Where to stay in Sihanoukville Province
Sihanoukville Province hotels & accommodations

I booked for three nights, but finally stayed 5 nights. Oldest hotel in Sihanoukville. Jacky Kennedy stayes here in 1967. Next to the main (original) building, they are building more rooms with balcony. Personally I prefered to stay at the main building, because you have the athmosphere of the old days... So after one night I changed from a deluxe balcony to a delux...

We really enjoyed our leisure time in this best in class hotel in Sihanoukville. Starting from private beach and tasty breakfasts to our room furnishing, service, fitness centre and spa. Personnel tries to do their best to ensure the top level of your rest. For example, receptionist Anna was always ready to assisst with any request. And our special thanks to Duty manag...

Hotel is fine. Good breakfast. Decent rooms. BUT Sihanoukville is being rebuilt for Chinese gamblers. There is mud - and dust - everywhere, broken sewers and noise of construction from 7.30am until after it get dark. OK if you are a Chinese gambler, not so good if you don't like the side-effects of casinos etc being constructed. In 2 years it will be a different town....

Fantastic resort with a beautiful beach & very nice bar & restaurant. We particularly liked chanrat, she was a lovely waitress and made us laugh and always asking how our stay was going. We took advantage of the happy hour, ginger martini was the best. We enjoyed the resort so much we stayed a 3rd night as couldn’t face the thought of having to stay in Sihanoukville th...

Arriving at the White Boutique Hotel was like finding an oasis in the middle of a vast desert (the long drive from Phnom Penh plus the acres of Chinese construction sites certainly made it seem like one). Once we stepped into White Boutique Hotel we were overcome instantly by a sense of peace, relaxation and warmth. The hotel was very well kept, the private beach was a...

Having escaped the construction site that is Sihanoukville the 40 min ferry journey (Company GTVC) drops you directly at the resort that can only be described as a tropical paradise. The hotel is directly on the beach where the warm water of the sea gently laps it. After nearly 3 weeks travelling this place is just what was required for some well earned R&R. The rooms ...

me and my girlfriend were enjoy pretty much on this beautiful island, they provided the best services for us, they even upgraded our next day room to the same villa as well. They given me little birthday surprise even my birthday is already over for 3days. The room is very big with excellent ocean view, we pretty much enjoy our time in the villa. Main pool with great i...

I was a bit anxious booking my way to Sihanoukville - concerned about transport from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. I noted that Beach Club Resort could provide airport transport ($60) so I decided to bit the bullet and go with them. I was not disappointed. I was met at the airport by a guy with my name on the sign and I was the only passenger. End of anxiety. The...

Stayed here for 4 nights last week after spending 2 nights in the crazy Sihanoukville and what i will say the Moonlight Resort is paradise. Wonderful postion on the best part of the beach on Koh Rong Samloem Island and most unique accomodation. If you want to stay in special accomodation stay here. The accomodation is beautiful looking eco-design dome bungalows lookin...

We were very happy with our stay at Sahaa. Sihanoukville itself is still in early stages of development for luxury accomm, so a lot is still backpacker hostels and starting to see big casino style hotels. So we were really happy with our choice of Sahaa which was a boutique hotel, which felt premium, personal and great value for money. The place is beautifully deco...

what more could we say...we simply had the best time in Sihanoukvile! From welcoming drinks -beers ( courtesy from the hotel owner) and been served right to us at the swimming pool, lovely roses surprises in our hotel room as my fiance just proposed to me! Imagine on a chilling day by the beach and delicious Fish amok only in Ren - yes !! the best amok we've tried in...

Very comfortable stay. We were afraid that since there was no AC in our room, it will be very hot. But it's not. The room is clean. The location is at the saracen bay which I think it's the better part of Koh Rong Samleom. It's about 20 min walk to Lazy Beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered us welcome drinks and arranged our transfer back to...

-Amazing location -Great view -Nice food, and very accommodating staff and chef. I always wanted my food to be customized and the chef did what I asked for her. She even cooked something for me which was not even in the menu, twice. -Bed in the cottage was a bit of an issue as in order to make it soft, they have put a quilt on the bedding which made me sink in every ti...

Everywhere is Sihanoukville is being developed, there is construction on every corner so this is no exception. That being said we would return and would book this resort again. Short walk to the beach, very spacious bungalows, huge comfortable beds with great pillows and amazing staff. The resort is still being finished but the pool was the best in the area., after c...

