Great hotel to stay”
Nice and friendly stay who were trying their best to make you comfortable. I will strongly recommend others to consider this hotel. To the hotel management, I will suggest the areas of improvement here. (1) I got hit by a nail on the chair in the room. Please have house keeping to check all the chairs to prevent a recurring incident to other guests. (2) The swimming pool wasnt clean for a few days, and I saw algae growing. Understand that my staying period was during the lunar new year, but it was cleaned later. I hope there is a regular maintenance schedule for the pool. (3) The food price in the hotel is a lot more expensive than nearby restaurants. Given that it was a raining season during my stay, I have to spend more. (4) The massage service in the hotel was not charging according to the pricing given, and in my opinion, not honest at all. Please look into this issue. Hope these all helps. Thanks.

Nice hotel with affordable price”
We had 3 nights stay at Royal Tulip Darmo. The location is good. The room was clean and looked pretty new. They had a mobile phone for the house phone. Just make sure you don't break it, otherwise you have to pay 3 million rupiah. The room has smart TV, which you can log in into your Netflix and Disney Hotstar account if you have one. But don't forget to log out. I'm not sure if the hotel will log it out automatically or not after you check out. I love that there is a Singapore Ice cream stall in the Concierge area. We bought it few times while staying there. The parking is the basement is OK, but quite small if there's event at the hotel. Only a slight problem on our first night. The AC was warm. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating and had to call front office to bring technician up to check on our AC. Apparently the AC filter was dirty, but it was quickly changed in matter of minutes. Another downside was the wall is pretty thin. We could hear from our bathroom when the kids from family next room screaming and talking, also when people were talking and walking in the hallway. Overall we had a pretty nice stay.

Room was super clean, the mattress could probably fit 4 of me (I think it was two queens combined into one), staffs were super friendly, and the price was great (for a five-star standard)! Breakfast was very complete as well.

Nice beautiful hotel with wonderful staffs. The room is great with very comfortable pillows and bed. Modern design and spacious. The swimming pool is wonderful with nice view but not that big in size. The only downside is the breakfast, needs some improvements. Overall it is highly recommended stay in this hotel.
