We stayed at My Hotel this weekend and had a lovely time. Set in the centre of Brighton's quirky lanes, My Hotel is modern and comfortable with futuristic decor and bohemian art work. On arrival we were greeted by a helpful porter who assisted us with our luggage. The reception staff were polite and but could have been a little friendlier for perfect customer service. We stayed in a standard room with a wonderful window seat looking out at the street below. The bed was comfy and the facility's good. Though the hairdryer wasn't the best. With only a cool setting, styling my hair took much longer than normal. The mini bar area was stocked with a huge selection of goodies. We particularly enjoyed the complementary toiletries in the bathroom. Due to the location, we found it a little noisy at nighttime, but we both wore earplugs and slept soundly all night long! The hotel bar was modern and very cosmopolitan with a dj playing cool house music at a comfortable level. The cocktails were delicious and served by very efficient and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Myhotel and would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Being told because i did not book direct with hotel i must pay for car parking with add ons its not value for money paying your company a small under price reduction because it works out more expensive for customers you should let people no the true facts before they book to stop them being shocked by car parking price and extras for breakfast. Would you book this offer through your own web site very unlikely hidden extras made it more expensive is this the case with your over bookings??? This was my first booking with your company. Had a great stay at this centrally located hotel. Spacious twin room, spotlessly clean. Only complaint would be that there is no parking and I didn't realise this when I booked. There is a car park close by which hotel residents get a discounted £12 per 24 hour stay. There was some discrepancy between what the hotel told us about extra payment if you went over the 24 hours which we did and we ended up paying another £12 despite the fact we only we 3 hours over our limit. But the hotel itself was fabulous and I would definitely return.

gorgeous hotel, location on the seafront not too far from town, lovely decor, breakfast included was amazing. the room itself clean, tidy, comfy, excellent bathroom. really lifted my spirits from experience of arrival. (lovely service) what really lets the experience down was a guarantee of a car park, which was one of the key reasons we booked this hotel and the extortionate price of a body shop "garage"! it was cheaper to park not only on the seafront but even in a multi-story car park for the day! do not be fooled when this hotel tells you it has parking (suitable for a van). it has a slightly underground garage type of 'thing'. luckily we took the smaller car (which could barely be parked in the tiny 'bays') regardless of the fact when we enquired a van could easily fit, not true. i held my breath hoping it would come out unscathed! especially when i returned the next morning to find it had been re parked (you are required to hand your car keys in, as they need to shuffle cars to get a car out) i could ramble on unnecessarily. tight spot is not the word, luckily we have a corsa, a full sized average car would not have fit. moral of the story, do not tell your guests you have parking fit for a van when clearly you do not.

The hotel staff are 5 star. They are really friendly and helpful in ensuring whatever you need is done. They also give me tips of where to shop and what to do. I was offered the upgrade for 20 pounds to the executive suite which include the internet and so on which I took on. It was worth it. The hotel room is well design. Bed is big and comfy and there is a futon which can fold out to be a bed. The television and desk is rotatable which gives a huge flexibility to the room. Overall the design of the room was really well thought out. Location wise it is really strategic. Southampton Central Station is about 5 mins walk. McDonald is less than 5 mins and other restaurant and shops are within walking distance.

Brilliant location within walking distance to bars, restaurants & shops. Beautiful hotel set in an old prison keeping some of the characteristics of a prison. Our bedroom was beautiful, maybe a little bit cramped but not a problem but the bathroom could have done with a bit of updating both the shower & sink had chips/cracks in them. We had 3 rooms booked & it was only the room I was in had the issue with the bathroom, the 2 were fine. Would love to visit this hotel again but it is a little on the pricey side, so would need to save up!

Was exactly as it said! Great location, clean and comfy. Lovely breakfast hamper, such a great idea! Fab ensuite! We were at the very top of the house so it was warm but a big fan had been supplied so it was ok. The weather was very very warm so not really the hotels fault it was so hot on the top floor. Definitely wouldn’t put me off booking the top of the house again though! Extremely helpful information regarding parking, breakfast, check in and check out, everything answered so no questions to ask really! Look forward to visiting again, Thankyou

The Hotel was nice and clean and staff were very helpful and courteous, the only downside was due to the lovely weather we have had the bedrooms were unbelievably very hot and a fan was provided but far to hot to sleep. This hotel really needs to have air conditioning in all bedrooms and public areas. To sleep in conditions of 80-90 degrees is impossible. But generally the Hotel was fine,. Fir the future also a children’s play area would be a good idea especially as you have so many Weddings I’m sure this would be an added asset to your business.

The central location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of Oxford. A few minutes walk and you can be punting on the river, or in one of the lovely shopping streets, restaurants or bars. A bonus in the hotel is there is off street parking, although they do charge for it, but as parking is otherwise very difficult in Oxford, this is a great convenience if you have a car. The staff are very professional and friendly, giving each guest full attention. We would stay here again.

The hotel is a beautiful old, victorian building with a gorgeous marble staircase and stain glass windows, leading up from reception (there is a lift, dont panic!!). Its right on the sea and only a ten minute walk from Henry VIII fort and the D-day museum. The rooms have been modernised. There is central heating but no air con but they do provide electric fans. The rooms have irons, hairdryers and fridges. My bathroom was gorgeous. Black and white with chrome fixtures, loads of natural light and it was absolutely spotless. Believe me, I looked and couldn't find a stain, hair or bit of mould anywhere!! The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We booked the property a couple of days prior to arrival, upon arrival there were not setup as intended and we got an instant free upgrade to a suite! We were travelling with another family with younger children. The staff were accommodating and helpful, the pool was a real bonus and the breakfast was yummy. The rooms are big and specious and the view from our balcony was outstanding. We would love to go back.

