Great Value of Money”
I have just recently stayed at the Amartya Jogjakarta Hotel for 4D3N and I can say that I have a great experience with the Amartya. at first we thought the location is quite far from the city center. but we were wrong! it is only around 6km. it is located very close to Kadipiro, where the famous soto Kadipiro is located. in the same area you might find lot of famous food as well, such as Gudeg Yu Djum and Gudeg Song Djie. check-in process was very smooth. they accommodate our request when we booked the room. first impression of the facility was okay. the Amartya has the industrial style allover their facility. the lobby was nicely decorated with high ceiling that give extra room and many decorations that looks nice. it is very instragamable, so the millennials said. so if you are really into social media updates it is a very plus point. the room itself was great. we mainly choose the Amartya because the room was spacious. you have more than enough space to put your big luggage, other stuffs and even to pray. so you will not bump into other furniture or your room mate. the air conditioner was cold. I was actually requesting to get a room with cold AC. since the room is spacious and we have experienced in some other hotel problem with the AC, we want to make sure that they can provide us with the good conditioned AC. we were very satisfied, that even with the spacious room the AC was very cold when we set it in 21 degree. we also love their concept of supporting the environment by not providing water in plastic bottles and in glass bottles instead. during this pandemic situation their breakfast is delivered to each room. so we need to confirm what we would like to eat from their breakfast menu. they also bring trolley with some options we can choose on the spot, such as bread, pastries, dim sum, traditional cakes, cereals, etc. the main course was delicious. BEST value for money”
Had a fantastic stay at the Amartya! Pros - The place has a wonderful industrial design. Very Ig worthy (for all millenials lol) - On arrival they gave me a welcome drink - cold brew coffee. Brought fruits to my room as well to welcome me! - The staff were very accommodating and nice - Room was as it appears in the photos. Very nice. Very clean. Very spacious. - They even changed sheets DAILY! I stayed 3 nights. And i guess kind of a con cos i imagine the water consumed for laundry of all the beddings changed daily. :-/ - On my last day i checked out quite early to leave for airport. My booking did not include breakfast but they provided me with a box of yummy pastries and coffee Con - the only con is that it is not walking distance to any establishements like restaurants or cafes. So i always had to take a grab. Not a problem really cos the tours i booked got me from my hotel. And grab in Jogja is so cheap! Its about 6km (20 mins) from malioboro st. or Prawitoraman st.

Amazing hotel with affordable price”
The only "bad" thing about this hotel is it's location, it is situated near outskirts of the town. But, no worries it is located right beside the ring road, and in 20 mins or less you can reach malioboro and other spots in jogja. This hotel give a very strong rustic vibe, with cement plastered finished walls, minimum furniture at the lobby, gives you more space. The ambience is carried to the rooms. The room is HUGE, you can even put your stroller and still have more space to move about. The amenities provided is uniquely presented in a basket, the pillows are NOT white and they change the colour when they gave us new set of pillows. That also happens with the bed sheet and the bed cover when I asked the room to be cleaned. Love the idea! The hotel also tried to be green by serving the complementary drink in 2 laege glass bottle. The room is equipped with small fridge, which is great. Absolutely love this hotel and will be back!

The room is clean, comfortable, spacious and very instagramable the staff is awesome, they are helpful, communicative and make everything easy for us The breakfast menus for 3 star hotel are not disappointed, main menu is ala carte (fried rice,noodle, eggs) but they have free flow of bread, cake, salad and cereal the location, though not close to the center of the city, is perfect for us as it is less noise and we didn’t face traffics for some tourism location (the temples, goa pindul, lava tour merapi)

The Best Industrial Hotel in Jogja!”
This is my second stay at Amartya and the stay is so good. Despite it's located a bit far from city center and attractions, the service is exceptional! The bed and the pillow is comfortable, and so long boring white hotel linen! They use linens that goes along with the industrial theme. The breakfast is quite simple, but they taste wonderful. And you can watch netflix and youtube for free!
