I stayed at Sea Club Ocean Resort and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The hotel is extremely outdated and in serious need of renovations. Cleanliness was a major issue — the room felt like it hadn’t been properly vacuumed in a long time, and the carpets were stained and filthy. It’s clear that deep cleaning is not part of the regular routine. The room had several mosquitoes, and I ended up covered in bites. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was also in poor condition — the tub was chipped and worn out, and everything felt neglected. A fresh coat of paint and some basic maintenance would go a long way. The Wi-Fi was almost unusable during my entire stay. It constantly disconnected or was too slow to load even basic apps. For anyone relying on internet access — for work or travel planning — this is a major issue. The worst part was witnessing a very unprofessional incident involving a member of the cleaning staff. A guest asked for towels and, not hearing the response the first time, politely repeated the question. The staff member rudely shouted at her. I was shocked by how aggressive the response was, and surprised the guest didn’t speak up. Additionally, check-in was poorly managed. Although check-in time was at 3:00 p.m., my room wasn’t ready. I was asked to wait 15 more minutes, and even after that, I was given the room while housekeeping was just starting to clean it. The cleaning was rushed and took less than 10 minutes, which was reflected in the condition of the room. The only positive note was the front desk staff — they were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. Overall, I would not stay here again. Unless serious improvements are made, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
