Beautiful hotel, very clean and opulent. Rooms nice but not huge. Free mini bar is very much appreciated. Pool is very pleasant. Breakfast was AMAZING! Not the best location though - right next door to the Aeon Mall but everything else is a tuk tuk ride away.

Simply The Best”
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Sofitel is by far the best hotel in Phnom Penh. It is new, it is definitely a luxury hotel,and the rooms are spacious and exceptional well fitted out. The hotel also has a number of really good resturants.The hotel is also very well located and only minutes away from the river where the nightlife of Phnom Penh is with lots of bars and eating establishments. It is also very close to the casino. I will definitely not consider staying anywhere else in Phnom Penh.

I have stayed here several times and this time was excellent as well. Staff performance was perfect such as calling taxi daily morning and catching small gecko in my room, etc. The best was swimming pool, their staffs were not distracting but quietly helpful. Not come to talk to me first but always wait for any request. I cannot find better place to stay in phnom penh beside of this hotel and I will stay Sofitel again as I always used to.

it is a wonderful hotel stay at sofitel in phnom penh. it equipped with very good decoration, and with the quiet, comfotable and nice asmophere. it is not only good for vacations but also good for business travels. the italian restaurant served the high class foods and nice service. furthermore, the breakfast buffet is nice restaurant, serve with the wetsern and eastern foods, you can also have the fresh fruit ( especailly for asean fruits) and fresh juice.

this was definately one of the better hotels that i have stayed at. it is new and has a distinctive feel about it. the staff were most courteous and the pricing for hotel services was most reasonable. the bathroom was a different layout to the usual, using two sliding doors to open in to a common area with his and hers basins with a wardrobe behind. off that room you had a shower/bath and toilet with glass doors, perhaps voyeurs would appreciate this... what impressed me the most was the fact that i was able to connect my laptop via hdmi to a wall socket that extended onto the plasma tv. best hotel in phnom penh hands down!

Fabulous hotel but getting old”
I stay at sofitel phnom penh once a year and this time I was disappointed because its maintenance is left out of focus. The corner of bathtub is red by fungus and I can feel the every corner of interior room is getting old without care. I will stay at another hotel from up-coming travel. Beside of room condition, every service was good enough.

Great Value for a Top 5 Star Hotel”
To anyone travelling to Phnom Penh this has got to be the best 5 star hotel in the city. The location is good enough no matter where you maybe going to and of course everything depends on the time of the day from a traffice point of view. Rooms are amazing and wide choice of restaurants from Asian to Western and International food. I have stayed at this hotel many times now and can recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Phnom Penh.

We had our honeymoon stay at phnom penh and I must say sofitel is indeed one of the best stays in cambodia. Memories ours stayed with us thru out. The pool and gym were awesome. Breakfast was a good experience too. However the Japanese resturant haChi was a let down as their food is not fresh. Overall we liked the stay lots! We will definitely go back again!

The riverside location was superb. Far enough from the action but only a couple minutes away. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Rooms were great. Very spacious with great facilities. Resturant's were great if you were eating in the hotel. Phnom Penh needed a new 5 star hotel and now they have one. Great hotel.

Took my wife for a weekend away After reading the reviews I chose Sofitel. The reviews are correct Beautiful hotel, luxurious from the moment you enter. We had a club room and the club was just wonderful The service we received made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel Great breakfast and evening drinks Pay the extra and use the club level One of the best hotels I stayed in Only slight downside is the location but a $2 tuk tuk ride to anywhere Tuk tuks are great fun
