Where to stay in Metro Manila
Metro Manila hotels & accommodations

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Manila. From the lobby interiors, to the room, and even the staff. All worth it. Very accommodating and customer-centric as they delivered a birthday cake to our room because it was a post-birthday staycation, and the front desk even went up our room on our behalf when we forgot something upon check-out. Housekeeping was also v...

Overall a great hotel! Fantastic rooftop bar with a bird’s eye view of Manila and I love the infinity pool as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were specious and clean. According to Google map, the distance from the airport to hotel is approximately 21mins. However, jam in Metro Manila can be quite bad and it took me 1.5hours to reach the hotel, which w...

Conrad is strategically located to the airport, shopping mall and restaurants. It takes 15 mins to the airport by Uber or Grab (because of the SKYWAY), which is awesome considering the traffic in Metro Manila. A bridge connects you to Mall of Asia (MOA needs to improve; not the fault of Conrad). If you want to get everywhere I will tell you that you will be stuck wi...

Great location if you have a flight booked at terminal 3. Since traffic is worse in Metro Manila, you can take a short walk towards the airport right across the street if you don't want to miss your flight. Room is nicely repaired though I noticed a small stain/dirt in one of the quilts, be booked a room with 2 single beds.

I love the fact that the toiletries in the bathroom is very much complete. (shaving, sewing kit, comb, toothbrush,q-tips, cotton pads, etc). The balcony has a coffee table and two chairs for guest to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The bed is very comfortable. Staffs are friendly and it is close to the biggest mall in Metro Manila. It is called Mall of Asia.

Overall we had a great stay at the Hyatt City of Dreams. There was a minor issue with our room and the Assistant Manager at the Front office: NELYSSA BERNARDO was exceptional at handling our concerns and taking care of the situation. The customer service was well deserving of 5 stars. and we really appreciated all her hard work. The rooms are new, modern and very spa...

I would like to compliment the person at the reception who upgraded us to a pool view room when he learned that I will be celebrating my birthday in a few days. It wasn't necessary but he did make me feel special. Room is spacious and clean. Location is very accessible to the airport and to provinces in the South of Metro Manila via NAIAX and Skyway. Although a bit m...

Great location and next to shopping mall ( SM MEGA MALL ). Very convenient for shopping areas, transport availability , nearby Metro Rail System terminal, GRAB transport, taxi's... Hotel staffs were friendly and kind. Always assertive and professional in nature. A's for them ! Prices for rooms depends on where you make reservations..$$$ +AGODA ONLINE ..$$..with Brea...

Awesome place to stay, but late check in and hassle getting to and from other attractions in Metro Manila area may play havoc with your plans. No taxi driver would take us back to Makati from Ocean Park until about 9 o clock leaving us high and dry in Ermita for three hours! Ouch

This hotel is unbelievable - they were not only cheaper than others, but exceeded our expectation with flying colors! They have a very welcoming atmosphere, they upgraded us twice and on another occasion they were the only hotel allowing our 17 years old son travel by himself checking in with no adult present, while all other Manila hotels denied him. The rooms are ver...

This hotel is truly magnificent! Its prime location, stylish design of the pool, elegance of the newly renovated suite room and balcony that offers the stunning view of the Manila bay. The food either at Spiral or Club Mellissime is great. One of the best hotels in Metro Manila. Many thanks to Ms. Ella Navarro (Assistant Manager), Nikka and Morrise for their hospita...

I booked a 10th Floor Grand Bayview Corner Suite for one night at Solaire. The staff are highly trained Filipinos who are very polite, accommodating, energetic, sharp and they seem to love their jobs. Excellent Management. The room was very spacious, with two (2) large Flat Screen TVs, Long L-Shaped Leather Sofa, Las Vegas Style Bar, King Size Bed, Digital Safe, Wri...

Lovely period hotel that has been renovated. Rooms are spacious and well kept with the bathrooms modernized and in nice condition. The location was for me ideal as I required the services of the US Embassy directly across the road. A nice walk across the park to the "old city" of Manila with its period architecture and cathedral. The staff at the Bayview are very helpf...

Staff are friendly, good location, clean rooms. If you are okay with a loud air-conditioner then you are okay to stay in this hotel. We asked the maintenance to check it, all they did was to clean the filter and said that is the normal sound of their air-conditioners. Compared to other 5star hotels we stayed in Metro Manila, their air-conditioners did not sound like th...

My parents stayed there. They liked the room, which is quite spacious compared to some hotels they stayed in Singapore, and reasonably well maintained. Breakfast is quite good, with a wide selection of food. My 6 yr old daughter enjoyed the swimming pools there, even though they are not very big. The location is great for us, as it is near our condo, and within walking...

