This bangalow type hotel is situated near beautiful beaches. Access to beaches is a little difficult to find way, but owner took me there riding behind seat of his motorbike. Foods and drinks were good and near local prices. When booking, I ordered the villa to manage picking up from my stay in Sanur and take me back to Denpasar in return. This was about 50 usd including high speed boat to and from Lembongan island. So, no difficulties going to this villa in the Ceningan at all.

SUPER, PERFECT, AMAZING! ”
AMAZING, SUPER, PERFECT, these are few words that can explane this hotel. Hotel is new, so everything is new and clean Room is just big enough for a vacation and relaxing. This is one of the best bungalowhotel i've ever been! The location is perfect, you can hear the ocean, see the ocean, you can watch the sunset right on your balcony or when you're eating in the restaurant( btw, food is so good you might gain a few pounds;)) and you can see the DOLPHNS from the hotel 3. Beach is little walk away ( about 5 min ), but it's okay. Beach is clean and white. The hotel pool is clean and warm with perfect ocean view. Now to the staff. I don't even know where to start. usually i write " Friendly staff". But this is not enough for these people here. I want to write, this staff here is like your family, they will do anything and everything. You don't have to tell them 5-6 times, they WILL NOTICE by themself. Yes this staff here is the best and friendlyest and warmest i've met! You can also rent a scooter from them. When you will know the time your boat is in lembongan, tell them via Facebook on write to them, they will pick you up on the bridge, you will find the staff with blue shirts. IF i ever come to Lembongan again I will 1000% stay in this hotel, and I recommend everybody this hotel, family, friends, couples. Thank you so much for this amazing vacation! Johanna and Germo

A very nice but remote hideaway”
We enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Villa very much. The hotel is small (only 3-4 bungalows) so always quiet and with a very relaxed atmosphere. The bungalow was spotless clean with a huge outdoor bathroom, Indonesian style. Breakfast was very good and served on the poolside with the fantastic view on the ocean and the surf spot. The staff was helpful although not all of them spoke English so sometimes we had to wait for the enligh speaking guy to be around, but that was never a problem (worst case they can call him). Food in the restaurnat was good and reasonnably priced. There are also other hotels with restaurants within walking distance if you want some variety. The staff can arrange activities (snorkeling tours, motorbike rental) for you, just ask the day before. The only downside is that it's pretty secluded so if you want to be able to shop or walk to bars and so on, you might want to stay on Lembongan instead of Cennigan, which is pretty undeveloped. The road to get to the hotel is super bumpy and only accessible by motorbike (no cars). They will carry your bags on a motorbike when they come pick you up, and if you want to be able to drive around by yourself you need to rent your own bike and drive it on the bad roads of the island. We found it fun and have great memories of it, but some people might not like that, so be prepared :)

Great location and value for money”
Beautiful location near the sea, well maintained garden and pool area, this was comfortable despite the small and fairly basic room design. The staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to accommodate all our wishes. The island itself is quiet, and for those that are looking for evening entertainment, it may be too quiet, unless prepared to hire a scooter and ride thru the narrow streets to other parts of Ceningan or Lembongan. Great spot for keen surfers, saw great breaking waves all day long.

Beautiful and best buy for Nusa Ceningan”
I highly recommend this hotel for staying in ceningan- it it a bit at a distance from the restaurant scene and the food was C average at best but the views and rooms were fantastic for the price and given that its in a very rural area. Be advised showers and sink water are all salt water- understandable considering location. Staff was really accommodating and helpful is setting up tours and transport.

We had a wonderful time here, the staff were absolutely stand-out, organising our transfer from Samur to Ceningan. Breakfasts were the best we have had so far! Jacob the manager was so friendly and helpful. Awesome view and pool. Check it out you won't regret it!

Very Nice, but has its upsides & downsides”
The location was great, nice ocean view. Staff were friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was basic but delicious. Pool area was nice too. Now, our room was at bungalow no. 2 which has unobstrusive view to the ocean & sunset. The only downsides were the bathroom & the bedroom's AC. The bathroom was ok, but feels too open to the adjacent property. The AC worked but could be better. We understand that fresh water is an issue for the whole island, so as long as the shower & toilet works, it's good for us. Thanks for the memorable weekend getaway, we'll come back soon.

