Best Ryokan in Kagawa Prefecture
Almost perfect except for its a bit far away from oboke station, but its free shuttle service to and from the station, even to another nearby hotel as in my case, got rid of the location problem. Once arrived in the hotel, the receptionist who i still remember her name, was so helpful not only explaining the hotel facilities and onsen usage, but also assisting us to pl...
Room was not clean. Onsen was disappointed.
It was raining while we were checking out. We had informed the front desk to book taxis for us to proceed to the train station. Instead, they had provided us a vehicle promptly to accommodate 5 persons (with 5 pieces of luggage) without any charge. Such a thoughtful and excellent services!
The best ryokan I ever stayed at, probably one of the best and most charming ryokans in Japan! This Ryokan might be little harder to find, but once you enter, you feel very welcome and 'at home'. The counter staff, who spoke very good English, are super nice, we walked down the lobby after dinner and he offered help to take a photo for us at the balcony for the Takamatsu night scene. The dinner, which was Japanese fine dining Kaiseki , was great as well, with ...
