Very centrally located, right above Shibuya station, and the airport limousine buses pickup point is situated just outside the hotel's 5th floor lobby entrance. Rooms are compact but cozy, and I love the table with 2 chairs on either side of it, with electric points conveniently located next to the chairs. Perfect for charging your devices, while having conversations over tea or snacks from the amazingly stocked convenience stores situated close by. The beds & duvets are very very comfortable, and the views of Shibuya especially on the higher floors are wonderful. There are perfect views of the Shibuya crossing from the glass lifts, that go up to the 25th floor for breakfast. The breakfast is a delicious and varied spread of Western and Japanese fare, with a changing daily soup that we looked forward to everyday. A special mention for the robust & flavourful coffee!! Also, the restaurant offered amazing panoramic views of Tokyo. Try to get a window seat!! We certainly had a very enjoyable stay.

If you are in Shibuya for the scramble experience, this hotel is perfectly situated and right in the middle of it all with train station, shopping, dining and bar hopping access. If you want a place to escape the madness and get some peace and quiet., this is probably not the place. Rooms are quiet, but my wife said she could hear the revelers in the streets on a Friday night. The room we had was kinda plain and basic, beds weren't very comfortable, furnishings looked old, for about $200 a night. We'd just come from the Sheraton Towers in Yokohama for about $170, and it was much nicer. Honestly, I think you could probably find a nicer hotel for the price.

This was a wonderful stay for my sister's and my first visit to Tokyo. It's right in heart of Shibuya and you can see the Shibuya Scramble right from the hotel. It's connected to Mark City, which has tons of shops and restaurants, and the Shibuya subway stop is right there. We were on the 20th floor, so we hear no street noise. The hotel had lots of amenities, the staff was great, and it was a very large and comfortable room. We'd definitely stay here again!

In short, it is seamless access and connections to almost everything…simply spoilt for choices! Process for check-in/out and transition between rooms of different bookings is quick and smooth. Rooms are compact but well-appointed with comfy beds and beautiful views of Tokyo city & the iconic Shibuya Crossing without the need to visit Shibuya Sky. The front desk team is welcoming, helpful, efficient in accommodating requests and rendering assistance throughout our stay; the housekeeping team has kept the rooms spotlessly clean. The central location of hotel and warmth of hospitality of staff have added a personal touch to our stay, allowing us to immerse in The Beating Heart of Tokyo as well as explore beyond. My family opted to ride the bus from the airport and the last stop was “Mark City” which was Shibuya Excel Hotel. The staff spoke English fluently, and my family of four stayed in the quadruple room on the 11th floor comfortably. You can see the Shibuya crossing from the hotel. There is Shibuya train station very close to the hotel. You should check out “Food Show” in Mark City right next to the hotel where they have many different kinds of Japanese desserts. The hotel gladly stored our luggage for us while we took a trip to another city. We’re pleased with our choice.
