The room was clean, the staff was great. My room wasn’t quite ready when I got there but they text me within half an hour to let me know it was. They were all so nice. There is a McDonalds and a Coney Island Hotdog right in the hotel its great!

March Madness viewing”
Appreciate The D hosting a free viewing party. However, the volume of the speaker system was deafening. I asked the D employee if there was any way to turn down the volume, and he basically responded passively, “I’ll see what I can do”. Nothing was done and we had to leave the venue to find another place to watch the games. Additionally, when multiple games are being viewed, when commercials are shown, the correct decision would be to transfer sound to another game, instead of leaving the volume on the commercials, which we all know, have increased volume. We aren’t at a concert, we are trying to enjoy basketball games without being blown out by the speakers. I contribute it to laziness on the part of the controller. Time to re-access who is in charge of the sound system.

Garage elevator drops you right next to check in. Rooms are typical but nice and clean. Lighting was on the weak side for some reason. Room and bed lamp pretty weak. Typical casino floor. For a great meal go to Four Queens right next door. Get player card and go to their restaurant, they only have one. Been going there for years and it's still a good value. D is right on Fremont Street, exit the hotel and there you are. You also get a free pass to circa, a new hotel, a 5-minute walk down Fremont Street. Take advantage of their huge stadium like pool area. It's actually a bunch of pools like a big party place for children LOL. Massive screens, huge speakers. Very warm pool. Definitely designed specifically for the major party pad. One pool was on the open when we were there, I mean it's December 30th. They're more like wading pools so understand that. There's really no swimming there.

The Place to Stay & Play!!!!”
The direct flight and the cost of the flight, hotel and car rental was definately a selling feature. The Las Vegas airport and immigration experience was the best we have ever seen. The D Las Vegas provided excellent customer service, the rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The Fremont Street experience is a definite must. All your entertainment needs are within walking distance (Bars,Music,Food,Shopping,wide range of Casinos) We highly recommend The D Las Vegas Hotel.

A bit frustrating from time to time, but ok”
Had a bit of a struggle at check in, came a day early and booked one night two hours ahead of arriving, desk clerk could not find my reservation and told I would have to come back later... unacceptable resolution, I said "get manager". About 5- 10 minutes of waiting and they had found my reservation and got me checked in. Very nice corner room with king bed and great view, but bell man came with my stuff and said I had to change rooms, clerk had made mistake... other room was unacceptable, had to go back downstairs and make a fuss, and was given the original room for my entire 4 night stay. Last two days it started getting really hot in vegas, and I started having trouble with my AC, which they fixed. Twice. Other than these minor irritations, the hotel was fine, would stay there again, and would also stay at several other Fremont Street hotels if the price is right. I look for bargains on 3 star and 4 star hotels when coming to Vegas, am there for work not fun. The D is one I have stayed at before and will stay at again.

My thirteen days at The "D"”
I stayed here for business and had to extend. They were very accommodating. I had a lot of inventory with me and the bellmen were great. Really, I liked the staff. I travel 300+ days a year and for business ... this worked out. For the party crowd --- it is a younger group of people. Go go girls dancing. House music. Drinks flowing. Machines ringing. I would say that most likely 80% of them think The D stands for something other than it is ... The owner is from Detroit. Upstairs on the 2nd floor have the old school slots. Yep. Put the coins in and cash them out. There is a horse racing game that gets a fun crowd going. Quarter bet. Older crowd. Music a little more subdued. 80's stuff ...90's? Even Tom Jones singing "It's Not Unusual" and I'm only serious!! I was in the middle of 197 free spins when it was playing. Yes, a captured moment. lol :) The D Grill has Oxtail Soup. Get it. The Buffalo machines at the end of the long bar --- bang! Seriously. Keith at The D Grill (employee for 20+ years) knows Las Vegas. Ask him anything. One more thing ... the "Longbar" . . . standard fare - video games .. free drinks ... super long bar. As a guest, you can reserve seats at the bar for football games and they will televise the game that you want to watch right in front of you. You WILL want to do this. Trust me. That looooongbar is filled and has the best seating in the house. You know what? I fricken forgot to reserve seats and on game day -- it was "on and crackin" as the kids say. lol. Bottom line - great place for a great value.

Good value for money”
This is the first time I stay in Fremont street in Las Vegas. I love it here because it close to everything and all the major hotel in downtown are next to each other. The hotel is clean and car park is easy to access. Check in is easy and fast. The front desk lady is very helpful, I have made two reservations through Agoda for three consecutive nights, the front desk lady managed to check me in in one time without having the hassle to request me to redo the check in again for my second reservation.

