Good place to stay”
This is a great place if you want to be close to the harbor to take a ferry the next day. Probably a bit more pricey for a solo traveler but I needed a nice relaxing place to work remote so it was a good fit for me. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the staff is very friendly and helpful. When you arrive there is a welcome drink and you can refill your water bottle anytime. I felt extremely safe the entire time I was there. The lamp was not working and the bathtub would not drain at first. I told the staff and they immediately fixed the issues. I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and how quiet the villa was.

Value for money and helpful staff”
The hotel is very close to Sanur harbour, that's why we decided to stay there before going to Nusa Penida from Sanur harbour the next morning. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel wasn't brand-new, it gave off a vibe of an old-school hotel, but it was equipped with necessary amenity. Above all, the staff made our short stay really enjoyable, from the moment we checked in with welcome drinks, to attending to our needs during our stay and personal touches with welcome and farewell notes. Overall, it was great value for money, do check it out!

Great Resort”
As far as value for money goes this place is fantastic. Very clean and tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far away from the main parts of Sanur but getting transport is no issue. It is only a short stroll to the beach and a lovely walk up the beach to get to restaurants ect..

Extremely helpful staff ”
Nicely located with a nice pool and extremely helpful staff. I had to contact my next hotel to postpone my arrival by one day. The receptionist contacted the hotel and sorted things out. Breakfast and the spa service were okay. It is within 5 minutes from the Sanur beach port which is very convenient if you want to take a ferry to Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida.

Ok to catch ferry”
It's a quite dated hotel, though many in Bali are, to be fair. My aircon was a old and bit noisy, only just succeeding in cooling down the room. Good for a night before catching the ferry. If you are thinking of staying a few nights and in 2 minds about getting up early to do things or sleeping in, don't worry, the decision has been taken out of your hands as the morning sun streams through the wafer-thin blinds to wake at 6am sharp

Not very satisfied ”
The Resort still has very old designs they haven’t updated their washroom facilities, there is no jet spray. A lot of mosquitoes especially in the villas, the 2 bedroom villas the ground floor villa bathroom being open air attracts lots of insects and mosquitoes and is dangerous to go to in the night. Very bad lighting in the rooms. We would not recommend this place to anyone. And the location at Sanur is very bad. Sanur doesn’t have lively attractions around except the beach which is very crowded

Excellent Hotel to tour Bali from.”
My wife and I stopped at this hotel for seven nights during the second week of our trip to Bali having spent the first week on the Tanjung Benoa peninsula. We found Sanur was an excellent place to be based for the regular sightseeing tours of Bali. Plus the lively busy resort area of Kuta for a day or evening trip was only a 30 minute bus or taxi drive away. We were personally looked after very well by the staff of Sri Phala Hotel, we were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade of room on arrival. I am not sure if we received this upgrade by booking through Agoda or for the fact we were committed to stopping seven nights when many guests only stop for 2 or 3 nights ( probably the latter ). For whatever reason the upgrade to a two bedroom deluxe garden villa within its own walled garden, with patoe doors, lounge area and four poster bed with mosquitto nets seperate dressing room area and 'open air' bathroom was first class. In fairness all the rooms looked to be of good quality and very spacious and we would have been happy with what we had booked originally. The dining area situated in the gardens next to the water features and swimming pool serves meals and drinks throughout the day. However most guests only stop for the "included breakfast", which offers a good choice of food and a good enough quantity to fill you up for the day !! No need for lunch. The only criticism we could pass on breakfast was that service could be a little slow at times and trying to get an extra cup of coffee or tea could take some time, hey, but who is rushing when you are on holiday !! Bali is supposed to be laid back. The hotel has its own on site Spa which we found to be reasonably priced compared to other hotel spa's but as usual in resort areas you can always find cheaper prices in the street spa's or down on the beach, if you want to look for it. We took advantage of the hotel spa enjoying massages and my wife enjoyed a "full facial" one day. All ok.

Great time in Bali at Sri Phala Resort & Villa”
Overall we were having a very pleasant stay at Sri Phala Resort & Villa. The staff was helpful and friendly. The surrounding were absolutely gorgeous. Although being in in a village it created a feeling of being in a remote resort in a jungle. Good choice of Breakfast and there were enough restaurants around to get various dining experiences. It's only a few minutes walk to the beach and even Sanur center is in walking distance. The stay absolutely contributed positively to our holiday experience. Unfortunately there was no staff for the Spa when we were there, but you come across enough alternatives in Sanur center every 10 meters.

