It was a nice hotel with a nice pool. It looked far from everything however we only stayed a night so it is hard to tell. The breakfast was good. The only problem we had is the hot water which was missing but they fixed the problem as soon as we told them.

First time to Asia and the staff at The Griya Sanur ensured that I will definitely go back again. 3* rated hotel, but, 5* service. Could not have been looked after any better by the staff. Always pleasant, helpful, good to seek advice and information. Food was lovely, the room was maybe smaller than expected, but, very comfortable, free WiFi in the room, bed very comfortable and slept like a baby even though the hotel is right next to a busy road. Do shuttle runs daily from the hotel to the beach or centre of Sanur and they pick you up at request. One day they forgot to pick me up, mentioned that I had to get a taxi back and they reimbursed me the taxi fare, was not expecting that. one night had to ask for a doctor, they had a doctor on the phone with me within 10 minutes and within another 10 minutes the doctor and nurse were knocking on my room door. Staff even asked if I was feeling better. Pool, looked slightly small, but, didn't go down to it, so, can't really comment. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Laundry service excellent and at very reasonable price, depending on time you may get it back same day or following day. Room was always immaculate when I'd get back in the evening. The only down side, would maybe be the location, only 5-10 minutes to the centre of Sanur & beach in the car. Can be walked, about 40 minutes (depending how much you've drunk), taxi fare from Sanur centre to hotel only costs about $2. Even impressed with the manager chipping in and helping clearing tables in the restaurant. Great price for a great service. Would I go back to Sanur? Yes. Would I stay at the Griya Sanur? Most definitely! Would I recommend this hotel to others? Absolutely! Some 5* hotels would be pushed to match the service!

Great hotel in Sanur”
The Griya Sanur was the perfect place to start my trip in Bali. I chose this hotel after arriving to Denpasar at 10pm, based on the ratings, and also because they have 24h reception. The room was clean and comfortable, with a big glass door that gives access to the swimming pool. After staying one night there, I spent some time enjoying breakfast and talking to the restaurant staff, who were super friendly. The receptionists were extra friendly and helpful when they spent about two hours with me giving me tips and helping me with my travel plan in Bali. After that, I decided to spend the day in Sanur and spend one more night at the hotel. The free shuttle that runs at scheduled times to Sanur Central/beach from the hotel is very good, because the location of the hotel is probably the only thing that is not that great in this hotel. I decided to have all my meals at the hotel's restaurant and I do not regret that decision. The food is good, the price is reasonable and the service is great! The breakfast is also good, with a few different options to choose from. In the morning, since I had to pickup the shuttle to Ubud at 7:30am, the staff packed breakfast for me and left it at the reception before I even woke up!

Our stay at The Griya Sanur was very pleasant, room was a good size, cleaned daily and if you do have a concern see Lilis on the front desk and she will fix it with a smile. Hotel being on the bypass was not a problem because they have a shuttle bus which can drop you to the sanur centre or the beach. We had the pleasure of being driven by the hotel manager Mr Gede when no other driver was available. We found the staff are very helpful and eager to please.

Nice hotel for groups with excellent staff”
the griya sanur is a very nice and new hotel along sanur's main road. the rooms face a patio with the pool, thus noise is not a problem. the staff is extremely helpful. only caveat: walking to the beach means crossing the neighbourhoods between the main road and the beachfront, which can be done in 10min. the way is explained very well by the staff, but at night it's probably more convenient to take a taxi. therefore, i would recommend the very reasonably priced hotel for groups who choose to spend the day on the beach using the hotels shuttle or who use the hotel as a home base for trips around bali.

New hotel, off the beaten tracks in Sanur”
Enjoyed a pleasant 4 day stay at the Griya. A modern and clean hotel with all rooms encirceling a nice and quite pool, where you fortunately not able to hear the noise from the nearby main street. Its location is a little bit more distant to the beach and the city center of Sanur than most of the hotels, but this drawback is made up by the free shuttle service. Breakfast quality is very good and service has been helpful and flexible throughout our whole stay.

I booked at the last minute so received a very good deal. I loved my pool-side room and could even plug in my lap-top when using Wifi sitting outside. It's a reasonably small hotel, which I like. The staff went out of their way to please.The room was kept spotless and lovely clean white towels provided daily. I used the free shuttle bus to go to the beach or to Sanur centre and was always picked up on time when returning. (Not always the case in Bali!) This is a new hotel, really making an effort to provide good service. Don't be put off by the fact it's on a busy road! I am very sensitive to traffic noise but didn't notice it. The bed was very comfortable too.

Great Hotel, brand new, clean, centrally located”
I didn't intend to stay as long as I ended up staying, but I am glad to have caught this hotel when I did. Being in between homes, my budget was not as great as if I had been on holiday. Having just opened, I somehow managed to get a room. Within days, it began filling up. Rightfully so. A great deal. Everything was new and clean. Being in Sanur on the bipass, I always thought would be a loud sleepless experience but the design of the rooms all leading to the shared pool with the water flowing over the rocks, no noise was heard and I got a great nights sleep. I would recommend this hotel to friends coming to visit me in the future. Decent wifi, cable TV, Lounge area and a decent restaurant.

good hotel for the price I paid ”
I had a price with Agoda so I just paid 17€ per night (fees included ). The main point is the clean room and comfortable bed, as simple as that. The pool is nice but a bit little ; the water is good and the area is sunny, which is great to relax and have some rest. There is a free shuttle service to go to central Sanur which is appreciated. The staff was nice, each time I was asking something they were reactive and answering my need. The welcome drink tasted really average but anyway, it's free... The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was good, they can also deliver in your room and in my opinion the room service is good value because the price is not that high comparing to other hotels . The location is not good if you want to have a walk because it's on the main road and the traffic is intense . Unfortunately you hear the traffic noise from the pool and also from the rooms . But it's still ok. There is a good chocolate shop just across the street called Bali Bon Bon, nice place to chill out and enjoy a snack. The wifi from the hotel is ok but keeps disconnect and you have to enter the code several times a day . Bit annoying. In general my stay has been good in that hotel, I would say if you have activities during the day around Sanur (like boat, water sports, etc.) it's a great place to stay. But if you are looking for a relaxing place near the beach that's definitely not the right hotel. For just 2 or 3 nights and activities during the day it's good hotel, with Agoda price of course. And the sheets were really clean!

Griya hotel is located on the outskirts of town central but it is very convenient with free shuttle service every hour into town center. I really enjoyed how clean and well supplied the rooms were, the baths needed shower curtains. The pool was excellent and quiet. The restaurant was excellent, the ingredients were super fresh and all of the dishes that I tried were very tasty. Strongly recommend this hotel for relaxing and stress free stay!