We are a group of 7 with booking of 3 rooms in Sea Breeze Resort, Sihanoukville for 2 nights. Upon checking in, one room had funny smell but was quickly changed to another without much fuss. The resort / room itself is clean and comfortable, but the road leading to the hotel were muddy and bumpy. Beach is only across the road, 100-200m away, one can sight beautiful sun...

This is the best hotel in Sihanoukville with great facilities, a very nice beach and great restaurants. The New Year eve dinner (included in the room price) was fantastic with great singing and fire show as well. The only drawback is that it was a victim of its own success, which meant long queuing at the check-in counter and at the main restaurant . There were a fe...

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff and so kind and provide exceptional customer service. The rooms are clean and bright with a beautiful view of the pool. Everything is brand new, clean and the breakfast was delicious. We loved the omelettes! Thank you chan boutique for the lovely stay in Sihanoukville.

I have stayed everywhere and nothing compares to the SECRET GARDEN. Upon arrival we met Saron who was nothing but friendly and helpful not just the first day but everyday. We ended up staying here way longer than expected and he did all he could to accomodate us and did a great job too. The bar and waitstaff are like no other-happy, friendly, smiling faces and great pe...

It was an awesome stay. For the rate of 40$ a night during New Year's time, it was definitely worth the money. Plus, they offer free pick-up to their property from anywhere around Sihanoukville area. Breakfast was good, although of limited choices. The location is okay, just a few minutes walk to Otres Beach, the quietest and cleanest beach in town. The swimming pool ...

Otres is the best beach if you want to get away from Sihanoukville craziness. We found isolation an easy beach walk away even on Cambodian New Years weekend. Good restaurant choices. The room was spacious and clean. Descent breakfast- good choice and plentiful. Would stay there again.

We would like to thank particularly the GM from south Africa who is so kindness with us. We come with my wife and my 2 young boys of 4 and 5 years old in June. After the second night, she offer us a better bungalow in front of the sea for the same rate we paid before because it was low season and one was available! I don't know if many hotels/resorts who will do that!...

Overall it was a good stay at the resort. The staffs were very very helpful and accommodating, especially Hayam. He’s stationed at the pool’s bar, very friendly and warm guy. He gave us useful tips on what to eat/do in Sihanoukville. The resort is not on the beach front, but it’s just a 2-3 mins walk cutting through another boutique hotel. Only suggestion would be t...

We had a suite and it was a really good size and very comfortable. The only downside was the building work going on at the hotel which woke us up at 7am. The infinity pool is fantastic, especially at sunset, as the hotel is located at the top of a hill so you get a great view of the whole city. The sky bar is nice for dinner too. Breakfast was decent from a western poi...

The hotel has a very long stretch of direct beach access, and that is the best thing about it. The rooms and facilities clearly need some overhaul. and there is constant building work for putting more bunglows onto the extensive grounds. For a 5 star resort the place is strangely soulless and lacks any attempt to give it a special feel. Staff is very friendly and helpf...

I would love to be able to recommend this hotel and area BUT there is major developments being built in the area and right next door to Harmony home. The building works does start quite early and the construction looms large over the quaint little place that Harmony is- you can get away from the noise by spending time on the fantastic beach just across the road from th...

The hotel was very peaceful. Sihanoukville has changed a lot in the past year, now there are Casino's going up everywhere. This place had a very peaceful environment. The pool was very deep (near 3m/9ft) and much larger than it appeared. The view from the room was incredible. The staff were very friendly. We will stay here again when traveling through Sihanoukvil...

The buffet had a little bit of everything. It was all very good! By far the best we have had in the last two months of traveling through Asia. The service was great but not the best English speakers...which surprised me because everywhere else we have stayed in Cambodia had excellent English speakers. Anyways wasn't a big deal but made for some difficulty. Also there i...

The resort is lovely, right on the beach with a lovely pool and air conditioned rooms. Breakfast is good except the coffee. WiFi works really well in most areas. Very good showers and clean bathrooms. The island’s going to be developed a lot over the next few years so keep an eye on dates of reviews. Staff were helpful with everything and kept the place clean. Our or...