Comfortable and a short walk from Sanur Beach”
At a night, we didn't expect anything amazing from the Sri Phala Resort. But I am glad to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and checked us in immediately. The rooms were super clean, large and attractive with their wooden interiors and cute balconies. The hotel is located a stones throw away from Sanur Beach (if you use the hotels back entrance) and their restaurant area was really pleasant in the mornings since it is located next to an adorable little "tropical style" pool. There is not wifi in the rooms, but they have a business center in the lobby.

Beautiful within the gates”
First reactions were that the resort itself was very nice, especially for the price we paid. It was very quiet and staff were friendly. The restaurant was cheap and safe to eat meat and all at. Breakfast came with room price and was exceptional. Sri Phala is close to the beach and only a 10minute walk to all the main Sanur shops. However I wouldn't recommend Sanur as a good point at which to see the beauty of Bali. It is a bit of a drive from all the main sites and if you want to see more of the coast and country side I would recommend having more flexible accommodation and moving about a bit, this would also save you money on drivers. If however you are just looking for a tranquil, beautiful resort to stay in that is not too far from the airport, has good food and clean rooms, with a lovely pool and nice staff, then this is perfect for you.

Great Location”
We were upgraded to a Deluxe Villa after discovering the original room's airconditioner was in need of repair. The conversation was short and painless, after 10 minutes the keys to the new room were in the door. The accomdation was fantastic, very clean and well thought out. We could hardly hear the people swimming by the pool (our Villa over looked it). There was a restaraunt next to the pool area but we only used it for the free breakfast (you can get better down on the beach). All in all, Sri Phala was excellent for the price. I have already recommended it to my friends

A quaint paradise hotel tucked away in a good spot”
Sri Phala was more than what we expected. And we enjoyed every minute that we stayed in the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The hotel was full of walkways and trees that made it seem more like a nature spa. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was great! And relaxing by the beautifully designed pool area was divine. The resort was a convenient walk from restaurants and cafes, and a 5-10min stroll to the beach stretch and bars. Cable channels were limited though with HBO, Discovery and ESPN as the only English channels, and the general location was far from other commercial spots like Art Markets, Ubud, Kuta...but at least there was a 24-hour KFC right across :)

overall a good value for the money”
i found the sri phala a good bargain. the staff were very accommodating. it is not on the beach but just a short walk away. people visiting sanur should download a tide table before booking. swimming in the ocean is only possible around high tide. book your time there when high tide occurs between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as it shifts approximately one hour per day. you have to be very specific about what you want when you order breakfast, e.g. if you order sausage, you get one. if you want 2 you have to specify. i found the coffee strong and almost undrinkable. they brew it without a filter. they have a computer available for guest use free of charge.

Lovely Balinese Resort”
sri phala is a smaller type resort with authentic looking rooms with thatched roofs and lovely surroundings. we found all the staff friendly especially the operations manager(daywa but not spelt like that). there were 5 different types of breakfasts that were included and the balinese coffee was good. the resort is not on the beach but it doesn't really matter as i never saw a tourist swim at the beach. the pool is great. it is a short walk down the street to the beach walk which has restaurants. lovely friendly place and everyone there was enjoying themselves.

Quiet retreat - great & helpful service”
We enjoyed our stay. We were familiar with this end of Sanur but hadn't stayed at Sri Phala before. The staff were very helpful with organising transport. Great value for money - food, laundry, clean amenities. Despite fronting onto a main road, and the busy beach, particularly during religious holidays, the hotel was a peaceful oasis. The Spa was lovely and catered to the various needs of those in our group including myself who was 5 months pregnant. While the pool was small - it afforded us an opportunity to mingle with the other guests - particularly families who stayed there. Very close to the beach and local shops so that we could purchase the necessities. A lovely stroll along the beach front to local beach restaurants. We were there in the wet season so be sure to bring and use your insect repellent - mosquitoes, midgies and sandflies all around Sanur, particularly at dusk.

Wonderful Hotel with a great staff!!!”
Our stay at Sri Phala Resort was perfect. There is no much more words other than this to explain what this place can offer to you. The staff is really friendly and helpful, rooms are big and new, breakfast was delicious, spa relaxing and cheap!! Reccomended!!!
