Where to stay in Sanur
Sanur hotels & accommodations

Me and my partner travelled throughout Bali and Lombok during August and early September, this was the last hotel we stayed at and decided to treat ourselves to an expensive, swanky hotel. We had stayed in Sanur previously so had the chance to view all the large beach front hotels - the Puri Santrian was by far the most appealing looking. The staff were unrivalled in t...

We stayed at The Maya for a week, we had 5 days booked but after a not so enjoyable stay at another Sanur resort we decided to cut our stay short at that resort & move to the Maya 2 days earlier. I am so happy we did. It is so beautiful, tranquil & the service we recieved was truly 5 stars. We were lucky to be upgraded from the garden view to a pool view room which was...

The majority of the Sanur hotels and resorts were built 25 to 50 years ago and Girya Santrain was built in 1970’s however it’s been updated several times since but the rooms still have a dated atmosphere. The reason I mention this is because the majority of the beach front hotels in Sanur can’t be compared with the more modern hotels rooms elsewhere in Bali. It’s conte...

Its was my third time staying with Prama Sanur Beach Hotel. This time I visited with my six years old daugther. We had a blast. The hotel is a beachfront property with mini waterpark, kids club, and plenty of restaurant options within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It has plenty of gazebos, and places to relax. Prama Sanur Hotel ha...

Another wonderful stay at our favourite hotel in Sanur. Sumawan gives us great advise regarding our business trips to Bali not to mention the other friendly staff, Lintang, Ragan & of course Wirrik (i think thats how you spell it) who is always there to bring our coffee when she sees notices us sitting down. Highly recommend this hotel, best in Sanur...

This hotel was simply perfect for me and my girlfreind. The hotel itself was so classy in design, it was a thrill each time to walk back into the foyer and look at the art and the design - it really caught our attention regardless of how many times we walk through. The rooms were so big!! Everything was perfect in the rooms and it felt like we where special. There was ...

This mid size hotel in Sanur is excellent value for money. Perfect for families with children 6 + (under 6 children need a carer in kids club). Modern refurbished rooms, restaurant onsite, spa services on site, kids club with long half tube slide. 5-10 min walk out back gate to Sanur main shopping street or a couple of dollar taxi ride. Highly recommend if you have a f...

The Inna Sindhu Hotel is located on the beachfront at the northern end of Sanur. It is within easy walking distance to a wide variety of Restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, markets and local shops. Hardys supermarket is also within walking distance and you will be able get whatever you need there. The Hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens and has a nice Pool...

This is a new hotel in Sanur and as expected, the bedding was all brand new and so comfortable! The room itself was a nice size, great HUGE TV, massive bathroom and even a chair on the deck overlooking the pool with a drying rack (so handy). The staff here were incredible, so helpful and friendly, it was sad to say goodbye to them after a week. We ate at the restaurant...

On Agoda, this place is listed as "budget", but I really wouldn't consider it so. I've stayed at 3 different hotels in Sanur and Taksu is certainly my favourite. The rooms are large and comfortable, the pool is nice, each room has its own hotspot (so great Internet - very important for me), if you pay for breakfast it's quite good, the staff is super friendly, it has a...

The Bali Emerald villas are an absolute delight. We loved the spacious bedrooms and the living space is great. When we entered the two bedroom villa we were delighted with the way it was enclosed by high walls adorned with beautiful foliage. There was a housekeeper from 9 am until 4pm who was willing to do laundry, tidy up and help to prepare food. We were pleased that...

I have stayed at ARTotel at least 15 times in the last 6 months, it’s my first choice for a reasonably priced hotel in Sanur when I am diving there. The rooms are all quite modern and well equipped, the roof top pool is nice but can get busy in peak times. The hotel is only a short stroll away from the beach and there are some great restaurants nearby within a few hund...

The Regent is a recently opened luxury hotel in Sanur area of Bali, located on the beach at Sanur easily accessible from the airport (20 mins). The building has impressive design and architecture and is furnished with local type furnishings and artwork. The rooms are stunning with wonderful open vistas, from an ocean view suite. (note there are no beach view rooms – ...

Pros: Convenient location Helpful staff Nice pool Delicious and affordable hotel food Nice balcony Cons: Pool is too bitter. Maybe too much chlorine added? G/F bathroom can have a sewage smell at times Neutral Massage and spa packages were very affordable but not up to the standard. The hair spa I did left my hair coarse and dry. The therapist who did the hair s...

Kejora Suites is a beautifully designed new hotel in Sanur. It is in the main strip for shopping and a very short walk to the beach via a private back door. The colours in the room and brilliantly mellow and well complimented and the free nespresso style coffee machine is great! The foyer area is very well designed and leads smoothly to the pool area and up to the r...