I did lots of research before i went to Koh Rong samleom island but there wasnt much infomation esp. About hotels. I wasnt really keen on spending whole nights fighting with bugs and all sorts pf creatures so i didnt like bungalows. When i finally found secret paradise resort on agoda i wasnt sure if i should go cuz theres no website of it, or much comment or pics fro...
Cheap places to stay in Sihanoukville Province

My husband and I stayed at a bungalow and it was quite cool! Room and bathroom were clean and the location was perfect for going to the beach (about 10 minutes walking). What we liked most about Led Zephyr though was the adjoining restaurant's atmosphere, with great food and live music every night -- for those wanting some peace and calm, I would suggest staying somewh...

The hostel looks more like a luxury hotel. They have huge rooms, pool, restaurant, bar/club. The room (8 dorms) was really clean. Bed was confortable and big, absolutely clean, as in a 4star hotel! Room with excellent air-con and small window. They clean a room daily. There was only one bathroom/toilet in the room, but it was ok in that time, because everybody were on ...

This is the best place I've stayed at so far. You get the best sunset view & the best snorkling in M'Pay'Bay. If you want you can go for a swim by the cliffs, they got a ladder down there. And if you wanna go to the beach it's only 3 minute walk. This place is very clean. The bar got the best music and vibes, beer is cheap & last but not least - the staff is amazing! ...

I did not regret that I chose to stay in Onederz Hostel during my visit in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Aside from the fact that it is cheap, the staff are the best. They answered all my questions about Sihanoukville and they even booked my tour to Koh Rong Sanloem and my bus ticket from Sihanoukville to Siem Reap which was so affordable. Continue your excellent service!

We initially booked in for 2 nights, and stayed several more. You get the sense we aren't the first ones to do so. Staff are super warm and welcoming, giving you the right mix of space and chit chat without ever feeling intrusive. At the time of our stay, two French chefs on staff leading to some of the best food we had encountered not just on the island, but in Camb...

Had a fantastic time staying here. It’s a party hostel so it’s easy to meet people but the bar closes at midnight, and there are other spots in town to chill if you aren’t up for the noise. The boat trip was a blast, staff is fun. Not the cleanest but it would be impossible to really keep the sand out of everything. Well worth the money, I’d stay again. Lots of other n...

Don't expect too much luxury at Sunset Beach, but that makes it all part of the charm. Sleeping Trees offers hanging tents (fun experience!) which are located right in front of the beach (literally takes less than 10 steps to get into the water). We stayed at one and, although a bed was a welcome luxury after 5 nights, we wouldn't have wanted it to be any different. Fa...

M'Pai Bay wasn't superb big, and this place situated facing the sea, nearby the pier, easy access. Nice facilities with the price, we stayed in a bungalow, the only downside was the water pressure for shower is very low but that was okay, we still can enjoy our shower at the common bathroom out there. However, food selections wasn't the best, you can have better option...

The owner, Cameron, is a friendly guy and does his best to make you feel at home. His Khmer staff are great as well. Located on a quiet beach requiring a trek through the jungle. Though for me this was perfect. Food is probably the best on the beach, and at fair prices. Saw lots of people staying at other hostels come here to eat. Not much to complain about. Obvious...

I stayed here 2 nights in the beginning of Jan 15. The bungalows Its location is quite good, just 1-2 minutes from pier. Although the Agoda website shows that it's located in the sea, it's very easy to find it -- you just need to follow the trail. The bungalows are clean and new. Food is good and staff is superfriendly. In the evening you can sit and talk with the own...

I booked a bungalow for 3 nights here, seeing that it was on 4k beach. The beach is beautiful, and they have plenty of seating to enjoy the water and views. The bungalow itself was very nice, as well, although a bit pricey. In terms of overall experience, there are some very good points and some points of criticism. The staff was all very nice, and provided good drink...

Lonely Beach is a gem. It's rustic for sure, but feels like a paradise. As long as you are prepared for bucket showers, no running water, no wifi, and hot, muggy nights in the bungalow—you'll love it. A pristine beach, beautiful water for swimming (great for kids), snorkeling, a funky beach bar, and total relaxation. It gets very hot at midday—so we lounged and read bo...

Even if you don't get a bed , come over to have a drink with the great people hanging around here. Best sunset (well-known on the island) and good accommodation, everything clean and still in the jungle (but they're building a lot around). Prices are flashpacker level, but you pay for the atmosphere, too.