The location in Makati is unbeatable. Short walking distance to the Greenbelt, Landmark, and Glorietta Malls. Wireless internet is now available in all rooms, but is expensive for six hours and expires two days from first use). Breakfast was delivered promptly every morning. The guest room attendents were responsive and friendly. The security at the front door w...

Tune Hotel is a brand new budget hotel in the Makati area in Metro Manila. To my surprise during my stay, it was opened two weeks before I arrived there. The staff was very nice and attentive. The room was small but adequate for two people. Everything just felt new. You can still smell the construction because it's still ongoing at certain parts of the hotel, mainly th...

Metro Manila has a tremendous amount of traffic, getting anywhere takes a lot of time. The location of the Diamond was closer to the tourist destinations that were of interest to me - Intramuros, Malate, Ermita and the ferry to Corregidor Island. Walking the area around the hotel requires an adventurous spirit...some travelers may not feel comfortable with the "bohem...

My first stay a the CGG in Makati Ave. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with a huge king bed and good fittings. Great bathroom with separate shower... loads of hot water too. The in-room WiFi was excellent - fast and stable. Have a nightcap at the cool and stylish Sky Bar on the 32nd floor to take in the amazing views of Makati, The Fort and the great...

My wife and I were so busy with completing end of the work projects we didn't make Holiday plans in advance so we booked a last minute stay at Makati Diamond. We've booked other "staycations" before in Metro Manila and this time was more memorable as even though the hotel was packed due to Christmas, their stay was very courteous, friendly and helpful. They were very...

In all of the hotels I've been to in Metro Manila and perhaps the whole Philippines, Pan Pacific has the nicest staff. Everyone, and I mean all of the staff, was very polite. There was always someone to open the door for me almost every single time I enter or leave the lobby. They only missed one and that's very forgivable. In terms of the courtesy of opening doors, I...

This Egyptian owned property is adjacent to a major chain shopping mall and is within walking distance of Metro Manila trains and other transit. Although the gym could use an elliptical machine, the old equipment is well maintained and the pool is extremely good for an urban hotel. Breakfasts are ample and the staff have been exceptionally kind - even to a point of all...

Staff: It's best asset from the entrance where guards were very respectful and courteous while properly checking guest bags. They were also very helpful in directions. The front desk personnel were very accommodating and friendly. The personnel who knocked on the door were courteous when asking for any needs. Escolta and the gym also had friendly personnel. The food i...

the hotel was just a few mtrs. away from naia 1 & from moa. it was a small hotel contrary to those who are situated in other areas in metro manila & makati but the room is quite enough for 2-4 persons + 1 who can still sleep in the divan near the window. we just don't know if they charge for extra persons who want to stay in 1 room. anyway, we found our room cle...

Our stay in this hotel is quite an experience. Just like what is stated in my review title, this hotel offer more than a 'staycation'. It has a Karaoke hub, a bar which overlooks the skyline of Metro Manila, a fine dinning restaurant which serves one the best steak I ever had and of course the water spa. Definitely this will not be my last visit to this hotel.
Cheap places to stay in Metro Manila

In this review I'd like to give credit to the people who work in this hostel and do their best to offer cheap accommodation to people who can't afford anything else. This is not a place for travelers, unless they are on a really tight budget. The dorms are crowded, there are children crying every now and then and the light will be switched on and off even after midnigh...

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is good. But the location is poor. My taxi driver had trouble finding it. There are no decent restaurants nearby. No sidewalk so you have to walk in the street. That's not a problem on a secondary street, but it's a real danger on a major thoroughfare. I booked for two nights and left after the first night. I wi...

I was really skeptic about getting to 8Hostel. It is because I read so much negative reviews. However, I went ahead and booked the place. I told myself you get what you paid for. But I was wrong. The place is really nice. It is clean,. Daily cleaning service in the dorms. Plus, you can ask a towel or anything that the facility is supposed to provide and they will bring...

we stayed for 2 nights and 2 days... this is just a suggestion especially for a group of people who is going to stay in the hotel. having an active outlet should be available. 1 socket available for 6 people in one room is not enough as we need to charge our phone and all. I cant understand the point of view of having a wifi access only in the ground floor. Why peopl...

What I like most about the hostel is its central location and the friendly and accommodating staff. It is situated within Makati City which is one of the best places to stay in Metro Manila in terms of safety and location. Just a 5 minutes walk to Rockwell Mall and 10-min walk to the Metro Rail System (metro). I ended up staying 2 more nights in the hostel. Con: th...

