Friendly, Cozy and Quiet”
I booked a bungalow at Sari Sanur looking for a quiet, friendly place located close to the beach and town, and it was all of that plus a bit less and a bit more. Overall, the friendly, helpful staff, who delivered a beautiful breakfast presentation included in the booking just a few minutes after we ordered it, and who helped introduce us to a great driver and things to do around the island, made up for the slightly well-worn feel of the facilities. Not that the facilities were poor - just not shiny new. I personally don't mind older buildings and grounds as long as everything is well kept and clean, and indeed the bungalow was cozy, with good A/C, a nice shower, and a very comfortable king-size bed, as well as a stocked mini-bar with drinks at very reasonable prices for a tourist area. The location, just a two-minute walk to the beach in one direction and the main street in Sanur in the other, was perfect, and set just far enough away from both to maintain a sense of seclusion and tranquility. Sanur offers many features to visitors, from excellent restaurants, bargain hunting at local shops, and a night market serving mostly Halal cuisine to locals, plus an assortment of coffee shops, cafes, and places to find a good Balinese style massage. We also enjoyed a dip in the hotel's pool, and were impressed at the attentiveness of the groundskeeper that unobtrusively skimmed floating flower petals from the water as we swam. The only drawbacks were that to access the grounds from the street side one has to pass by a largely abandoned row of former offices and shops, and the beach is not great for water sports and swimming enthusiasts due to sea grass overgrowth, but it is certainly a lovely beach for romantic strolls at sunrise and sunset, or for relaxing on beach chairs during the day. Next time I'd probably book something newer just to spoil my fiancé a little more, but I have no complaints about our first experience at Sari Sanur and I would recommend it highly t

A Pleasant Place to Stay but Needs Some Renno's.”
Besides the initial arrival being met by a bit of an abrupt, rude man at the desk who possibly was incapable of smiling the rest of the staff were fantastic. I have stayed here previously and wanted to return even though it was only a brief stay before heading to another area of Bali. The Sari Sanur is a nice and relaxing hotel with reasonably private bungalows. The rooms and furniture could use a bit of an update as they have remained the same since my last visit back in 2007? The mattress was not comfortable on the bed and the gate to the bungalow kept sticking. A little TLC would go a long way as would a better standard of cleaning. The breakfast is still amazing and served at your room. If eating outside the staff will warn you about the birds......they are on your plate very quick if you leave it unattended even for a moment! The garden is very relaxing as is the pool. My partner cannot swim but was able to enjoy the pool as it is only waist deep, the children's pool is very shallow too. Access to the beach is easy and it's a shame that the old Bonsai restaurant closed down and you no longer get to pass their fantastic garden however the new 'Sand' restaurant is nice and the area that once held bonsai is an open area with a weekend market held there. I like the Sari Sanur but would like to see it get a little maintenance to justify the prices.

Great stay!”
We enjoyed our five night stay at Sari Sanur, recommended by a friend. The property is quiet yet close to the very busy beachfront walk. The garden setting around the pool and the individual cottages give you an old style Bali experience unlike the modern big properties nearby. Breakfast is served on your own private balcony area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You are a short walk to the Main Street with many restaurants and shops and not far from the popular night market which has good Indonesian food.

Quiet, relaxing, friendly, ideally situated to beach walkway and great restaurants”
We had stayed here before for a couple of weeks. It had been booked for us by a friend married to a Balinese. We found it ideal because we prefer to stay in small quiet accommodation. Having your own bungalow gives you extra privacy. Breakfast is served on your front veranda anytime until 11. The pool in the middle of the beautiful tropical garden is a delight, small but cooling. It is not five star accommodation but the warmth and friendliness of the staff and the space and comfort of the bungalows make it ideal for us. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, fantastic to find away from home!!! All in all we look forward to another stay if we get to Bali again.

Great hotel near by lots of restaurants. Unfortunately we came in late left early so we didn't have much time to enjoy the hotel. Room and bathroom were both awesome. Ying Yang pool was sorta cool as well. Decent breakfast.