We really liked Paul, was a fantastic host. He was able to recommend things to do on the island as well as some good places to eat. There was always plenty of cold beer, it was a great place to meet people! Our room was spacious, clean and very fairly priced. We would recommend a stay here to anyone, when we return to Koh Rong we will certainly stay there again!

We stayed 12 nights and enjoyed every day. We stayed in bungalows, which are close to the beach but far away enough from noise. The bungalows are quite new, clean, spacious with a nice terrase. The personnel is very nice and arranging for different matters. The pier is just there so once you arrive the resort will be on your left. The small restaurant is just in fron...

I stayed in one of the bungalows and absolutely loved it. I booked quite last minute, so this was one of the only reasonably priced options left. It had a lower rating but I decided to take a chance. It was everything I wanted and I could not have picked a better place to stay. It is the perfect place to stay if you are a solo traveler. Staff are super friendly, and th...

inn the village is just as it said "inn the village" its a tiny little fishing town with charm. when i first got of the pontoon it was a bit of a shock, there loads of wood and tin house on stilts and garbage on the street. there is a really nice atmosphere both in the village (the village) and inn the village( the hostel). ten mins walk away there is coconut beach whi...

The staff are great, communicating right after I made my booking, my boat ticket and adjusting it when I couldn't make it on time. Constantly in communication. Special stars for Mr Virak and Mr Cheang, really good handling of guests. Location is ideal, but some may be bothered by the mangrove (love the sense of privacy it provides) and the natural 'dirt' that gets wash...

This guesthouse is on the main pier, just far enough down from the loudest bar. Rooms are basic with fans only and shared bathroom, though this is the standard throughout the island. Family run buisness with western staff to meet and great. We stayed over the Khymer new year and where welcomed to eat and drink with the hotel staff, local community and the island police...

“When you imagine paradise, this is it.” I stole that line from my wife-to-be, who uttered it about 20 times while we were here, but she pretty much summed it up. I said it myself a few times, too: wading into the bathwater-warm ocean at 8am with nary another traveler in sight, sipping a SunBoo cocktail during yet another cinematic sunset, and every time I plucked the...

Best of the best. Robbie-the owner and his family was incredibly helpful in every aspects. After booking Robbie sent me an email with details about how to get there & some notes along with his contact information. Make sure you call him ahead to arrange transportation upon your arrival at the main pier in Koh Rong. The taxi boat driver will be there waiting with your n...

I loved the place. It's located right on the beach. The food is really good and the staff are really nice and helpful. I stayed in the dorm room, witch was quite dark and the madras in the beds were very thin, but overall I could live with that. Next time I'm in sihanoukville I will definitely stay at everythang.

We stayed 2 nights here. The room was quite clean and comfortable, with pool access, so we can just open the rear door and go swimming. It locates in the middle of Serendipity, the most joyful zone of Sihanoukville. It's about 500 metres from the hotel there are so many bars and restaurant, the price generally is okay. We will choose this hotel if we come here for holi...

Kong Rong Sanloem is a beautiful island but more expensive than mainland Sihanoukville and we found that Saracen Bay was by far the priciest spot on the island and most accommodation was either resorts or hostel/dorms with a huge leap in price difference between the two. We were happy when we came across Orchid Resort, although it may not seem value for money in compa...

This hotel had only been open a month when I stayed there. Although its a little disconcerting to be faced with gaming tables on entry, the hotel proves to be well set up. The staff are very well trained and helpful, and the food is excellent. The Skybar may be the nicest place in the area. There's still a couple of teething problems - my windows leaked a little with ...

This is probably the best choice for staying ways from city. As the price benchmark in Sihanoukville city is increasing incredibly higher than ever and it is still growing up. This hotel can offer a comfortable hospitality within an affordable price. The breakfast is nice and cool and the pool is cute and lovely. The guards are nice and easy to use an App for a Moto-ta...

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms. There are cheaper places to stay in sihanoukville but this place has the perfect location on the beach with a great bar! Rooms were clean (sand does tend to get everywhere but that's to be expected) and staff always greeted me with a smile. Will be coming back here!

I had a room on the 2nd floor without the balcony but overlooking the swimming pool. Hotel has no lift so you have to carry all your luggage up the flight of stairs. Room was comfortable and cozy. Hotel location is close to eateries and beer bar complex. In Sihanoukville casinos are a stones throw away mainly servicing the Chinese but the beaches are white sand wit...

