Ideal for short stay seekers on budget”
I have stayed in this hotel multiple occasions. Every time it met with my expectations. All what I wanted was a clean and quiet room with decent shower facility to spend maximum 2 days at a time during weekends and this hotel is just perfect for it. It is not luxurious, modern or trending place but considering very good prices they offer, it is a win. You get a nice sitting area and larger than standard bathroom and a large bedroom with closet, refrigerator and TV. Channel Selection is very basis but I did not wanted more. Only downside for me is the food. I am not sure whether they have any functioning restaurant. Once I had breakfast and it was awful. Now I book only the room and there are plenty of decent dining options within walking distance. Taj Plaza spa is highly recommended for its cleanliness and quality of the services they offer.

Very friendly and cooperative staff. My room was clean and in working order. The building is kept cool and the pool was clean. I only ordered one meal (breakfast) from room service and though I thought it was a little expensive, I was able to get a snack out of it later in the day. Nice location in Juffair near a mall with a great hypermarket. I would recommend this if you're passing through Bahrain and want a modest hotel.

Bahrain weekend fun”
Travel to Bahrain every weekend and love to stay at TAJ Plaza. Pros: Price is great. Staff is great. Bed is good and room was clean. Cons: Hot tub does not work. My room had 2 TV's but only had one channel that did not work very well.

Relaxed and affordable weekend stay”
This hotel is in a very good location. Area is particularly famous among weekend holiday makers arriving from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries. You get a complete apartment at your disposal with a large sitting area, spacious bedroom and a decent bathroom / toilet. Amenities provided such as hair dryers, televisions and refrigerator are basic but adequate to spend a comfortable holiday. Thing that I liked most was the calm and quiet nature of all areas of the hotel. Staff is ready to help at call and service level is very good. I liked them for not bothering the guest unless specifically asked for help. Breakfast on room service menu is good and provide good value for money. If you look for a decent weekend accommodation at a very good price, this hotel will be a great choice. They have in house parking for all their guests which is another advantage.

Got charged the room price for and extra person ”
I had planned to spend less than a night at the taj plaza, but for some reasone I wasn’t able to add the extra person on the website during the booking, so i figured the staff wil cooperate, turns out no, they charged me 10 BD -which is almost the price of the room- ,just because I couldn’t book for 2 adults, plus they insisted on getting my Girlfriend’s ID which was very inconvenient since i had to drive all the way back to her place and grab it, it was a huge waste of my time, there was no manager available the receptionist would not cooperate at all, the security guys were cool but, there wasn’t much they could do since it wasnt their department, plus i gave my car keys to the parking lots guy, and i told him “I'm checking out soon” then he went and parked my vehicle at the very end since the lots were packed because people were coming to the clubs, and when i came and asked for my car he was pissed like it was my fault “indian guy” so i had to inconveniently wait another45 minutes

Good Price, but noisy”
Hotel is a good value, but a dance club on the 2nd floor creates alot of loud music that could be heard in my room on the 5th floor. Front requires you to give them your passport for security or a 20 BD deposit. This is unacceptable because i wouldn't want to give such an important docunent to anyone. Front desk clerk lost a copy of my ID and had to make another copy the following morning

The room was very cheap and it was fairly large for the price, I can't really complain about this hotel at all. They do have an Arab nightclub there with a fun vibe and friendly staff.

Pro. Price. Con. Arabic club music until 5am. Little to no hot water. No internet in room. Had to be in hallway to use it. Night front desk man not good for customers, he is very rude. No guests allowed to visit you in your room.

Unprofessional Hotel”
They manipulated with the type of room that in had booked through Agoda. They wasn't helpful with me even after I showed them my confirmed online booking, and only Agoda customer service fixed this issue for me. Pros: The rooms and beds are neatly clean. Cons: Not advisable for families. The furniture's are over used.

The only thing that amazed me is the hospitality of the receptionist upon check in and check out, however.. this is the only hotel I been with visitor is not allowed, talked to the manager to ask if my guest can stay for only an hour and he said no. Not even late hours, So I called up customer service to amend my booking and the booking can’t be change, when I go back to the hotel late night. A guy not with uniform approach me and ask me if I’m staying in the hotel.. asked me many times and stop when I show my key card. The room is dirty specially the bathroom, the tiles was old and the toilet flush is not working. Swimming pool is very awful. Ice bucket cost 1bhd.. mini bar fridge is not cooling enough. I will never go back nor recommend this hotel. Been to lots of 4star hotel but this is the first time I experienced this kind of treatment.
