Good hotel close enough to the action of The Strip without the noise & high price tag!”
I stayed at Royal Resort in October for 12 nights on my own and I was pleasantly surprised. I returned with my parents in May for 13 nights and again enjoyed my stay. I guess each person has their own experience, but it was nothing like some of the negative reviews I'd read. I've been to Vegas 12 times from Australia and have always stayed on The Strip. But with prices gone up as much as they have in the past couple of years, there's no way I'll be staying on The Strip again! Most people don't stay in Vegas for as long as I do, so I'm very budget conscious. I found the price very reasonable & there are no resort fees here, unlike hotels on The Strip. The Royal Resort also has no casino so is pretty quiet. You occasionally get loud guests, mostly on the weekends, but I slept rather soundly!! The pool area is nice and the location is actually very convenient to The Strip. You can walk to Fashion Show Mall in a leisurely 10 minutes and The Venetian is a 15 minute walk away. If you don't fancy walking, there is the Deuce bus stop on The Strip a couple of minutes walk away and the SDX bus stop is virtually outside the hotel. Across the road you have Ross Dress for Less, Denny's, The Peppermill, Walgreens and 7 Eleven which was very convenient. The room has a bar fridge so I always had drinks & fruit at hand. There is also a coffee machine for those that drink it. The restaurant isn't open for breakfast but it is for dinner. I found the room to be quite spacious with enough cupboard space, albeit very dated decor. The bed was comfy enough but the pillows were far too flat for my liking. I slept with 2 on top of each other to solve the problem! The tv has cable channels but who goes to Vegas to stay in their room & watch the box??!! The bathroom was rather small, but it served it's purpose. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The staff was always friendly, the room was cleaned properly and although it could really do with an update, it was great for the price. If you're on

Exceptional”
Excellent value for the money and can walk to the strip. Also right near the busses that go down the strip. A days ticket can be purchased from the vending machine on the bus but you have to have the exact money as no change given. It just eats up the difference. Also if you are over 62 you can buy a half-price ticket at the terminals. The ticket covers all buses in Las Vegas. The pool was a decent size and the hot spa pool great as was big enough to float and had 3 strong hot waterfalls. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly.

The best hotel for your money”
This hotel was my choice after cancelling 3 other hotels. This is in a very good location on the strip close to Taco Elrado(busy 24/7) Indian restaurant, bus stops go all around the strip and about. Very friendly staff value for your money. I highly recommend this to anyone who hoping to go to Vegas. Walking distance to Belllagio fountain, volcano in Mirage, Fashion show mall and all casinos, also monorail. What else you need in Vegas?

Great stay near the strip.”
Being a solo female traveller, i was more acknowledged about my safety and location of the hotel. I had less time in vegas and wanted to stay close to strip to explore the area. This hotel is of good value for money near the strip while comparing to other hotels on the strip. A bit outdated but clean. Have a pool as well to beat the summer heat. The room was quiet big with essentials such as small fridge, dryer, iron and tiny tea machine. Will definitely come back again.

Great option for a Las Vegas stay”
This is a nice hotel for a cheaper stay in Vegas. It's a very short walk to the strip, it's quiet and the rooms are a good size. The staff are generally nice (esp the lovely lady who was working the day we checked out - I'm sorry I didn't take her name, she deserves a bonus!) although the night staff were a bit moody. It has a good pool area with cabanas and shady spots. There's a big Walgreens and some cheap and cheerful food spots nearby. Only complaint is the ridiculous $10 a day charge for wifi! It's the first hotel I've been in for years (including very cheap hostels) that charge for wifi , and a whacking great charge at that.

Great Stay”
I loved out stay at the Royal Resort. We were a little skeptical about it at first since the rate was so inexpensive but it proved to be a great deal. They were in a remodel and it we got one of the already remodeled room. It looked incredible. Everything was fresh and looked new. We had an issue with the TV but as soon as we called they had someone up in 5 minutes to repair it. We also asked for some additional items from the front desk and they were very nice and happy to accommodate. No casino made it great for our kids as well. The only thing I wish they had was more chairs and loungers at the pool. It seemed like there weren't that many people there and all the chairs were taken. Overall it was a great stay. We loved staying there.