Great location and value - but don't plan on sleeping before 2am”
The hotel itself is great. Clean, modern, big comfy bed, nice shower and bathroom. Even an extra bed in the couch in the room. However, it's RIGHT on Fremont Street. RIGHT next to a stage playing live music all night until 2am. You will not sleep before 2am. Even with double-pane windows and earplugs I could hear the band rocking all night long. I finally just gave in and went out and drank and gambled until the street shut down. I mean it's Vegas, baby. The restaurants were decent, the coffee guy RIGHT by the elevators was a brilliant touch. There isn't much of a "resort" - the pool isn't heated in off-season and there is no jacuzzi - yet there is a resort fee putting the room at about $50 a night all in. A good deal overall.

Smoky start”
You will have to register in a smoke filled {from the casino} area, but rooms are smoke free. Arrived early, and a room on the Fremont street side was available {but not recommended as it would be on the band side with late night noise}. Opted to wait an hour and got a nice room on the 31st floor in the back. The staff were great ; the concierge managed to get me flight boarding passes and rental car drop off directions the next day, the front desk staff answered all my questions, and the D Grille waitress was both professional and courteous. Ready access to the Freemont Experience made the stay extra special. This hotel is in downtown Las Vegas so access to "The Strip" is limited but available. I would stay here again

Perfect”
First time staying on Fremont Street for a Vegas trip and I didn't regret it. Hotel is perfectly located right on the Deuce or SDX Bus line and right in the middle of the Fremont Street action. Check in was seamless surprisingly since I had a late check in (flight didn't arrive till 11pm). Room was nice and cleaned daily and the fitness center was decent for those trying to remain consistent with their gym routine. I would def stay here again as the price was very reasonable and the hotel itself is nice .

Great location, great hotel. ”
We wanted to stay on Fremont. The D provided a nice, updated hotel at a good price. The owner was onsite several times during our stay, which says a lot about how successful he wants the hotel to be. The noise level from the street is loud from about 10am til 2-3am (we were on the 12th floor). However, if you are Vegas then quiteness isn't what your looking for anyways. The noise from the street did not bother us. We will be staying here again.

my wife and I enjoyed our stay at The D Las Vegas. We wanted to stay on Fremont Street and for the price and acoomodations, we were not dissapointed. Really enjoyed the old style slot machines on the second floor; nothing like hearing your money falling and having a bucket to put your money into..brings back memories. thanks "The D Las Vegas"!

Honesty review”
The D is a fabulous hotel to stay at in old Vegas. It's location to Fremont st is perfect as it sits on Fremont. Our room was gorgeous and on a high floor. The Eh part- Our toilet seat was cracked. We were told it would be fixed when w checked out. It kept grabbing our butts when we used the toilet. The staff was testy. Whenever we asked for assistance or had minor request they would cut us off mid sentence and reject our request. Example. They were updating the lock system during our stay, WE WERE MADE AWARE and were told it should take no more than 30 minutes. So on our last day, check out was at 12, however the lock changing crew arrived at 9am and woke us up, they were in our room until 1145, so we were unable to shower, change, etc. We requested a minor extension took 1pm and the staff became very rude turning us down. It took 7 calls to get the manager who finally told us 1 was fine then hung up on me. The casino was decent, smoke was bad, drinks aren't free

Great Place”
The location of The D was great! Right on Fremont street, where you could just walk a few steps and hear the band playing, have a choice of a variety of food, or walk down the street to the Mob Museum. The room was clean and quiet being located where you can hear the band playing. The tent across the street to watch the NFR was easily accessible and very friendly employees. This is my go to place for Vegas.

My Pad for EDC”
This is only the Place that I will Book during EDC Weekend, from the Valet to the Friendly staff...I came in early at 2 PM when check in was at 3 and they gave me a Room 1 Hour Early. The Room itself is nice and Bathroom is spacious. The Location is Top Notch in Downtown Fremont street where all the action is. Hotel check in gave me some coupons at their D Grill Restaurant on the 2nd Floor so I got nice Lunch and Dinner for a Cheap price...Their Slots was generous also, I put $5.00 in a 25 cent slot and won $80.00 which paid for my Food all weekend for EDC. The Staff is super friendly and their Long Bar is awesome. Will be back again here next Year
