As a solo female traveler, this hotel made me feel safe, and despite the large number of residents, I had a good experience staying in a mixed dorm for six people. The communal space is great to be free to do things. The kitchen is also good with enough cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is a supermarket near the hostel. Except that other people will make noise when they move the bed board while sleeping, everything else is fine! Check-in and check-out are also very convenient! The staff are very kind!

Clean, well organized hostel, very proactive staff. Perfect location, just a 2 minute walk from Hyde park, right by bays water station and close to everything in central London. The only thing is that the beds are fairly small, so if you’re really tall you’re going to struggle to fit your whole length I to the beds.

I stayed at other hostels in London, but they were all dirty, noisy and simply put awful. This one on the other hand was organized, clean and provided free breakfast!! You are within walking distance from major attractions such as Hyde Park. I truly recommend!!!

I was stayed for 1 night at this hostel on 26/09/17, the staffs there is nice and friendly very helpful, which I'm so appreciate with this. The hostel was packed, When I was stayed there but didn't too loud and able to sleep at night. the toilets and showers is clean and empty when I need it (as I am always outside and back to hostel quiet late, so not sure if busy or not but pretty sure that the toilets and showers is enough for everyone) Overall, its a good hostel to stay, might not have much choice to choose for a bunk bed as when I was checked in, those people who was booked more than a night already choose their bed. However, still a opportunity for me to get a bunk bed that I don't need to claim up and down. The price is reasonable (mine included a breakfast as well, even just squash, cereal and toasties but still worth for money). However, if you have a big luggage or backpack you might need to hire a lockers around £1.00-£2.00 (not sure for the price as I didn't hire). Would return back to this place again.

sharing a room with 20 others is not easy, but it's hostel life, and for $ in the center of london you can't expect luxury. the showers were hot and the beds comfortable enough. one thing you should be aware of if you bring your own laptop is that you only get 1 hour of free wifi per day.

They will charge from towels to lockers. Great place accessible from Bayswater station. A lot of food around the area. Close to Hyde park and the rest of the tourist spots.

Dismissive staff, Stolen Food, Sleepless Nights”
If you choose this place for the value for money, but not summer, OK. Simply too hot to sleep, especially during the heat wave hitting London. Dripping sweat from your forehead and uncomfortable your back sweat made you awake. Around 2:30am, I saw few young persons sitting on the staircases. They told me "too hot to sleep". They would rather go to Hyde Park to sleep for free. Some male receptionists are dismissive, although few are ok. Unfortunately all travelers are not in accordance with "Men are always right, where women are wrong". At least I thought I was in London. I never expected to be forced to comply with Arabic Practices. Stop watching football/films at reception and do their jobs instead of being dismissI've. The level of cleanliness is disgusting. I needed to iron the bed mattress to kill bedbugs. Severely bitten! Clean seats do not help, because bedbugs live in the mattress. The food in/outside the fridge was stolen. The location is good. Only that.

Too hot to sleep during the summer”
Beds Here are mostly three storeyed bank beds except few special rooms. Because of no air-conditioners in the room, simply too hot to sleep. Dripping sweat kept me awake during the night and you need to go to work or explore feeling tired and sleepy. The bottom bed could be better. But if you need to sleep on the top bed, take your bed sheets to Hyde Park and sleep there. Some people wandering around corridors, canteen or staircases, because they were also too hot to sleep especially during this hot summer. Staff and Receptionists Mostly they are dismissive youngsters. Unlike Smart Stay Russel Square, staff here are rigid and do not know much about customer service. The majority is from former Soviet Union, Eastern Europeans or Londonners originally from middle Eastern countries, except few Western Europeans. Thus, they do not know how to say things and maybe they have not experienced the customer service training for our inexpensive fee.

Hostel was really clean and location was great. However the shared toilet was located within the entrance area of my room so there were people going in and out all night it was rather bad sometimes. WIFI is non-existent in the rooms even though it’s stated that it’s availble property-wide. Beds are really short too if you are a tall person. Great that beds have privacy curtains though.

Good budget option”
The plumbing is a bit shaky and the bunks are mostly triple and quite narrow but it's a comfortable place with friendly people. I stayed in 10 hostels in this part of London while my flat was being refurbished, and this is probably the best budget option.
