Smoke-free hotels in Sinduadi

"This hotel is brand-new, and it is in still-off-the-beaten-path Yogyakarta (which is to be used as a base mainly for the major sites in the region beyond; aside from the most famous of them, I highly recommend Ketep Pass and its view of volcanic Mt. Merapi). It's a largely rundown town, not without its charms, but the Tentrem truly, and credibly, is aiming to be world-class. Unlike so many others, it definitely is five-star, and currently a great value. Elegant, large room; elegant public areas; and one of the very best hotel gyms (24-hours, with indoor jacuzzi and cold plunge pool featuring a TV), as well as a beautiful outdoor pool and spa (with reasonable rates for the latter). Mineral water is complimentary, as is wi-fi (or you can use internet on the room TV). The breakfast selection, though I didn't partake (and the place was on a few occasions, strangely, at full capacity), was unbelievable. Nice views available, some with large balcony. It has its glitches: a few (but fewer than expected) staff members, who are eager to please, have limited English; the high-tech TV system can be slightly annoying; there are drop-offs in town but no pick-ups; and, most of all (in my experience), showers were slow to get hot and/or sprayed wildly (until being quickly repaired) and, very oddly, started with a very bad odor (not sure whether this is beyond the hotel's control or not). But I would definitely recommend this hotel. Without having seen others, I am confident that this is currently the best place in town, and it credibly aims to be a top-notch hotel."

"When I came the doorman quickly grab my suitcase for me. The reception are very welcoming and polite. The room is spacious compare to the other hotel with the same price in Yogyakarta. The room is clean, amenities are there and quite good compare to the price once again. The water flow in the shower tough is a bit weird it gets cold suddenly then warm again then suddenly cold again. But its a minor issue for me I don't really care. Its located in jalan magelang so its far from the airport and actually everywhere else but if you have your own vehicle its best cuz the road wasnt that busy here. And theres indomaret (indonesian 7eleven) nearby. Big shopping mall Jogja City Mall is walking distance and there some food around so its great. The lobby were great and yes there's no swimming pool but hell i won't swim under Jogja's sun so yeah, thats not a problem for me"

"Quite cheap for this 4-stars hotel...the room is beyond my satisfaction.Each room has own balcony..easy to hang wet clothes. Staff on duty on night of 29th April was friendly. He reserved us connecting room as requested in our booking. Great job and big thanks!!"

"Tara hotel got all the basic right. They have fast wifi, cable tv with English Premier League, well equipped gym, great location, friendly and helpful staff. The only minor issues were they didn't have baby cot, maybe in the future they will buy. And the other minor issue was there were workers still finishing the outside of yhe property. But overall definitely would come back for the price"
