Relaxed Romantic getaway”
We had never been to this part of the world before and honestly we were blown away at the beauty of the island. The Palms was the perfect place to stay. Stunningly beautiful views from our cottage. The staff could not do enough for us, they were fantastic and friendly and mix a mean cocktail to be enjoyed next to the infinity pool. The cottage was very comfy and clean. The room was cleaned daily, fresh drinking water was regularly topped up. The Palms Organised our Scooter, boat trips, taxi’s and anything else we asked for. The food at the Palms was absolutely fantastic. A mix of traditional and western, very reasonably priced. I would recommend this accommodation to singles, Couples or families of all ages. We will definitely revisit in the near future. Vicky $ Jeremy - Brisbane

Paradise ”
This in my opinion is the perfect spot to stay on the island it’s far enough away but also close enough to the action. The view is unbeatable and the rooms are really decent for the price you are paying. The Bintang is always cold and the room service menu is decent too. Highly recommended and I’m sure we will be back 😊

It was a truly magical experience ”
The Palms Ceningan Hotel is truly a hidden gem worth exploring. Getting there is a little tricky (motorbike ride to Ceningan Island from Lembongan over a rickety narrow wooden bridge) BUT the minute you enter Ceningan island itseld its as though you've been transported back in time. Unspoilt and untouched beauty in every way. Entering the Palms Hotel was literally a breathtaking experience, the clifftop views, swaying palm and coconut trees and clifftop bar and deck lounges made the whole experience magical! The food served there is on a whole different level-hands down the best food we've ever had in Bali. It takes a little while for your food to be prepared but trust me, it was worth the wait. Fresh food daily and fresh drinks. Owners Paul and his partners Becky and Chris were so friendly and kind that it made our stay there even more pleasurable and made it even more difficult for us to leave. Highlights from Ceningan Island include the best snorkeling in Indonesia at Mangrove Point, swimming alongside giant Manta Rays, cliff jumping into the ocean, swimming in crystal clear blue waters and of course super clean white sandy beaches. Hidden paradise..plan to visit again very very soon. The only issue we had was with the shower temperature control-either extremely hot or extremely cold..but honestly its a small price to pay for everything else that's just perfect.

Nothing can beat The Palms Ceningan! Amazing!!”
I don't know how to describe in words how amazing my stay at the Palms Ceningan was. When we arrived scooters with very friendly staff member met us at the Ceningan bridge. We had a very fun scooter ride to the hotel. As we walked onto the patio a huge grin went across our faces when we saw the breath taking view. we were greeted with a cocktail and shown to our bungalow. Don't believe the reviews about the salt water cold showers and the bugs in the rooms as that is all false. We had a warm shower every night and did not have any problems with bugs! our hot water ran out and the staff were immediately apologetic and fixed it for us. we could not have asked for better staff, they did everything possible to make our stay as good as it could be. They organised a scooter at a very cheap price, surfboard hire and manta ray and snorkelling adventures. If your a surfer this is the perfect place to be, a perfect surf break right out the front of the hotel, which is always pumping out great waves. The food at the hotel is to die for! The bungalow is cute and private, just close your curtains and no one can see in. You have the option of watching movies on the projector screen in bean bags with a cocktail in your hands under the stars. I highly recommend visiting in dry season as there are sunday seshs and full moon parties held at the hotel. There is not one negative thing i could say about The Palms Ceningan! We will definitely be back!! from Sarah and Jeff :)

Magical and peacefull nature escape ”
Just spent an amazing 4 days of relaxation, island exploring, surf and fun with friends on Ceningan island. We couldn't have found a better place then the Palms for our long weekend getaway! Just a short boat ride from Bali, the transfer was very well organized (although adventurous on motorcycles) - we were immediately welcomed by the super friendly Wayan with a fresh juice and info about Ceningan and our stay at the Palms. The view of the Palms is magical, the swimming pool is great, and the overall look and feel of the hotel is loungy with great deck furniture. The Rooms are big and clean. We felt at home immediately! Sunset drinks are a must and the super friendly staff will make sure you don't miss anything and even helps you plan any activities you have in mind : private snorkeling trip, mangrove tour, motorcycle tour, surf, etc... we'll be back!

