Among many luxury hotels such as I'M Hotel or City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati Avenue, Saint Giles Hotel is undoubtedly the best value for money. There is a budget hotel called D'ban that is located a little further down the alley, but it has no windows, weak air conditioning, and the hotel staff's attitude is terrible. I do not recommend it at all. On the other hand, all the staff at Saint Giles Hotel, including the front desk and doorman, are very friendly and provide various conveniences. It is the best value for money hotel, with a rate of less than 50,000 won per night on Agoda. The hotel room interior is also clean and excellent without any clutter. The air conditioning works very well, and the breakfast restaurant is not bad either. This hotel is so excellent that it is difficult to find any flaws.

At the current price, this hotel was personally a very satisfying accommodation. There were room slippers and a hair dryer, of course. The amenities were not bad, and most importantly, the room was assigned with a high floor city view, so it was nice to see the daytime or nighttime view of Makati. There was also a somewhat limited but still decent fitness facility and swimming pool on the 30th floor. Additionally, since it was on the top floor, the city view was quite good. I highly recommend this hotel for couples or families.

LOCATION: Great. Walking distance to everything you need. Banks, convenience stores, restaurants, bars. PRICE: Booked days before check in. Above average. Not the most affordable but it had better reviews among 3 star hotels in the area. (Buffet bfast made it all better). HOTEL: 35 floors in all. Roofdeck (4ft pool + basic gym open from 7am-7pm). 4 working elevators was a plus, though you could tell that it was old. ROOM: We were in the 26th floor. Booked 2 single beds. Room was not that spacious. The "working area" is much left to be desired. It's cute (small). No funny smells. Room was clean enough. No stained sheets nor questionable hairs. Though there was a small cocroach in the closet (murdered it caused ... duh I can't let it live). Called frontdesk and they offered another room but I declined and just asked for insecticide. Frontdesk wasn't able to deliver said insecticide and thus re-offered changing of rooms, declined again cause we wede TIRED it was midnight! (Though they're a hotel, why don't they have insecticide in stock? WHY?) AMENITIES: Toothbrush, soap, shampoo, Qtips, water, coffee, tea. (They have a pool so I'm surprised why they din't include conditioner [and I asked from the frontdesk] in their amenities. Again WHY?) BEDDINGS: Clean. Comfy. Not cotton. Though I'm aghast why was there only ONE (1) pillow per bed?! (Again, this is my #3 WHY?) AIR QUALITY: Elevator air and temperature need improvement. Hallways smell great. Room smells nothing. NOISE: Aircon - 6.5/10. Neighbor - none. Outside - 25th flr so nada. TV: Gaaaahhh, where do I begin. It was working. Period 😅. Anyways, lots of channels (which would have been great IF they have sound). No list of channels. Per channel has to "load" for a second to be watchable. STAFF: Frontdesk - 10/10. Kitchen - 10/10. Security - 10/10. Housekeeping - 6/10. Good enough. Though they forgot to send the insecticide the next day and I needed to call a 2nd time because they took their sweet time to deliver extra towels, coffee, tea, shampoo, soap. I was done with my bath when they delivered it 🤦♀️.

You’re Not Going to Regret It!”
At first, were very hesitant to book this hotel since it’s affordable with free breakfast buffet unlike the other hotels but we ended up liking it until our check out time. The staff are so nice and accommodating. The room is not the most modern one but it’s so clean from the bathroom to the bed itself. We like the fact that the iron board and blower is already there when needed it. The included breakfast which is a breakfast buffet is so worth it. The food are tasty and so many to choose from. They have a salad and fruit bar, coffee and tea bar to the main buffet. The pool is small better to book when it is not peak season to avoid the crowd but overall it’s worth it. There’s a deposit of Php 2,000 when checking in so don’t forget to bring cash. There’s a lot of restos and fastfood nearby. Few steps away is a Starbucks where you can get your coffee but the hotel itself already has its own cafe tho which is located at the 2nd floor I believe. In conclusion guys, we enjoyed staying there. We will definitely go back. The service is outstanding. Everything is clean. Good food and good stay. To the hotel, please don’t change lol.
