Great value for money...”
My stay in this hotel was a great experience. The room was really big. There was a tub in the bathroom. Although the towels they gave us was not new and the tv was not flat screen or anything, but still the room was a place you can really rest. Even though the hotel is located in a very busy part of Manila, once you get into your room, you can not hear any of the noises from the street. The beds are also big and the mattresses are nice to sleep in. All in all, my stay was great and I would definitely be back in Taft Tower Hotel whenever I need to stay in Manila.

Excellent”
It is important to know that this hotel occupies the last floor of a residence for students. The access to the hotel is easy. That hotel is a simple and very good place with quite decent rooms at the prices proposed by Agoda, in an area where nothing is cheap. The staff (both the permanent staff and the temporary trainees) makes special efforts to help guests and is efficient. The location is great for people who have something to do in Malate, and everything is at a walking distance. For people who have to do with other parts of Manila, they just need to walk to the LRT station Vito Cruz!

Excellent location for my needs! ”
i wanted to check out de la salle university (dlsu) along taft avenue, manila. there are many hotels in the area but the closest/nearest is taft tower manila. it is located just steps away from dlsu! you can count your steps! i find the rooms adequate for my needs. the cleanliness is a lot better than most back-packer places found in other continents. amenities are exactly what is to be expected from hotels of similar price range. hospitality is wonderful. i have nothing to complain about.

Great View”
One of the cheapest hotels on agoda, but far better than those in Malate area. The rooms are big and very clean. The hotel would offer WLAN, if it were not broken during my stay. It is located on the top of Taft Tower, offering a great view over the city. The only bad thing is that in the night, there is nothing in that area and it is somehow hard to get a cab. The good thing, it is between Malate and Makati, so either is not too far away.

it was a wonderful stay, the staff were readily helpful for your needs and very secure hotel w/ security guard at the entrance. location also is safer compare to those hotels located in mabini. one thing that i like most - superior room were bigger, also it has a great view of manila & the bay - the hotel is located at 29th floor. it's also near at sm mall of asia were you can save for your taxi ride. i highly recommend this hotel & will stay again if i'm in manila.

Tops in more ways than one!”
Taft Tower Hotel is certainly great value for money for those of us who do not frequent the top hotels. It was clean and in good condition. The staff, all women, were friendly and helpful at all times. Convenience to all areas would be one of its strong points. There was no problem from traffic noise.

comfortable, cleaner please: cockcroach!”
Well, EGI Taft Tower is a comfortable hotel with afforable price, but i dont know why, it's not included with any type food, dont get brakfast dont see any minibar in the room... I think this is the reason why EGI Taft tower is not an International Hotel... Also, other hotel usually tidy our room while we leave, which this hotel doesnt... also experiencing 2 cockcroaches is my room, since i am very disgust with this creature, this is very lowering the marks!! But in the other hand, their language is good, fast check in and check out, comfy bed and the big score is in the internet, they are fast... :)

What impressed me most when I arrived at the hotel is the hospitality of the staff. I also think they are properly trained and very competent to give assistance to clients. I strongly believed that the staff has good disposition. This was shown when I was not able to print, at home, the necessary document to be shown at the front desk for me to be able to check-in. The night before my flight to Manila, I was supposed to print the necessary document, however, my printer run out of ink so I was not able to print the said document. I told myself that I can always have the document printed from an internet cafe near the hotel during my arrival. The following morning when I arrived at the hotel, I told the person at the front desk that I was not able to print the document from agoda and I need to find an internet cafe to produce it. The front desk person told me that I don't need to find an internet cafe, i just have to fill up their forms. For me, that was a great relief and I was able to save time.

Basic room, clean, conveniently located”
basic room, clean, nice staff. will come back again. if you have business with de la salle university, it is literally footsteps from the university. the road (taft avenue) from which the hotel is located can be heavily congested during peak hours. otherwise, the cabs are cheap so except for traffic jams, you can spend shopping galore at mall of asia. don't forget to catch a glimpse of manila bay sunset. the area is notorious for flooding so avoid during rainy seasons (july, august and september in particular)

hotel is located very conveniently to the lrt along taft ave and there are plenty of amenities just below the hotel. rooms were a good size but very average. the room was painted a terrible green colour which makes the room look very dated but generally bathroom is clean and cleaniness of the room is reasonable. my bus arrived in manila earlier than expected and i was worried that i would not be allowed to check in at 4 am in the morning or would be asked to pay for an extra night but they let me check in, no questions asked and no extra charge. convenient only and only if you are looking for something in the 2-3 star range.

My stay is mostly positive. I stayed for over 30 days. I was hoping the manager could give me a bonus of even a one-night room upgrade (which is not unfair to ask), but he didn't do it. It's fine because the basic room is acceptable for my needs. I have stayed in 5-star hotels, and this hotel is definitely below my 'standard' -- but it is still acceptable. Clean (but old) linens. Housekeeping is efficient and friendly. My comments about the hotel are mostly positive, but I do hope management will disallow hotel staff from playing loud music. Sometimes, they played music at dead times of the night which caused me to wake up from my sleep (or disturbed me when I was working). This staff behavior is particularly inconsiderate for guests who are trying to recover from jet lag. The stereo speakers are scattered around the hallways and the rooms are not sound-proofed enough. Sometimes, I could hear loud conversations by receptionists. BTW, the staff are very pleasant and they would tone down the music if you request them. With the reasonable nightly rates and proximity of the hotel to restaurants, convenience stores, and malls, I would highly consider coming back in my future travels to the Manila.

checking in and out is very fast, and convenient. room is simple and clean though the bath tub iseem to be worn out already. a suitable resting place after a days's shopping or after any other activity one will have during the visit to manila. restaurants are within the vicinity. thumbs down for no free parking as it should be part of the freebies of the hotel.

Good last-minute accomodation”
The best part is location - very central, 20mins away from airport and biggest mall MOA. Outside is a street of eateries, few steps from grocery and a university. The hotel sits on the topmost floor of an old condo building. The place is clean and staff are always nice. Very basic - there's a room and that's it. Price also reflects this so overall okay, not overpriced. However not upgraded anymore and it looks old and not well-maintained.

Hotel offers basic accomodations that are satisfactory for an average traveller,staff are courteous and well-mannered. makes you feel at home right away.rate is competitive for hotels within the area. rooms are well-maintained with clean sheets abounding.hotel site is ideal since it's near a chapel,malls, restos, etc.a good walking distance from the train station. and to top it all, just a stone throw away from an athletic oval for an exercise buff like me. 3 thumbs up!!!!
