Brand new guest house, 2 minute walk to the beach”

Samudra Homestay is a brand new guest house in a great location - 2 minute walk to south kuta beach. Great base for surfing the airport reefs. Very quiet and peaceful beach away from the hassles of Kuta. Friendly and helpful staff - free airport pick up - free wifi. Simple but tasty breakfast included. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The street caters to all: massages, shopping, tattoos, tailors, laundry, convenience store. It's a really nice little community and the locals learn your names pretty quickly!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here :)

Close to beach, airport, nightlife”

Very nice room, very comfortable. The staff was helpful in recommending things to do in Bali. Probably about a 5 minute drive from/to the airport. Very close to the beach and the rest of Kuta. Also close to nightlife. I wasn't there long and was barely in Samudra Homestay except for when I slept but I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend it.

Super nice and will surely recommend friends.Will stay at Samudra Homestay again if we visit Bali. The owners are very friendly and staffs are very helpful too. The fried rice breakfast is delicious. Not so crowded and congested along the street. Next to Lippo Shopping Mall (very big) with hypermart and things are cheap.

Nice and new”

we arrived quite late in kuta. we were welcomed with a bottle of cold water and shown to our room, which was a good size with a large flatscreen t.v. and a full size fridge. the shower was large and it was very clean. the location was just off the main street in kuta and was a 5 minute walk to the beach. the staff were friendly and organised a taxi driver for us. a family run homestay with a good atmoshere. we ended up staying longer than planned and the owner did us a good rate for the longer we stayed.

Staff very lovley, rooms very clean”

We only booked for the night as we were going to Gilli, The staff were very lovely, my mum had hurt herself (a vein had popped) and the staff supplied bandages and cream. They cleaned her wound and did not want any money for the first aid supplies. Breakfast was lovely and I would definately stay here again. It is centrally located at south Kuta. The rooms are very clean. Fridges in room which was a bonus in the hot weather. The only thing was it did not have a pool. Other then that, everything was fine and a good price

Lovely new hotel clean comfortable rooms.”

We were very surprised at the "newness" of this hotel and the quality of the furnishings for the price we paid. We would definately stay again, close to airport and other attractions and short work down gang to the beach. The only downfall is a large construction site operating next door but in having said that they did not start till 8am and finished at a reasonable time but if you plan hanging around the place for the day (which most would not) it is a bit noisy outside but inside rooms it is quite soundproof.

Nice and Average Stay”

The room is quite big, comfortable and clean. The bathroom/toilet is big, too. Except that the water isn't so clean. There are few sets of breakfast menu for you to choose. I chose the fried rice and it was tasty! The hotel is located in a strategic place. Many spas/salons nearby. Also, about 5 minutes walk to the beach. However its quite far from Hard Rock Bali. WiFi is marvellous. You can get the WiFi access in your room. Fridge is provided. TV is flat screen. Staff is friendly. All in all, I had a good stay.

New and clean rooms.”

We stayedonly one night. it is close to the airport but you do not hear any plane noise. The homestay is new, nice room, with big bathroom. We did not had breakfast because we left too early. they also provide transport service.

Lovely hostel, great location BUT”

A terrific homestay but slept very little due to noise in the very early hours of the morning. Staff were helpful but were unable to facilitate an airport transport when one of our flights was delayed.

great affordable place to stay would recommend to any one traveling on budget. close to surf spot on kuta reef.rooms were quiet and clean the staff were friendly and well presented all in all a great place to hang out

big room with great location”

stay for 1 night and the room is at the 2nd floor. it's a big room and would be best choice for family visit. the staff there were so friendly and gave their best effort to fulfill the needs. the hotel location is well placed in South Kuta. The traffic was not as bad as Legian/Kuta street and surrounding Kuta square.

i'm happy to stay at this homestay, they have clean room, large bathroom, an this is a budget hotel.. And i got airport transfer fo freem. That the most i like..this homestay near from mall and beach.. Easy to find food..

Convenient, local, friendly, and traditional.”

The staff were able to accommodate me during my late arrival to their guest house. I slept very well with proper air conditioning when needed. When the key wasn't able to open the safe, the staff were able to change my room with a safe I'm able to store my personal belongings; that is important for a tourist who wants to enjoy at the beach. There should be more variety of a local Balinese/Indonesian breakfast for the tourists to experience.

Value for money.”

Clean place, friendly staff, value for money, and they have motorbikes for rent at a cheap price too, so sightseeing travelers can rent a motorbike and go travel around the town. Centrally located means all the tourist hotspot are just close by. Free transportation to airport to, just inform them earlier and you can save yourself some cash on your journey back.

"Clean but not facilitated"”

I found the Home stay as a budget hotel which is located in an appropriate area for whom like to go to Bali for surf riding. Hotel was pretty clean but not too much facilitated, and I think is good enough for single guys like me.

Clean Comfortable Friendly”

The rooms are large and nicely fitted. The staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the place nice and clean. It's great they still have the choice of pancake and fruit for breakfast. Location is quiet yet close to the main centre. Highly recommend have stayed there before and will stay there again.

Great little hotel in awesome location ”

Great for short time stay but pick the room to the right of the stairs on the upper floor. They will put you in the smaller rooms unless you ask :) room is spacious and clean and great tv channels. Little noisy from the onsite bird and rooster and the traffic is a little noisy too but is bearable and for $16 incl breakfast is excellent value.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice courtyard. Breakfast was fresh and local cuisine. Room was a good size, TV with English language channels, a/c a bit cold and hard to adjust up. Friendly staff.

It is a very good hotel for family or group.Good services,near shopping mall & include breakfast.Just a bit problem that the door cant easily lock out,beside the room 11 bathroom door cant lock.Please fix it ya.If 10 marks i will give 7 marks for this hotel.keep go on!