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and I will go back again as soon as possible. The deluxe room was much better than any of the other Sanur hotels I have stayed in for the price. The 3 pools were lovely and 1 included a swim up bar and good value drinks. For us the hotel location perfect. The spa provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. The only ...

The Mercure Sanur hotel is a good hotel and most beautiful area in Sanur. we always stay there because all is in Mercure Sanur hotel is great. We like almost in there and we always stay there if we travelling in Bali..I have good and nice memory in the Mercure Sanur hotel special for my birthday at July, 29 last year..The manager hotel give us the room nearly pool side...

Grand Inna Bali is true to it's name. This Matron is spread over around forty hectares ( inclusive of golf course), along Sanur Beach There is the high rise: the Grand ( offering sea view rooms), then The Garden and the Resort with leisurely spread bungalows. There are few swimming pools, bars and restaurants to choose from. The Service is nice, swift and attentive. ...

This hotel is above all the rest when it comes to location, staff, food, amenities, price and quality. We've stayed at Kamuela Sanur 5 times and every time we return it feels like we're coming home. From the moment you walk into the reception every need will be taken care of and the food in the restaurant is 5 star at excellent prices. I believe the Nasi Goreng is arou...

Natah Bale is set just off the main street with 10/12 villas. Large rooms, indoor and outdoor living and dining areas. Swimming pool is quiet and relaxing due to small number of villas. Villa and surroundings were cleaned daily. Wide selection of food, good quality and very cheap. (Cheaper than surrounding places). Natah Bale collected us from airport for 150,000rp app...

We stayed in Villa Tulip June 2015 and was so impressed that we had to come back. This trip in March 2016 was just as enjoyable as the last. We had Villa 3 this time, slightly smaller than Villa 1, but for a couple or small family perfect. The staff as usual were always on hand and always willing to help out or respond to any requests. The Villa was beautiful and clea...

Very reasonably priced hotel in Sanur, the rooms are spacious, the pool is nice with plenty of beds and there is a pool bar. Location is good, on the quieter end of Sanur but there are still plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My only negative at this hotel was that there was no safe in the room, they do provide one at reception but it’s too inconvenient - for th...

I love the way the villas were designed. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with a private pool. Every staff member was courteous and eager to assist you. Free airport transportation was a plus. Ari Putri Hotel is located quiet end of Sanur. The hotel grounds are beautifully decorated with massive stone carvings and lush plants, which gives a very traditional and authentic feeling of Balinese arts and culture. During our holidays, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was big and airy. The location of this hotel in Sanur was easy to find and with...

Very nice small beautiful hotel of only 6 rooms. Very private. Very well located in Sanur, directly in front of the beach. There is a direct access to the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is OK but there are no facilities. Better walk a few minutes where you can fin sun-chairs and other facilities. Large garden and beautiful swimming pool. It is mentioned that ...
Cheap places to stay in Sanur

We had a very good time at Tjana and definitely recommend it to people who are budget travelers and need a safe, clean & friendly place to stay in Sanur. The guesthouse is located in a very quiet, small road and has a beautiful garden. It's in the Northern part of Sanur. The beach and the main road with plenty of shops and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away. ...

This is a budget hotel and small but very friendly and quiet. The pool was very nice and no competing for pool lounges. The rooms are a really good size. This is an older 2* hotel but excellent for the price and better service than some 4* hotels I have stayed in. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday on a low budget - Sanur and the Puri Anom Hotel is the ...

I had a great stay here! Rai and his family were very nice and happy to accommodate me, even when I showed up late. My room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom and hot shower. The internet in my room was pretty weak, but it was stronger if I just went downstairs closer to the router. Not a big deal. Ayu sweetly greeted me every morning and was happy to serve m...

2016 September - party of five; in three rooms; three adults, and two boys 13 & 12. We stayed seven nights. I have stayed here before, and was happy to return. In the meantime, renovations have commenced, and I was in a "new" room - much brighter and more modern. This is a small, budget hotel. Breakfast is basic but OK. Pool is small, but my boys enjoyed it. The two ...

One thing I’ve learned aside from constant research before embarking on a journey is to enjoy every moment. Original plan was to make Sanur our jump off point going to Nusa Penida. Since we had to accommodate certain adjustment, we scrape of our trip. Sanur in a way allowed us to pace our journey. We arrived late midnight thanks to inclement weather in Manila. The Home...

The guesthouse is well located, close to beach, Sanur main street and night market is 2mins by foot with lot of food stalls. The room is big and really clean with nice balcony with garden view. Bathroom is big and clean. The swimming pool is nice for a quick swim. It was a really good stay at D'astri and i booked it another time on my way back to Denpasar.