Great location on the beach, next to the clubs. Room was basic and a little run down. Club next door was noisy. Staff was helpful, if not overly friendly. Probably nicer places to stay in the Cangu area for the same or less money.

If your only after a bed to sleep in this place is perfect. It's clean and tidy. The staff are great and helpful. Internet is good but there is no Foxtel and amenities is the circular pool which is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is simple and tasty served outside in your personal front courtyard. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

Petite structure hôtelière, quelques bungalows encerclant une piscine agréable, l intimité est conservée par un jeu de portails, store bambou et autres végétations.... les chambres bien équipées et tres joliment décorées vous emmènent hors du temps... à deux minutes de la plage et idem des rues commerçantes mais tout en étant complètement au calme. Le personnel est impeccable, a l écoute, réactif, présent mais pas trop, bref tout ce qu il faut pour se sentir bien.

Excellent rapport qualite/prix”
Excellent sejour dans cet hotel, chaque bungalow a son entree privative et une veranda ou sont servis les petits dejeuners de suite apres appel tel, + : La situation, aussi pres de la plage d un cote que du centre de l autre, le personnel est discret mais efficace, la piscine est agreable bien qu un peu trop chaude, le jardin bien entretenu, internet OK et gratuit, bref rien de negatif sur cet hotel, a recommander.

Nous sommes très content de ce séjour , un grand merci aux personnel de l hôtel pour leur gentillesse et leur attentions. L architecture des bungalows est authentique et le service du petit déjeuner super agréable. Les bungalows sont isoles par un petit muret et ont chacun un jardin privatif. Malgré la proximité du centre ville on y est vraiment au calme. La plage est à quelques mètres ainsi que les restaurants en bord de mer. Nous y étions en couple , un vrai bonheur, un havre de paix au milieu de l agitation balinaise. La piscine est largement suffisante pour se rafraîchir. Bref , que du bonheur !..

Un hôtel parfait à absolument recommander”
Alors la, c'est rare que je prenne la plume pr commenter vu mon niveau d exigence. Mais je me dois de vous indiquer cette superbe adresse. Tout est génial et je n ai aucun reproche. L hôtel est neuf, le resto est top, les chambres spacieuses, la Sdb est clean et bien décoré, le staf est super attentionné et d une gentillesse exemplaire avec les enfants (et la notre est un vrai petit démon) La plage est à deux minutes et le village à trois. Le prix est tout doux . Franchement à ce prix, il ne faut pas le louper. Idéal aussi pour une petite lune de miel . Allez y et vous ne serez pas déçu

jardin magnifique et piscine à voir”
bungalows privatifs autour de la piscine en yin et yang, couché de soleil et levé de lune, lumière magnifique et palmier par milliers. petit dej dans le jardinet privé (pas incroyable mais suffisant) le staff ne parle pas bien anglais mais après tout ce n'est pas nécéssaire. idéal pour passer une dernière nuit/journée avant de repartir à denpasar et pour éviter les abominables kuta/legian/seminyak.

Beau bungalow, au bord de la piscine, à deux pas de la mer et du marché de Sanur. Charme un peu désuet, mais très agréable. Petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse du bungalow (charmante attention). Clairement, un très bon choix!

Prachtige Bungalows, zeer vriendelijk personeel”
het park ligt tussen de hoofdstraat in sanur en het strand. staat vanaf de weg niet echt goed aangegeven en op huisnummer zoeken in bali is lastig, omdat alles door elkaar staat. het is wat anders dan een standaard luxe hotelkamer, maar de huisjes zijn echt prachtig, grote ruimte, hoog en met prima voorzieningen (airco, tv, grote badkamer). personeel super vriendelijk, komen ontbijt s'ochtends brengen voor 10:00 uur. als je vergeten bent door te geven wat je wil (nasi, bami of regulier ontbijt) dan bellen ze zelf tegen tienen. neem wel deet mee tegen de muggen!
