Pictures do not seem to show areas in the rooms that are old, run down and in need of replacing. The B&B office is separate from the rest of the rooms. The office is in one location, while rooms could be in an entirely different block/building. The B&B is located in the middle of a very confusing complex of buildings with very very narrow alleyways that make it hard for vehicles to pass through! The office is in one spot, while your room could be further away in a different building within that area. It's terribly confusing. Area can also only be accessed by car. Secondly, there is no centralized area to eat, sit, relax as the office and the rooms are all spread out. There is no one single common area for guests to gather, which is very confusing because there are some pictures provided by the B&B that seem to suggest that there are - THERE ISN'T. So don't expect that. Some reviews indicated that there are activities for children/facilities provided for children - THERE' ISN'T, so don't expect that either. Good points - our room was certainly spacious and clean, BUT no tables or chairs for us to put our things. we had to put everything on the floor. The cupboard/ countertop that had the hot water kettle on top was extremely old, stained, wood was looking mouldy and not well maintained. Closet cupboards had that exact same look as well. Very dour, ugly, and in need of a complete renovation. Bathroom was very clean but the set up was disappointing - shower area completely not separate from sink and toilet bowl, meaning once someone had to take a shower, the entire toilet floor would be flooded. Very old school yes, but in this day and age it would be much better to have a shower that has at least got a shower curb to keep the water in??? And there is more than enough space to put in at least a simple shower curtain to prevent the spray of water into other parts of the bathroom during showering. Also, the bathroom had zero hooks to hang up clean dry clothes, only a flimsy towel rack which was not properly secured to the wall !!! Also, note that they only provide 1 type of liquid soap in the toilet. So please bring your own shampoo, conditioner etc etc etc. Sanyi needs to seriously rethink how it should update, maintain and renovate in order to provide a good stay for guests! We were told that we could order breakfast every morning, which i made special communications prior to arriving to ensure that we could. However once we got there, we were told that the kitchen is closed on Wednesdays and so we had to find our own breakfast on that day. The staff who was replying my email could have checked and seen that we were there over a wednesday and could have informed me over the email communication that this was the case, however, it was only told to us when we arrived. Overall, disappointed with the stay. Yes perhaps it's value for the money we paid, but the B&B really needs refreshing and needs to be updated, and there should at least be a common area that guests can access to eat their takeaway meals, cook something simple, or relax. Perhaps think about setting up a living room-kitchenette area in one of the units that guests can access from 10am-8pm? With sofas, books, toys for children?