Many good things about this hotel there's Macdonald and pizza hut at walking distance, cross the road you can get your 3g internet card, free wifi, friendly staff. at the back there's night market, and a range of good and cheap food. Beach is just 10 mins walk away. dont expect disco and night club, i like it this way as it was calm and safe. Hardy's shopping mal...

We stayed 2 night, the room is clean and there is hot water too. The owner Ms Yani is very nice and helpful. the location is near to Sanur port only 5 minutes walking our flight back to Jakarta at 11:35 pm and she let us use our room till around 8pm without additional charge. will definitely come back again to this hotel soon :) thank you bu Yani

This was our 2nd stay at Jakung. Great value for money. Small but lovely pool, refreshing and clean. Breakfast served on your balcony. Down a small alley so may not suit everyone but only a few minute walk. Good laundry 100m away. We will be back as I doubt you could find better value for your money in Sanur.

Room was nice, clean and big and host was very helpful. The only problems we had was the smell from the sewage. We had this every time we ran the water in the sink or shower. We did use the spray provided but it didn't help much. The bed was also very soft and week causing back pains in the night. Also a lot of noise in the mornings from cockerels and cats and dogs. B...

Everything was awesome! Nice big pools, rooms equipped with kitchen for your cooking if you get bored of eating out. Nice bed and bathroom. There’s a local night market nearby if you want to try something different. However, being located in Sanur, there won’t be much nightlife around except for a few live band bars and sports bars on the next street. Area is mostly fo...

The homestay is from 10 min walk from the beach, in a quiet street. we went for the standard room and it has a very good size and also AC! the owner gives you advise where to go and we also got the bikes for free so that could do a bicycle trip along the beach (which is definitely suggested to see some more quiet parts of the beach). Sanur is a quite busy, full of rest...

actually i am stay in Semarandana Hotel with my mom, but there is no choice about this kind of traveller. i was arrived in this hotel about at 8 WITA o'clock, but i already noted that i'll late check-in at my booking at Agoda. i also request that i want the downstairs room because i'm with my mom and they gave me the studio downstairs room (studio flat number 6) as m...

Overall, place was good. Pretty good location, close to many restaurants, and walk distance to the beach. So much variety of kitchen appliances provided which is good! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends! Hoping to stay @breezetalk for my next trip! :)

Booked this place for one night, the host came earlier than the stated breakfast time to bring me some food so that I could eat before my taxi picked me up which was very helpful. The room also had a kitchen which was a great bonus, as well as a fridge, and a big water dispenser at no extra cost. It worked well for me as a place to stay for a night while in transit f...

The hotel is faultless, location is good not perfect for me as I like proximity to the beach. I rented a bicycle which is the best way to travel around Sanur. The hotel is very quiet apart from the odd rooster early in the morning (to be expected in Bali). Staff are very nice but could be more knowledgeable on where to find a Doctor and rent a bike. Wifi in room and fo...

I regret only staying 1 night at this wondrous resort!!! First of all, they offer FREE airport pickup or drop off (one way). The welcome drink and snack was delicious and they made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Second, the pictures of the villa is exactly what Klumpu looks like. The pool is beautiful for a swim in the day and at night. I really like the...

Great budget hotel in Sanur, the rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly. Good international tv channels and Wi-fi is good. I’ve stayed in 3 different deluxe rooms at the hotel, which are on the upper floor and had windows, were spacious with a desk and a safe to use. I’ll be staying here again in future.

This was our first pool villa stay and we absolutely loved it. The pool was a great size and the villa was enormous - and clean. The outdoor lounge and kitchen were very spacious and having our substantial breakfast cooked for us in our villa gave it a very ‘decadent’ feel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was very quiet and private and the night li...

Loved the location just a few 100mtrs from the beach at the south end of Sanur with plenty of restuarants in walking distance. The Samata is a beautiful hotel at the outskirts of Sanur. It is quite modern and has 2 beautiful pools. The staff is very polite and will to every favore you ask for. We’ve become regular visitors of the Pavilions and we absolutely love it. Can’t say enough about the attention to detail. This villa was outstanding! Very well maintained and laid out, gorgeous gardens and pool right on the beach in the middle of Sanur, we walked everywhere so close to awesome restaurants, the only downside was that we were not there long enough!! Thanks to all the staff-we loved it

It was more then we expected. Quiet location, it's good place to stay with family and children, you can safely swim on the beach because there are no strong waves in this area. Wow, did we have a relaxing time! If you want to enjoy the typical Bali - the way you imagine it - the Villa Zamaya in Sanur is the real deal. The Villa and everything in it is flame new (2015). We had our flight cancelled due to volcanic eruption and found ourselves stranded at Denpasar airport after a family holiday with children and grandchildren. The villa was big and comfortable. Loved the huge bathrooms. The kids loved the pool. Every room had its own TV and so did the living room. The staff treated us so well. 24 hour butler was excellent.
