Located in Marrakech, Riad Layla Rouge is just 200 metres from Jemaâ El Fna Square and the souks. It offers a rooftop terrace with sun loungers, a central patio, a bar and typical, Moroccan lounges. Riad Layla Rouge provides suites and dormitory rooms. With a colourful decoration, all accommodations have air conditioning and heating. You will have access to shared or private bathroom facilities. Great accommodation and amazing host!”
We stayed in a private room which was beautiful! The bed was comfy, the room was clean and the aircon was a life saver! Two rooftop terraces and a beautiful commu area. Towels and linen all provided and breakfast is included which is cooked by the most incredible host Abdullah. He is so very friendly and very accommodating. He will do absolutely anything for you! Anything you need, he will help you :) He even told us to give him a call if we were in the Medina and wanted to buy something to make sure we would get the right price! When all the shops were shut during the holiday, he went out and bought us all ice cold drinks, so we didn't over heat and he did that out of kindness. I feel like we have made a home here and a life long friend :) We would definitely stay here again :)

The Riad manager Abdullah treated me like an elder brother. His valued guide for buying stuff and food saved me a lot of money. Breakfast was really good. Nice accommodation for families too big rooms with attached bathroom. Highly recommended

I've traveled around the world and there are only a few hostels that feel like you're at home, this is one. The host, Muhammed, is the best. The hostel is welcoming, clean and a lot of fun.

Complete rip off merchant”
Didn’t even stay there for this booking after the treatment we received during our stay 2 days earlier where the receptionist ripped our friend off. He was obviously just banking on her paying for a 150dh taxi fare again after he took the money from her for it and then never paid it. He lined his own pockets from our stay, don’t let this happen to you, find somewhere else to stay. I can recommend Earth hostel as an alternative which was amazing.

Worst experience of our trip”
The guy working at this hostel conned us out of approx €45. He stole the taxi fare from my friend who had to return home early due to a family emergency, by taking the money from her and saying he had paid it to the taxi, which he did not, and then when we refused to pay the fare again he threatened us with changing the remainder of our fully paid up booking to a ‘no show’ status, in which case agoda would charge me again. He told us the fare was 150dh when in fact it was 60. We did not feel comfortable staying the remaining 2 nights and agoda would only give a partial refund, so in all we lost out on €45. I would not advise anyone else to stay here, unless you want to get ripped off and want to be kept up by the hostel worker chatting to his friends into the early hours of the morning whilst getting high on hash.

d sweets, given all the information about the area, things to do, places to see, followed by being shown your room and amenities. The entire Riad is beautiful, colourful and traditional. Great location and very good security. I stayed in the dorm room which sleeps 8, it was spacious and comfortable, though there is not a power socket at every bed, there are more than enough throughout the room and the Riad itself to charge all the things you need. Even the bathroom is gorgeous. The number one reason why I would recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone is the atmosphere. Every single one of the staff makes you feel like family, they will help with anything you need, any questions you may have. They will ask about your day and cook you a delicious breakfast. I booked extra nights here because I was so happy. 10/10 Layla Rouge, you made my visit to Marrakech memorable and enjoyable.
