A little remote from the city, but very worthwile”
Rumah Teras is a little remote from the centre Jogya, but is worthwile a stay. You can travel with taxi to the centre which cost you about 400000 rph. In return you get a nice place, not the hassle from the city, which is quit and clean. The staff is very helpfull and still know what service is.Breakfast, Indonesian style, is a delight. Every day a different dish. Two Course. Rumah Teras makes your stay in Jogya a pleasant one.You will like the pool in front of your room.

Nice staff, good air and condition, value for mone”
The staff was very kind to us when we come before the check-in day and ask to leave our luggage 'cause we have to trek the mountain in the night and can not carry all. They give us the room and don't count more for the payment. The room was very tidy, clean, the design is very good, give us the comfortable feeling, far away from the crowd. Although a little bit far away from Yogja centre, but it has a good position between 2 biggest temple Borobudur & Prambanam, if you have GPS and your own transportation (rent motorbike), you can find another way from Prambanam to Rumah Teras through the field and country village. It's a great place for living in Yogja for many days

I have a good stay for the first and second day. My family like Rumah Teras. But I got bad experience in the last day when I've got information that another person has booked the same place I booked. But, staff of Rumah Teras has solution for this, and I can continue my vacation.

Fantasic quaint hotel, great treatment +++”
This hotel is decorated beautifully. It's a quaint place that made me feel very welcome and i was treated very well. If i had a problem, the satff and owner made sure it was resolved and they went out their way to help. The room was very clean, tidy, looked great and very comfortable and spacious. A great price too. If it has one let down it's its location - out the way but nothing an ojek or taxi can't solve. 4 stars / 5.

Feel like my own home”
All my family are very happy with this hotel as such in their own home. When we were stayed here the staff are only three, but they are very very nice people. We love very much with the hotel concept, it's very peaceful and make us want to come back to this hotel again. And the more important is we get the cheaper hotel with the good condition:)

a nice place to have a getaway from the city”
it was a pleasant stay. the hotel is a bit far from the city center, it maybe more pleasant if you bring your own car. The area is quite, a perfect place if you want to find getaway and feel a different part of jogja. they still have paddy rice fields not far from the hotel. the only thing i can complain is the hot water, if only it can be stronger.

Choose the room near the pool (no. 1-6) and you will have a good view. Quiet and secluded, decent breakfast, room quite spacious with wood accent on the furnitures, but no locker in the room.