Like many reviewers of this place I booked the garden view room and was upgraded for no charge to a pool view room. The three best things about this place are its location to Otres 2 (5 minutes walk, best beach of Sihanoukville), the complimentary breakfast buffet, and the pool. And it should really go without saying since it's in Cambodia, but the service was of cou...

The boat ride from sihanoukville to this island take about 45 minutes and we have a smooth check in process. We were given a side by side rooms and this is really convenient since Im travelling with kids. The place is so beautiful with a river flowing into a pool . so basically you will have a sea and a mountain water swimming pool ... best experience. The room is cle...

Golden Sea Hotel & Casino is located in a calm area of Sihanoukville, however it is just walking distance to the nearest Victory Beach. All other famous Beaches such as Ocheteaul and Serendipity beach , Island Beaches are just 10 minutes Tuk Tuk ride. So your choice of staying at this property is truly a good idea. Hotel reception is really great as they are truly o...

Located just right off the pier this hotel offers unblocked sea views unlike others that are tucked way behind. Room is clean and well-maintained like new - wooden parquet floors, double glazed balcony windows to minimise noise especially from the beach bars after 1030pm. Price is good value for a supposed 4* hotel in Sihanoukville in comparison to what I see in the ar...

One of the value for money hotel in Sihanoukville, walking destinate to the beach front and lion round about where the happening night life. They have their own private area with restaurant and bar at the Otress beach, do ask the lobby staff for more information, they will arrange a transport to send and pick up. We spent almost a day at the pool side, they provide ple...

I travel to Sihanoukville quite often and I've stayed at the Moon Julie several times. It still has one of the best locations in town, clean, large rooms, and a friendly and professional staff. It's still my favorite Sihanoukville hotel but I did notice that the breakfast buffet didn't have near as much to offer this trip than in the past. Still I'll be staying here...

This establishment goes by several different names, Busaba suite @OC Boutique, OC hotel and Thaiyang Chhen hotel. The photos showing a pool with a nice garden are over a year out of date and the pool garden now has a half built casino on it. This encroaches within a few feet of the pool, so the photo of sun loungers all down the side is total misrepresentation. The ...

We spent one night in this hotel for our honeymoon. The swimming pool and poolside were clean and quiet. Excellent for a cosy and relaxing time for both of us. Staffs were helpful and friendly. The room condition was fair only as the floor of bathroom didn't seem to dry completely and our air conditioner was not working perfectly ( every time we returned to our room, w...

Very good indeed. Brand new with lovely rooms and pool area. The Tuk Tuk drive found it hard to find and it is in an odd but good location. Odd as it is down an unmade road coming from either Ochheuteal or Downtown. But it makes for an easy walk to either. You get to see bits of Sihanoukville that you may never have found due to the hotels location. Staff really good a...

We were put in the wrong room and breakfast was a disaster, we ended up going to the next hotel for an awesome breakfast. The owner gave me back $20 on his own accord and sincerely apologized for our difficulties. The hotel on any other day would probably have been a better experience. I do recommend this hotel but communicate with the owner for best results. Th...

We enjoyed our stay here. Within walking distance to restaurants and a quiet beach. Otres 1&2 are a $3 taxi away. Pool is nice. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, although it's best if you speak some French because most of the staff does't speak English. They were really lovely though.

Queenco is in Sihanoukville. I was working there for about 1.5 years in that area. It was a nice place but sadly, it has become a "China" town. The Cambodian atmosphere is diminishing. Queenco is pretty good but have second thoughts to visit Sihanoukville again.

Moha is a sub-set of Sokha Resort and shares facilities with it. (breakfast, main pool, restaurants). At double the price it offers exclusive villas with additional pools available just for the Moha guests. Not much to tell. Very basic room with a big bed, small fridge, hot water shower and a/c. Lock up and security for your rental Moto. You need to get transportation to the beach or restaurants but are close to the bus station, banks and the main markets.

The room is cheap (cheaper if you book in person) and the bathroom is clean. We stayed in the village which is a short walk to the beach and only a 15 minute walk to the beach bar/ restaurant area however they do offer a free shuttle service to the beach bar and back! What really made it was the frieldily family who run it! The only thing that could be better is chang...

As advertised a very basic bungalow with a bed, fans, bathroom. We would recommend a stay here to anyone, when we return to Koh Rong we will certainly stay there again!
