Exceptional”
The Henry is exceptional and a lovely landing spot in Metro Manila. Great food, great staff. The one thing that marred our visit was a wedding on the grounds on our last night there. It intruded in 2 ways. First, we as hotel guests had to walk through the courtyard where the wedding party were assembled to get to the hotel facilities. And we sure weren't dressed for it. Second, the wedding was scheduled to end at 8 pm and went on with very schmaltzy music and miked testimonials until past 11. The Henry should reconsider how they handle events like this.

Loved this beautiful little paradise in the middle of a crazy city. You literally feel like you are stepping into another place! The room was very comfortable. The details in the room and decor were lovely! I would definitely stay at this hotel every time I am traveling though Manila! Oh and the restaurant was delicious!

Great rooms. Comfy n spacious with high ceilings. Nice menu in the restaurant but really need more veggy and vegan options given this is manila. Chef accommodated the request to make Salmon grilled instead of poached which was nice. Provided ibuprofen at night when a headache struck which was a real blessing. Thank you to the kind staff. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Great value for money.

Great Value”
Extraordinary little hotel newly rehabbed from 1940's era buildings it has a Casablanca ambience tons of dark woodwork and open air entry to the each building. Honestly it feels like you stepped out of a time machine because it all looks brand new yet with WWII era architecture and decorum. The staff are exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was better than at my 5 star hotel and half the price. If I ever return to Manila definitely looking here first!

The property was like an oasis in the desert...Lovely trees, an outdoor pool, all 300 meters away from the U.S.Embassy where I needed to go to visit the VA Clinic. Yes, the Hotel is old...but it was immaculate in all manner...Hallways, room, toilet facilities...all perfectly clean. What impressed me a lot was a "Hello" or "Good Morning Sir" from every single staff I encountered...they were all so friendly. I travel a lot and these staff were above average...kudos to them and their training. The restaurant had very good food too!!! I will return here!!!

We went here prior to the pandemic. It was during halloween. The staff went to the rooms to give the kids candies and to have a picture taking (the staff were in costume - adam's family), and at night they had a movie viewing. It was simple, but fun. My daughter liked it.

Our Stay At Henry’s”
My boyfriend and I are very much delighted with our stay at Henry’s to celebrate his birthday. We never expected such relaxing small paradise exists in the heart of Manila. Rooms are quite big. Though it’s old, vintage lovers would appreciate the vibe. We had also enjoyed relaxing at the pool by ourselves alone in the afternoon and next morning. There’s a very light crowd of people unlike the common high rise hotels. This i recommend to those who are searching for a tranquil and relaxing place. I could also say that the staff are so nice and accomodating. Everyone greets us with smile everytime we pass by the reception. The food was also amazing, served in a small restaurant called Apartment 1B. It’s not a buffet but just enough to make us full.

Beautiful atmospheric hotel relatively close to the airport ”
Beautiful hotel, full of old world charm, which is very different to the usual high rise / business hotel option prevalent in Manilla. You feel a world away fr0m the hustle and bustle of Manila. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (like most Filipinos we met!) Convenient location - it took me about 20 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel on a Sunday. It is also walking distance to the city train which takes you to the old city - helpful if you want to avoid the mid-week traffic mayhem. Main downside was the pool. One of the reasons I had chosen the Henry was that I had a long evening flight home and wanted a nice pool to relax by on my last day in the Philippines. However it looked like it needed a good clean and I had no desire to go in (I didn't see anyone else risk it either).

Lovely oasis of tranquility...very charming!”
When you pass through the gates it’s like stepping into another era. Gives you an old-time feel, but with a modern twist. The only thing I did not love was that they were unable to confirm, in advance, two beds for me and my mother. Once we got there, we had a queen and then they got another room ready, but I would have preferred a confirmation ahead of time. Lovely staff and super attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Great heritage hotel ”
This place is a hidden gem but the potential to be great is not fully realized. I love the fact that it has remain true to its original design. So nice to find such gem and they try their best for the upkeep. I was a bit disappointed not only by the size of the swimming pool but also by its cleanliness and the overall setting. It could definitely a great pool with the right lighting, design and surroundings. The location is also not really the best in manila area but for privacy and the greenery and its heritage, it is highly recommended. I would stay again.

The hotel staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The food is great and the place has a nice vibe. What can be improved? 1. There's dust under our room's couch. For the room's price, you would expect it to be spotless clean. 2. There's a bit of a hassle when checking in and out. It takes about 5-10mins each, which I think shouldn't be taking that long if the room is already paid in advance and you're on time.