Glad i booked”
My husband and I planned a budgeted trip to vegas (it was my first time) and I was kinda scared after reading the reviews, but for 25 bucks a night, I thought we'd give it a try. Check-In was a little slow due to computer problems but once it was fixed, it was quick. They were also very friendly. I requested a room on a high level and when we walked in we were amazed at how clean and roomy it was and the view was fantastic! It was also quiet at night. The pool looked nice and big but we didnt go in. Check out was quick and there were no hidden fees. 25 bucks a night for 2 nights was defenatly a great find. We would stay again.

3 year Anniversary getaway to Vegas! 😊 ”
The stay was very good,Not amazing by the price compensated for that. The reception was funky and cool with a ticket box for shows available right there. The pool was sensational and the private cabanas made for a great touch... The receptionist I think her name was Donyel 9/11/15 was hilarious and seemed like an an old friend she was great! The location was around a 20 minute walk into the middle of The Strip... The rooms are a little dated but its Vegas so we spent most of the time On The Strip and seeing shows so that was ok. But value for mine was fantastic it was a very quiet hotel and the staff made it a great stay... Would I recommend this hotel?.... Its not AMAZING but I absolutely would and I'd definitely stay here again as its a nice hotel good price and great staff.. Todd-Australia 😊

We were in Las Vegas for the ASD Convention the hotel is 7 minutes walking distance from the show. The public transportation to go to or from other hotels is at the corner. Good price. I recommend the hotel.

Vegas, Cheap and by the strip with a mini balcony that you can go outside on”
Right behind the Encore is the Royal Resort. I've stayed her about 3x over the past 10 years when I want a cheap get away. Ross and Walgreens are across the street and great for last minute purchases, walking distance. There are also a couple of food places, I hear El Gordo taco is good but the line is too long and an indian spot around the corner, not much food in the walkable area. I like the balcony, if you are a smoker, it's about 2ft wide and 6ft long, so one person can go out there comfortably. Note the balcony rail is super short, you can fall over the balcony - don't bring kids here, or a pet. Due to my vertigo I had to go out on the balcony and sit down, the railing is shorter than your hips. There is also a pool behind the hotel, it's clean and simple, great place to tan if you are hungover and don't want to get all fancy for a pool party. The place is clean and a good value. I would come back. Has a fridge too.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
It was a really good stay at this hotel in Vegas. We stayed there for 5 nights. Every night we were back to our room, it was getting very clean and comfortable, which enabled us a very nice sleeping night. There is a taco restaurant in the plaza near the hotel. We hated to have food there only the last night in Vegas, since the taco is really really good. Another good feature about this hotel is that it's near the strip, so that we can walk to have fun every day not even bother to take bus.

Best Price In Town”
I had a very good time while staying at Royal Resort. What I love about staying here is that we are so close to the Strip less then a block away. Also there is NO resort fees once you check in. That is a Plus*

Renovated rooms are very nice but with some of the old problems remaining ”
Floors 5 & 6 have renovated to a nice new look. However, why did they not just take the extra step and replace faucets and drainage. We were moved on our last night because our handbasin drain was leaking into the room below us. Some of the staff on reception have been in this place too long and should either find a job they enjoy, or change their way in which they interact with customers. Others however were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, the room was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Royal Resort !!

really happy with our stay and the price!”
My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday over Veteran's day weekend, and I was a bit skeptical since I spent so little for a room. I took a chance because I had read a number of good reviews and I had looked around on their site. (I have heard some negative feedback about pool noise, but it was closed for the season during our stay). For what we wanted, the room was perfect and had all the good basics (like a coffee maker). We really liked the games and bar in the lobby. We loved the fact that the Strip was so close; we had friends staying at the Wynn and it was no hassle getting over there at all. The staff was nice and held on to our luggage after we had checked out. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, close to strip, no resort fees & best value. Reception staffs are very friendly. ”
We are happy with location, charges & friendly staffs at reception but in the other hand, housekeeper did not provided soaps in housekeeping. That made us a little sad. Overall, we were happy to stay again if we plan to visit Vegas in future.
