A Great Place to Stay ”
If you are looking for a small, no frills villa with a decent sized private pool fit for one or two people look no further for the location and price. Quiet, clean and cool, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the pool is a lovely luxury and very private, there are over a hundred satellite TV channels and the kitchenette was stocked very well. The bedroom was big and the bed was comfortable. The walk-in shower was convenient and a bonus separated from the main bathroom. I mostly enjoyed the location and the many great Warungs close to the villa. I will happily stay again.

We cannot fault this place. If you try and pick faults there is something not quite right with you. To say that the staff were kind, helpful, etc, would be an understatement. Wonderful staff. We couldn't help feeling that you were leaving friends behind when we had to go.

Perfect layout”
We love the staff, so friendly and helpful and the layout. We feel like this is our second home. The unit is like a mini villa, perfect for a romantic stay! It’s very quiet yet very close to food restaurants, bars and salons.

Second time we have stayed here - last time over 5 years ago ! Desk staff ( cleaner and night crew) are great and super polite and helpful We used push bikes to get places as it’s a short distance through to Main Street etc and sanur is spread out Tv wasn’t set up properly though and I remember similar issues last time , it was hanging off the wall so was hard to watch Has good equipment to make coffee and get takeaway meals The doors outside to the pool have warped a little so mosquitoes were getting in We accidentally broke a glass and told the desk as a safety precaution only to be charged $5 aus dollars upon check out …!! Not impressed by that at all and tbh that kinda left a bad taste - we also arranged a late check out for 4pm as flying out 8pm and we’re told $60 - only to be charged $60 US dollars not aus ( we also were asked when we were going to pay it as soon as they said ok and we said sure on cc ? , they wanted cash so I said I’d have to go get it The reaction was a little like we weren’t trustworthy we were all set to get our whole family to book for a birthday next year but now not so sure Overall it’s great value and a nice place to stay , but sometimes it’s those small things that leave an impression

A comfortable place 5-10 mins from the Main Street and 10-15 mins walk from the beach. Have never had such little interaction with hotel staff but this is more apartments than hotel. The apartments are advertised as non-smoking but the previous occupant of ours had been smoking just before leaving and the whole place was stinking of cigarettes. Ashtrays are provided outside and the doors of the rooms open onto the terrace. Therefore the rooms can end up smelling. The outside area is small but has everything required. Completely private and with a lovely plunge pool. We chose this for both privacy and our own space. Smart Comfort Apartments more than tick those boxes. We did enjoy our stay very much and will probably return. However, some redecoration and care is required, as is a little more attention to detail. A picture or shelf with a plant/decoration in the toilet would be a nice touch, instead of just bare walls with no window. More love would mean a more pleasant experience
