This is an oversight in the hotel construction that seemingly could be fixed. Simply install some central air conditioning like both hotels. The breakfast offering: the buffet had, at my account, 27 individual items that you could choose from, including both Asian fare and western fare. Those who complained of lack of variety simply were too focused on a few particular items that they wanted, whether that was eggs and bacon, or dried fish and rice. But there was plenty for everybody and the buffet was far better than the breakfast buffets in the other hotels we had stayed in over the last week. I cannot begin to comprehend how some reviewers claimed the breakfast was in anyway “terrible” or “unsatisfactory”. It was good. For lunch and dinner, there were several restaurants of 15 minute walk down the beach offering a variety of food, including Vietnamese, Italian, and general western dishes. The beach: some reviewers complained about the cleanliness of the beach. My partner and I walked up and down the beach for several kilometers and found minimal trash and debris. Three items of plastic or other junk in a 1 km stretch. This is by no means “dirty“. And is far better than a lot of Asian beaches. If this was a concern of yours, put that concern to rest. The beach is very nearly pristine. Our only complaint: we don’t know if the shower set up was the same in every unit, but in our unit it was an accident waiting to happen. It was a combined shower and bathtub unit, the kind we all despise. But in this case, stepping over the lip of the bathtub is especially high. And there was limited room to exit the bathtub when your shower is finished and nothing substantial to hold onto while your foot descended down onto a wet floor. I do not recommend this for the elderly or those with mobility issues. I suspect if this sort of set up with Standard in the states, hotels would be continually sued for personal injury liability as people slipped and fell in the awkward position they forced into when exiting the shower . I am a very fit individual and it was scary enough for me.. Bottom line: we would not hesitate to stay at the Pearl again if the opportunity arose, and in fact wished our state had been longer than it was.

Was a lot calmer than Old Town Hoi An.. which is crazy busy!! SO SO glad we chose this area!! Hotel is located on the beach and a short walk or quick grab to An Bang Beach centre where there are lovely local restaurants, the lovely Ocean Nail and Spa and it's even better sister location at the amazing Sandy Hills Spa for the best massage and pamper session you could ever ask for. As for the hotel... The hotel room was lovely and they do an amazing breakfast. They have a return shuttle to Old Town 3times a day but only in the afternoon. There's a couple of mimimarts on site but on the pricey end. Massage chairs and air-conditioned coffee and cocktail lounge there as well. A couple of local restaurants but more geared toward Korean guests. There's a Lotte cinema but only had one movie in English while we were there and the older kids didn't want to watch Minions so we never went. It seems like COVID has affected the hotel a little in that there's a whole downstairs area with next to nothing there and the mall between the cinema and foyer is totally empty. It's a shame as the staff we met were really lovely. Special mention to Viet in the breakfast room who would give us updates as to where our Dad was every morning and my Dad was so happy to see him for his early morning coffee and chat before a walk to the beach and back to breakfast once the others woke up. Thanks Viet, your kind and friendly nature was appreciated by our whole family 😊 Front desk assistant manager was also lovely (forgot his name) and the duty manager who checked us out was super sweet and gave us some commemorative fans which was a cute touch to end with. Pool towel attendant was also super sweet. My only critique would be the pool bar service. This would be one area I would maybe look at employing some staff with really good English language and welcoming personalities. Google translate is great but at the pool you're not always walking around with your phone. I know not all guests speak english but if you are opening tourism up again and targeting Australia and New Zealand most of us are Bali holidayers and service is five star over there. The right staff will serve drinks, point out what's good on the menu and get you to stay all day and come back for dinner at night. That one little detail definitely won't stop me from coming back to your wonderful country and I wish you all the best for the future enhancement of the hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

no, they looked after us as best as they could. The beach was beautiful right next to a bang beach I’m pretty much a four dollar Grab ride to hoi an so you were close enough to the madness, but Enough way to enjoy it. The staff was as helpful as I can be. When we left. They gave us a parting gift which is very appreciated. I did not have to do the rooms are clean and housekeeping was amazing. because I’m staying with a bunch of mates and they were on the beach side of the Hotel The hotel gave me a free upgrade to that side which I was very appreciated so I have nothing bad to say about the place at all. I found that they went above and beyond of what they could do and also having a minimart next to the hotel was perfect as well.

Great location right on a clean beach , with a huge pool as well . It’s short walk to the village with a lot of local eateries and bars . Hotel breakfast was really good . My only suggestion is to organize breakfast in two different locations to fit all the people . We went during public holidays and those days it was just supper crowded and the breakfast restaurant couldn’t accommodate all those people . Still I would comeback again as the hotel and private beach is great just maybe avoiding public holidays 😅