Amazing 3-day stay”
I travelled with my 2 girl friends, we never visited either Lembongan or Ceningan before so we were just betting our stay at The Palms Ceningan. When we got there, we were struck by a jaw-dropping view at the resto and pool! We were greeted by friendly staff and the owners themeselves! We were even offered to upgrade to the front bungalow at no cost at all but unfortunately the guest in the front bungalow has not yet checked out so we decided to stay in our bungalow which was not bad at all. The bungalow was clean and spacious with a colorful rustic decoration that I love so much! Service was great, the hotel arranged our snorkeling trip, cliff jumping, and motorbike rent. They also arranged masseurs for us so that we could have a massage by the pool facing the sunset. Perfect! Food was awsome and who could ever know that we could have a 5-star-hawaiian cocktails that tasted just perfect in an uncommercialized island? I cannot speak more highly about this hotel, you should stay here and feel it for yourself. The pictures of this hotel didn't lie, they hotel is exactly the same as depicted in those pictures...

Superb….So relaxing”
We were pleasantly surprised to find accommodation on Ceningan, we have been to The island of Lembogan many times over the years. Which is getting a little crowded now. When we arrived after our quick boat trip to the island the staff from The Palms were there to great us. Once we arrived i was so happy to see the beautiful view looking towards Bali. My husband was very happy with a great little surf break right out front and i quickly started to enjoy the pool on the cliff and great local cocktails. I love that we could both enjoy the surf experience without me being dragged down cliffs and left on the beach. I could take photos sip on a drink, read my book all from the amazing deck chairs. Ours rooms were great very comfortable, great bungalow style but with all the mod cons. The beds and linen were also top notch. And i am fussy about bedding. The menu had lots to choose from and found the fish and mexican big winners. there are a few little warongs in the area to eat as well, so you do have that option, because we do like to get out and look around. The breakfast was so large our found myself eating lunch late. On the downside the roads are a little bumpy, but its all part of the adventure. We hired bikes and had a blast cruising around both islands. I look forward to returning next year. All in all I highly recommend this hotel for couple who real want to get away and relax.

Breath Taking, Relaxing, Best Stay In Bali”
Our stay at the Palms was amazing, from the moment we got off the fast boat at Nusa Lembogan we were looked after so well, when rocking up to the resort we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful view and the hotel it's self was sooo lovely. Most of the furniture is made out of used boat material's which is soooo nice and gives the atmosphere that special touch. There is a huge deck with lots of space and great outdoor furniture for round the pool. The food was the best food we have ever had in Bali and we have been to Bali 6 times, they have a Mexican menu which is sooooo yummy ;) The staff were hands down the best service we had on our whole trip, always going out of their way to do anything or get anything for you and NOT at an extra price at all. The rooms are sooo lovely and have everything you need (good collection of DVDS too for those rainy day or nights) The pool is soooo relaxing and the staff can organise massages for you by the pool or in your room(which I took full advantage of especially when they are well priced) there is a good left hand break right out the front of the hotel but you do need to jump on a moped to get round to the beach but well worth it! I loved that I could lay in the pool and watch my boyfriend catch some waves! As there is only 4 bungalows it feels like you have the hotel to yourself which is just awesome and there is a couple of resorts around you that do lunches and dinner which the food was also great at! We will definitely be going back to The Palms every time we are in Bali from now on and next time will be staying longer! Would be awesome for a group of friends or 4 couples :) I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family especially if you are an adventures person and love the beach life ;)

Comfortable, pleasant, indulgent”
The location was remote, and beautiful. The staff are amazing. Wayan the female manager is fantastic. Becky, one of the owners goes out of her way to make you feel welcome & important. My only complaint is that the wifi internet is hopeless. I would have liked to know in advance that the hot water shower is sea water. Be brave & hire your own motor bike, so you do not feel trapped. The Ceningan road is awful which is meant to be fixed in 2014. If you want to languish by a gorgeous pool, with attentive staff who are ready to bring you drinks & fantastic food, this is the place. If you need more action then get your own motor bike and be independent. The staff will take you anywhere at any time, I did not like to ask. I am saving up to return to The Palms. I hope Wayan & Becky will be there to greet me. Forget Kuta....this is Bali

Beautiful view but...”
We stayed five nights at the palms ceningan. We had a pleasant stay. However there are a few things to be aware of. Firstly all the places we have stayed in Bali offer free bottled water, at the palms they do not include on their mini bar pricelist that water is charged.everything else on the mini bar has a price so we assumed this was free we were wrong we were heavily charged on checkout for the water we consumed...breakfast menu was changed two days after we arrived and was beautiful a nice selection and delicious. Bali coffee was awesome. The menu outside complimentary breakfast was expensive even with the 30%discount the restaurant decided to offer during our stay so we ate outside the hotel particularly sea breeze warung which was cheap and yum. During our stay our hot water system broke twice and we were offered to either move to another room or stay in our room and shower elsewhere we decided to move to a different room which wasn't a problem however we were disappointed that we were moved from a room with a lovely view to one totally blocked and thought they may offer couple of bintangs to make up for he disruption but nothing. Pay TV didn't work.but didn't bother us. I got wifi on my phone but tablet couldn't pick it up at all. View was beautiful and was lovely to have the day beds. Beds in the room were comfortable and rooms were clean however think the toilet stones may need a scrub as the concrete slab smelled of urine in both rooms. We just shut the door and wore thongs in the bathroom.staff were lovely so was owner. We did think the price for the accommodation was a bit overpriced you are more paying for the view. We probably wouldn't stay again as we could stay at reef in nusa lembongan for $70per night which also has beautiful view, pool and breakfast included and is closer to everything.we took scooter to nusa lembongan everyday so we would probably stay nusa lembongan next time.we hired our scooter from lembongan traveller for 75000rupiah per day

