Where to stay in Sinaloa State
Sinaloa State hotels & accommodations
Exceeded my expectations. Hidden gem on the marina of Mazatlan. Very family friendly for kids of all ages. Something for everyone and the staff is incredibly friendly and they show their enjoyment of their work through their smiles. We are planning a return trip next year.

La Siesta is nothing fancy, but it is clean and the location is great. From my third floor balcony I had a great view of the diverse flow of people on the malecon below, and I loved sleeping with the sound of the surf on the beach and the rocks.
This was actually our second stay in the Azteca in our current tour of Mexico; so the fact we went back is a strong recommendation. The hotel is very busy and successful, which is not the general case in Mazatlan. And it has a number of long-term North American residents and vacationers.
Good location
Mattresses need replacing, the sink was cracked, they need to get rid of the pigeons that are over the pool roof! Otherwise this Hotel was respectfully clean. Good cafe next door.
The only reason we stay here, because it is along our route. Unfortunately their are no restaurants nearby, this is an industrial area. Breakfast is limited to toast and jam. Safety here is also a concern to us.
This was our second stay at Hotel Posada del Hidalgo. It is a lovely hotel in a most charming town. If you catch the Zorro act you are in for a wonderful treat. He doesn't come every night. The hotel reeks of history. It's fun to just meander around all the nooks and crannys. It's not 4 star--the internet is sketchy (not in the rooms but in the lobby), the hot wate...
Great place to stay in Mazatlan
Lots of noise until 11pm and on busy road. Ask for a quite room at the back.
One night to get train to Copper Canyon. Staff arranged taxi to train. Only drawback was the typical Mexican mattress - hard.
No
The room was clean, staff were super friendly, free coffee + water at reception and pool was kept clean. We have it a 3 star for facilities because the wifi couldn’t reach our room (non-existant) and the hot water only worked once in our 2 nights/3 days there. If you enjoy walking it’s possible to walk to beach, otherwise it’s an easy ride. Close enough. We would ...
The beach and outside facilities were great. The room nice. The specialty restaurants were a disappointment and all the restaurants are mostly buffet. The quality of food was good. The elevator situation ruined the whole experience. Even if the "broken" elevators worked they don't have half enough capacity..