We arrived after 6 so reception was closed but our roooms were left open and keys inside, we were allowed in via intercom on the door which I assume was linked to a remote "out of hours" reception - thankfully we didn't arrive too late! Lovely hotel and very high standard of finishes in the rooms, not one for stag/hen parties though as I was reading in the t's & c's that no such parties would be allowed to check-in and if if was discovered that you were you would be thrown out immediately with no refund. Which I thought was a little harsh as they needed to make their stance a little clearer when booking, pot luck with parking too. Free between 8pm and 9am and you can buy a permit from the hotel for the rest of the time but they can't guarantee how close you'll be able to park to the hotel.

A lovely hotel with a nice & clean interior and a brilliant location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and attentive. We had booked a superior sea view which was so nice! The bed was huge and view was amazing, as luckily we had booked a great day weather wise! Bathroom was nice, albeit a little on the small size, but that didn’t bother us too much (shower only, no bath.) Complimentary gin and sherry in room which was a nice touch. Spa was really good and quiet. A nice set up with it being underground and downstairs into ‘the cellar’ which was unique. Nice and dark, with big lanterns - very relaxing & peaceful. Couldn’t comment on dinner as didn’t eat there. Breakfast was ok - it seems you have to go early to get first dibs, as a lot of continental selections were empty. Felt the staff could have checked on this more often (fruit juice canisters were also empty). All in all though, really enjoyed our stay and will return!

Unfortunately we were not able to obtain connecting rooms, like we had last time we stayed, although no real inconvenience. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and accommodated us with the most of our requirements. The elevators were troublesome to not only us, with one elevator only working between the reception and lower ground floors and the other two elevators appeared to have a mind of their own, which resulted in lengthy stops up and down and sometimes skipping desired floor altogether. For example we entered elevator at ground level, selected floor 12, went up to floor 5, then upto floor 7, back down to floor 5 then upto floor 11, then upto floor 13, back down to floor 11, down to floors 7,6,5, back upto floor 9, down to floor 2, then back upto floor 12. Which was not much fun in a packed elevator without air conditioning on a warm stuffy day in Reading. Another couple that we met in the elevator informed us they had experienced a worse experience than ours and spent almost 20 minutes going between floors before finally arriving at desired floor destination. Quite bizarre and frustrating,. However this did not ruin our stay and as long as the problem can be fixed, we will definitely stay here again. Our kids loved the hotel and made good use of all the facilities, including swimming pool, game consoles and the excellent Wifi in the rooms. They also loved the breakfast and rightly thought this hotel was a few grades up from the Ibis hotel next door. (Where we have also stayed on several occasions), and is also owned by the same Accor group. Overall summary a good level in accommodation with a reasonable quality standard and great friendly atmosphere. Excellent location for shopping district and very nearby Railway and bus services to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Pity about the elevators and the air conditioning which both appeared to be struggling. I would recommend a friendly relaxed stay for families, couples or single guests alike.

It is a Hilton, so cleanliness and quality are up to expectations. While it is a little off Central Oxford (the object of our tour, Oxfordshire is not quite Oxford City, I learn), it was still a decent base from which to make forays into the city... and not quite sure if we could get a similar room for 3 people at that rate elsewhere in Oxford City. More importantly, for some reason, Agoda let me book an Accessible Queen- bedder when we indicated 2 adults and a tweenager... Luckily the staff at the front-desk noticed checking us in ( I had just driven a good part of 9 hours from Lake District, with detours, so i was tired)... and went about re-arranging and even swopped with another guest so that we could get the Queen Family room (double bed and 1 sofa bed) for 2 nights. Owe them a debt of gratitude. Would definitely recommend if transport is not an issue.

This is my third time in Brighton but the first time stay here. This is probably the best backpack hostel I've ever stayed in the UK. Perfect location, I can even see the sea in my room. Its a 6 female dorm, the room is big and clean. The private bathroom is the best part, modern and decent, totally hotel-standard. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I arrived at about 10pm and had some hot food at the lovely bar. However, there are only limited free lockers in each dorm, it provides more lockers(which need to pay but at a considerate price) on the first floor, these can be used even after checked out, its excellent for solo travellers. Will definitely choose here next time!

Beautiful hotel in a lovely picturesque location. The staff are very attentive and could not do enough for you. Everything was well thought through although we did not use the spa facilities or have breakfast. I will miss shampoo conditioner and body wash was provided in the shower (no bath in a room) but I would’ve liked to have seen a few extra toiletries in the bathroom i.e. body I will miss shampoo conditioner and body wash was provided in the shower (no bath and I room) but I would’ve liked to have seen a few extra toiletries in the bathroom i.e. body wash moisturiser ATC as per usual and hotels. We hadn’t realised it was a Britannia owned hotel when we booked as they have had some bad publicity recently and were a bit concerned. However the registration was a quick efficient friendly process which included opening a tab. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious with two beds and modern stylish furniture. We had lots of room and a sliding door to a small balcony with stunning sea views. A bathtub left room for a fair size bathroom which was clean and everything worked.