Beautiful spot overlooking best surf in Ceningan. ”
Overall it was lovely. Biggest complaint was that our room was not serviced at all while we were there and we stayed 4 nights so the floor got quite dirty and new towels would have been nice. Also, they have nice umbrellas but not much tree shade so during the day it was quite hot if you weren't in the pool. However, the view was breathtaking and it was fun to watch all the surfers as it overlooked the best surf in Ceningan. It was so fun to explore both Ceningan and Lembongan on scooters and the fact that you could only get to Ceningan via a small bridge ( walking and scooters only) gave the place even more charm. A peaceful getaway and the staff were awesome.

very very nice hotel”
the view was fantastic, clean hotel, it was nice to enjoy the drinks and beautiful sunset at the pool. food was great and tasty though pricey compared to nearby hotel. taste of fettuccini was excellent, the best fettuccini we ever tried (even compared to restaurant), buritos for breakfast was also great. we enjoy very much our stay, but we should let readers know electricity were often down. it was not the hotel fault, it happened to all ceningan area. hotel has its own generator but it took a couple of minutes to turn it on

Beautiful property off the beaten path”
Great property with restaurant, bar, infinity pool, sunbeds and A/C bungalows in gorgeous Nusa Ceningan. Very happy with my stay and with the service. Only suggestion to potential bookers is to strongly consider renting a scooter as the area is very hilly and walking from place to place is not an option.

Unexpected comfort in paradise”
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived on rural ceningan island to discover a bit of civilization in the wilderness. The setting and ambiance were fantastic with a great modern yet traditional feel. Surprisingly, their tex Mex food was awesome! The views of secret beach and the ocean were amazing and I definitely enjoyed watching the surfers as I ate breakfast. The only negative is spotty power at times but that's nitpicking. The hotel is after all well off the beaten path.

Beautiful memories and best on Ceningan!”
The views from the property and the second floor of our room were breathtaking, and sunsets were magical. The food was so yummy, especially the fish burrito and veggie balls! We personally loved the location next to a sweet little beach, but remember to bring your water shoes as its rocky and shelly. A few other tips - the walk to the warungs on the main strip is about 15min, and the walk to the yellow bridge to Lembongan is about 45min, so make sure you're comfortable on a scooter before you get here for ease of travelling between Ceningan and Lembongan. Lembongan is big and hard to get around otherwise. Scooter hire is about $7 for the day as opposed to paying over $10 for individual trips on the back of a bike. Another thing to note - you cant flush toilet paper down the toilet anywhere on the islands to prevent blocked plumbing, so make sure youre ok with this and happy to use a bidet :)

Beautiful setting”
It was a little bit further to go over to Cenningan Island- but once we got there we were immediately able to relax with a drink in the pool looking out over the surf spot. The hotel staff were fantastic and Friendly with good English. The bungalows are brand new and exceeded our expectations. We could see out over the water from our bed and their was a fully stocked fridge . I would recommend the Palms to anyone- there is something for everyone. You can hire a scooter from the staff and go around the island to snorkeling spots. There are other places close by to eat and drink if you chose. (Food and drinks are a bit pricey at the palms compared to some other places on the island. The islands are a lot nicer and more quiet than Bali, the beaches are clean and clear. So much to see and do. Can't wait to go back!

Exceptional, paradise, beautiful”
Our stay at the palms was beautiful and we cannot wait to get back. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main island the palms is absolute paradise. An exceptional view, clean villas, comfortable beds, great food, amazing staff, good surf and worth every dollar! Our stay was peaceful and hassle free. The staff were exceptionally accommodating ensuring we had everything we could need and want. Our villa/bungalow was clean and lovely. The deck is amazing with a stunning view, infinity pool and relaxing lounges and chairs, with some reserved for hotel guests only. The location is peaceful but easily accessible to the main part of lembongan, friendly staff will help you to organise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
