"this hotel gives you more than what you pay. you will get high speed internet (i can watch fa cup live streaming. good air conditioning, a simple breakfast, free flow mineral water, coffee and tea, clean shared bathroom. next to the hotel is laundry service which is very cheap, and next to the laundry is minimarket where you can buy your need or snacks while you stay at Griya Surya Solo. Just go across the street you can take a bus to Tirtonadi Bus Station. Many street foods available at night in front of the hotel. Overall, very worth the price."

"For budget hotel, this one is good. Breakfast is ok. I stayed for few nights. The staff especially the night shift security was very responsive. He drove me to the hospital's emergency room next door when I was sick. I am so grateful with his respond and attention. I'm not surprised, coz all locals are known very nice and polite in this city. Thank you all :)"

"The hotel is extremely interesting, the breakfast was served with elegance and charm and the GM of the hotel (as well as the staff) did her very best to make our stay enjoyable - taking us to the batik village, explaining where to go in Solo and finally booking our return trip to Jogja. I heartily recommend this hotel and would happily stay again on my next visit to Solo"