Correspondence of the staff is great. Five minutes and access are good by car from an Manila airport. The best location that can go to a shopping mall and all facilities even on foot. The room is clean, wide, then this hotel is newly in Manila for backpacker hotel and is comfortable. The wifi connection is good, and the cheapest in a hotel of the Makati I think. I love th...

I m not the type that sleep in shared bathroom hostels, but this time, the price was one of the best on Agoda, so I went for it we took a private room for 2, so not shared room, but only shared bathroom. The room was ok, nothing fancy, but good ac and good enough bed and the shared bathroom was clean, and good hot water. We met some other travelers, and at night, th...

I have stayed at "Our Awesome Hostel" now twice, and cannot say enough good things. First, the staff are terrific. Ralph-Ralph the manager is always willing to answer any questions, or help you with whatever you may need done. Whether it is ordering food, a cab, or travel to you next destination, the staff is extremely helpful. The same can be said for Sir Adam, w...

Don't judge the book by its cover. Building may look old but the world-class filipino hospitality inside of the hostel (nanay especially) is/was/will be superb. They gonna help in all possible way whether travel or life issues and concern. A great place to stay in the metro if you're looking for a decent and well-connected environment. Will definitely come back.

Clean and large room, large bathroom, and there is even a sink, cups and boiler! Feels like a studio. Very welcoming, helpful staff and genuinely friendly. I stayed three weeks in manila and this is the best place I stayed in. Location is great, safe, plenty of options to eat and a large supermarket 50m across the street. I recomend the Vietnamese restaurant in Madison...

The place is a small hostel. However everything was nice from the staff who wil take care of you to ensure that everythings well. I recommend staying here since they helped me pplan my tour around Makati and Manila. Place is also near the pub district which is good if you want to see Makatis nightlife

Location is perfect, inside the famous Makati night life but away from the noisy bars/clubs. My friend and I took the 6 bunkbed mix dorm. The bed is okay just the room is too small and they should also put curtains on top bed for a bit of privacy. I saw small lockers under the bed but lock is not provided (not sure if it should be asked to the reception or bring your ...

We booked our room about 4 hours before arriving yet when they took us to our room the bed and pillows had no sheets and the trash had not been emptied. They told us that they did not expect us to arrive so soon. I was personally disappointed by that because I was sick and just need to get into bed right away. Anywho they brought in sheets and we helped the hotel staff...

Having been to Manila a few times and stayed at some of the worse hostels, this was a breath of fresh air. The location isn't the best (unless you love drinking and shows) but the guesthouse itself was perfect. It was clean, spacious and the staff were great. There was free breakfast (delicious bread/ jam etc) every morning. Close to the guesthouse was a free skydeck...

The air conditioning takes time to work. the place is clean and the location is good. it is situated near rob manila where you can do your groceries. it is accessible to a lot of transportation routes. security outside the hostel might be questionable

this is my favourite hostel in Manila. I have stayed 4 or 5 times over the years and also recommend to others. the dorms are great, with curtains on the bed and lockers for your stuff. High quality pillows and mattresses too. Living room and kitchen area is small and simple compared to other hostels in Asia but by Philippines standards(which are generally lower), thi...

this plave rolls under melting pot zen rooms good shepard prices vary for same hotel ,you just get moved to differ side hostel ....good shepard side seems to be more expensive with rooms have slightly.better finish but not massive difference to explain differenxe in price wifi on good shepard side is non exista t u are forced out in common area which IS A SAUNA!!!!...

I had a roomie who is staying in the hostel for a month and she had food in the room, kept AC remote for herself and keeps the lights on all the time. Please advise guests upon arrival to be considerate of others. I had a bad experience because of her inappropriate behavoiour in the room. I did inform the reception. Since i stayed for two nights. First night i let her ...

The place was great and overall clean. Facilities were nicely decorated and well taken cared of. It has a hang out room with a pool table at the top and a pretty nice bar on the second floor. The staff was super friendly and helpful, for example the first night the AC was a bit too cold for me, told the receptionist and got it sorted out. There was only one thing I di...

Whenever I am traveling alone in Manila, I book here at Junction Hostels. Good price, excellent WiFi, safe, and clean. In the lobby, I can pick up a cold drink and continue my marathon writing assignments. I keep coming back for a reason -- and you will, too.

I fly to Metro Manila once monthly for work and can’t express how happy I am to have found this place... Originally booked 3 nights but stayed 2 weeks! Staying in Poblacion, Makati is super convenient for getting to/fro airport (9km, ~30 mins by Uber and around the metro)... it’s a safe residential area that’s becoming the go-to party district for expats, backpackers a...

