Best resort in Bali”
I often travel around Bali because I live here and I have stayed many hotels, The Menjangan is the most fantastic experience in Bali I ever had and I would very much like to go back some other time. Hotel location was in the middle of forest and near the beach where we can experience both and we could see some of animals while walking around riding horses. When it was night, we could see all the stars in beautiful sky and it was amazing. Snorkeling was also fun to do because in this area is national park so nature was all still clean and beautiful. Staffs in The Menjangan also very kind and friendly. I recommend this hotel to all travelers with kids or couples or any kind of adventurers! Cheers!

The Menjangan is nicely tucked away in a peaceful natural setting of the national park. Keeping everything as eco-friendly as possible was such a wonderfull change from other locations. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They went all out to make our stay such a memorable one. The facilities, room, services provided at the resort are clean, very well maintained and so well-considered. The peace and quiet of each day was so blissful after always having so much noise in the cities. Would highly recommend a stay here - so many activities to choose from, walking trails to keep you relaxed and out in nature........truly amazing.

We came for the location in the national park but were also delighted by the warm welcome and service of the entire staff and the total comfort of the facilities. Both restaurants were excellent and what a treat to enjoy delicous breakfasts in the tower while viewing Bali starlings and eagles, among other birds. When we first checked in to our room, I was a bit disappointed how sealed off and detached it felt from the outdoors (no opening windows for natural ventilation; we had to rely on the AC), but when we returned to our room on the second day and spotted a Javan banded pitta out the back window, my opinion softened; our room was now a blind from which we were able to watch this special bird for over an hour feeding in the leaf litter.

Unbeatable location in Bali Barat National Park ”
Wonderful stay at the Menjangan - loved the access to trails throughout the national park. The resort is really designed to fit into the park. The Monsoon lodge rooms were spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the great service. Our two guides Ketut (stables) and Wayan (snorkeling) were professional and great hosts. Really enjoyed SUP on the bay and the breakfasts at the beach restaurant. Now is the time to go and enjoy this park when there are less visitors and more chances to enjoy the natural surroundings and wildlife.

Very nice adventure ”
With The Menjangan we had very amazing trip. We extend one more day for this to be 3 nights in the jungle. The room is so spacious and clean, even the internet works very well so I could join the online meeting easily. What might to be reconsider was the price of the restaurant which like a the price of 5 stars Jakarta Hotel but with so so taste. The beach is nice, too bad my daughter didn't want to do snorkeling as in Nusa Dua Bali. Anyway it was so delightful to have a trip there. We will return next time

The perfect escape! ”
If you can afford to stay in the beach villas you absolutely must. The first night we were in the Monsoon suite which was good but when we saw the beach villas we asked about upgrading and we were lucky because there was only one vacant villa left. The resort is on a national park so the area is very big and there is a Safari car on call to take you around the resort. The beach villas are amazing, with the shore line literally metres from your front door. It was lovely to wake up each morning with the beach view and seeing the deer and monkeys around the area. We also highly recommend you do the snorkelling expedition to Menjangan Island, it was absolutely amazing as were the guides that hosted us (Wayan and Sanur). We will definitely return to the Menjangan resort one day as it was the highlight of our honeymoon.

Amazing experience, quiet and relaxing place. ”
We had a great time at the Menjangan. Traveling with a 4 and 1 year old, staff was very helpful. Everything is done to help you enjoying your vacation. Our daughters loved the rides in safari cars ( usual transportation mean in the reserve), snorkeling with a lot of fishes to see. Food was great too and the room very comfortable and quiet.

Here during the pandemic so it was quiet. Great place to relax and unwind indeed!! Very relaxing and enjoyable. Kids enjoy swimming around the jetty and snorkle to see the fish. Room was clean and nicely sized. We had no issue with mosquitoes either. Just be aware of monkeys. Truly no picnic on the beach or jetty area

The monkeys also enjoy some tasty food, but we do not feed them and it is forbidden anyhow, yet if they can steal a fruit or slice of bread from you they might go for it. ... Even if you're coming from some other idyllic part of Bali. The snorkeling is mind blowing. We took a boat trip every morning from the end of our pier, and then spent the rest of the day kickin' it on our decks, watching the monitor lizards, mangrove macaques and deer. By the second day we were so relaxed we could hardly walk down the little raised path 100 meters to dinner at their fantastic waterside restaurant. Day three, we were wondering if we could get someone with a wheelbarrow to push us to and from. They probably would have, too, as great and accommodating as the staff and general level of service was. Food was fantastic, too. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Menjangan resort is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. The Bali Tower offers unbeatable views, and is very popular at sunset -- have a drink and chat with everyone. We stayed at the Monsoon Lodge and it was comfortable and really well-served. Nice quiet pool. The free transfer service was prompt and fast. The trips through the jungle are simple enchanting. Watch for the monkeys and deer. Nice offering of activities - we liked the kayaking and the snorkel trip. This is a Very Quiet place, and isolated. You'll go into town (fifteen minutes, I think) for social stuff. It's embedded in the national park and feels like it!

We live here on Bali and decided to spend a couple days at the Menjangen resort. Our expectations where in every department succeeded. Really nice, professional and friendly staff that always where helpful. Breakfast was delicious and so where all the other meals we enjoyed. We stay at Monsoon Deluxe. The room was spacious. The staff is very friendly. In outside our room, have a pool and the pool safe for children. The hotel, have private beach. You can swim and snorkeling there. Also the hotel, have a lot activity. Horse riding, bike riding, or kayaking. Recommended. Thanks.

Beautiful retreat in paradise”
Stunning location and tranquil setting. One of the best sunsets to be seen anywhere as it sets over the volcano on the east of Java, across the water. But what really makes the resort is the staff. Friendly, attentive and personal. They couldn't have been more lovely.

I really enjoy my stay in this resort, a good place in a quiet ambience in Taman Nasional Bali Barat. We can meet the deers, they are very cute and shy, found many monkeys also. We did lots of things like snorkling, trekking or just chilling in swimming pool. The bed room and all facilities are ok, clean and sufficient. The staff are also ok and friendly especially staff in beach restaurant. But lack of person in reception so I have to wait long time as only one person handling guest. Generally we satiesfied with the hotel

Had a great stay here, nice room, beautiful surrounding forest environment, yummy breakfast. Bad WiFi though. No TV channel, only video on demand was available. I wish I could stay longer to try out all the facilities available. Will be back here next time

The Menjagen was incredible!!! We ended up upgrading to the beach villa and it was stunning! Seeing all the wildlife in its natural environment was so special. The staff are unbelievably accommodating and so so kind! We had the best time and will most definitely be back in the future!

Great back to nature experience ”
My wife and I own and operate a highly rated eco-resort in Bali and thus; are quite discriminating when it comes to reviewing other hotels and resorts. We were very pleased with the location, being right in Bali Barat National Park and were able to see deer and monkeys on the road and beach, which my young boys enjoyed. We also found the quality and taste of their cuisine to be excellent. The resort also provides reusable shampoo, soap, and water bottles in the rooms, which is a great first step toward being eco. We'll definitely recommend The Menjagan to our guests wishing to explore West Bali.