Best Sunset and Wonderful Staff”
This is a wonderful place to see the sunset and the staff were amazing, again showing the great hospitality we grow to love in Bali. Our first visit to the island and the only bad thing was our inability to move about on the island, as we can't drive a scooter. The place is located towards one end of the smaller island Ceninghan and we only manage to explore a radius of 200m at most, which is sad, as there is quite a fair bit of wonderful spots on this island. The sunset view however was extraordinary and this is a wonderful place to chill and relax and recharge battery. Limited rooms however and we were not able to stay for 2 days, as we had planned, so do book early!

An uncharted piece of heaven...”
Though in its beginnings, it felt as though it's been greeting weary travelers since the island was carved by the oceans currents thousands of years ago. the manager went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. They were in the process of printing their menu and getting everything together for the grand opening, and he went out of his way to make sure we were fed. They carried a sense of humor and smiles like a badge of honor and laughter was always abundant. The relaxation in the strong sun by the saltwater pool was everything needed after so much travel. I originally booked just one night skeptically, and ended up staying a week. Though off the beaten path, if you're a surfer, back packer, or couple looking to get away. I recommend you split from mainland Bali and enjoy a true getaway.... I can't wait to visit next year and see how they're doing. I felt like a part of the family by the time I left...

I was traveling alone and quite unsure if my requests to the villa would follow through as I did not have a way to contact them directly except through the message system agoda provided. They replied promptly to my concerns and emails. On the day I arrived the driver was already promptly waiting at the airport and all my transfers were handled as requested. Going around the island, there were options for tours and scooter rental at the villa but since I did not know how to ride a scooter the villa staff arranged a driver with scooter to take me around for a reasonable fee. For specific activities, since I was alone, the staff were even kind enough to drop me to and from other locations in the island I wanted to go. If you find it frustrating to talk to someone who cannot understand your language I suggest downloading an app for translating. The villa is perfect for relaxing by the pool and watching the sunset.

Quiet, beautiful, friendly hotel”
Staff were excellent, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful location, but within five mins walk of a number of good restaurants. The rooms are quiet small but very clean, with a nice outdoor bathroom/shower. The pool is small but great for a cooling dip. The food is cooked fresh and okay; the breakfast is very nice and promptly served. One thing to note is that the hotel is set back from the water, so there is about 50m of grass/bushes between you and the water. This does ruin the views slightly, but it is still a beautiful sunset.

Non-stop rhythm of waves as the backsound”
Shall anyone need for peace, this is the place! No TV, outdoor bathroom, wooden villa, ocean view, large pool, no doubt of stress-releasing place... really back to nature... 3 nights has never been enough... All they have need to do is maintain the cleanliness a bit, found ashes on the lining of the window, other than that everything was just excelent!

Nice, big cottage, with terrace, very well maintained. Open bathroom at the back of bungalow. Stunning sunset view from the pool. Stuff very kind. All bungalows have ocean view. Food is also excelent and cheap. They can drive you to the yellow bridge.

Could be good”
It’s situated high with a good outlook over the ocean , the pool is nice ,and the staff are friendly, the rooms ( villas) are standard Bali typical, The cleanliness could be taken up a notch eg. Around the outsides of the units is dusty , the bar area overlooking the ocean and deck needs maintenance and bathrooms need a good makeover The showers as we knew are cold sea water - not a problem All in all it’s a reasonable place for the price but with a little spent and cleaned up would be a gem

Beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful organising tours. Food is great, room and bed is 1st class and the view is breathtaking. Hired scooters from them at 80k/day. 2 min scooter from Mahana point and 4 min scooter from yellow bridge and cafes along the water. Few nice warungs within easy walk. We have already booked for next year. Nicest hotel we have stayed at in Bali and great value for the money.

A relaxing quiet small hotel”
This place may not suit everyone, but it was great for us.....great view, food, staff, value for money. Bungalows are comfortable but a little small, not much space for bags or anywhere to hang clothes etc... Also, bungalows need some maintenance as sliding doors don't slide properly in #4 or bathroom door in #3. This then means that the aircon isn't as efficient. To get around this beautiful island you really need to hire a motor scooter. Fortunately, the roads are mostly fair and nowhere near the traffic of mainland Bali. It's also cheap to rent (80K per day) and cheap for fuel.

Not as pictured”
it was nearby Mahana Point walking distance, got an early checkin a breeze, not an infinity pool as pictured, now that they’ve added a sunset view point with seats so minus on that, had dinner there selections was good, at night it was pitched black that it made you not want to do a thing and tuck in early, it was very very dark seeing that Villa owners dont turn on the lights, you hear the Ocean bang on you all stay long so it was OK.