Amazing experience! I rate this hotel @ 9.5 . The hotel's cleanliness is superb (previous guests comments online was right); very, very friendly staff (Filipino hospitality at it's finest) at the same time professional; food in Copa De Manila was great and fresh; lobby's design on the floor is very attractive (that's what attracted me the most when I was choosing the h...

Stayed in this hotel for three times already, and I will definitely come back again . The location is good, just across NAIA terminal 3 (they provide a free shuttle bus every hour from the airport to the hotel. You can find the buses at the arrival gate at the ground floor of the airport). There are some restaurants around the area, spa, nail salons, dental clinic, ph...

We were keen to try the Novotel so combined an overnight there with Gary V's concert at the Kia Theatre. Check-in was smooth and efficient, we were upgraded to a lovely deluxe room and the 15th floor and the room itself was lovely, comfortable and chic. The hotel restaurant was good and the buffet breakfast was excellent, one of the best in Metro Manila. The only ne...

This hotel was more than what I expected. My family and I arrived at this high end hotel dressed and looked like we dont belong. Prior to our arrival, we were stranded at Siquijor island due to a scooter accident. We were only there for a day trip so all we had were the clothes on our back and a swim suite. so we pretty much caught a 0600 ferry back to Dumaguete fo...

I do not understand, I have submitted three reviews for this hotel. I checked my account through Agoda last night and it says that nothing was submitted. This is terrible I poured my heart and soul into those comments ranting and raving about how good this hotel is... Sigh, internet... Ok the hotel is one of the best! Brand new, Staff Awesome all around, great breakfas...

I am a hotel supplies supplier for Sofitel and Manila Hotel who has travelled extensively for business and leisure and staying regularly at IHG, JW Marriot of HK, Shangri la Hotels and Sofitel Hotels among others, I could say that Aruga by Rockwell never fails to impress! We picked the perfect hotel for our 4 night stay in metro manila. not too big nor too small, there was a personal relations established with most staff. breakfast was really good and varied and all staff we encountered were efficient, helpful and attentive. cleaning staff were among the best in all our travels.

Coming from the jeepney infested FB Harrison, entering the Henry Hotel is like traveling to another world, suddenly calm and relaxing. The beautiful greens of the majestic trees and lush gardens almost hide and protect you from what's outside. The old manila architecture of the "villas" are so well done, and hidden beneath are security and convenience tech. Romantic an...

the address of the hotel is very accesible to anyplace in metro manila and from the airport.the best thing i like most is the access way to the mall. the hotel staff are friendly from receptionst to housekeeper.they are all accomodating. i'll take holiday inn again in my next vacation holiday

Rooms are clean, comfortable and good value for money. Staff are very friendly. Pool and fitness center are good as well. Overall it is a 3.5 star experience. It would have been 5 stars, but the food is straight up average.... As in 2.5 to 3 stars average. Breakfast buffet is relatively sloppy with almost no variation from day to day. The in-room dining is much the s...

Richmonde is located in the business hub of Ortigas, which is a great central area in Metro Manila. While it is very accessible and close to major roads such as EDSA and Shaw boulevard, it is tucked away nicely on a quieter secondary road, which I like. The area is generally safe for visitors who would like to walk around and explore. There aren't a lot of tourist dest...

the hotel was very new and definately of a 4 star plus standard. i stayed three nights with my wife and found the hotel has quality and prestigious features making a comfortable stay. the bed was by far the best feature, so soft with a pillow-top mattress, feather down doona and pillows to die for. the hotel is within a mall which has some great restaurants all ...

My husband wanted to stay in a hotel within Chinatown despite having a house within Metro Manila. He wanted the accessibility a hotel can afford. Although Ramada Manila has very little parking space, we were still accommodated. Given the Christmas rush, we knew that driving towards anywhere is a nightmare. As such, we walk going to Divisoria and our usual hunts wi...

I have been in many hotels in Metro Manila. Cocoon Boutique was the most agreable one, with the most friendly staff, except the lack of a nice bar for a drink in the night, but they serve you on the roof terrasse where it was easy to meet and chat with other customers. And of course Quezon city is not as close to the airport as Malate what in Manila can be unconfortab...

A small minimalist yet functional and pretty boutique hotel in QC just right for a quick weekend staycation with family and friends. When I travel to a new city and not sure about the standards in hotels, I prefer to go with mid-range hotel chains, like Mercure for example. Mercure Manila Ortigas facilities looked much better value for price than most hotels in this price range and area - comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities. The hotel occupies some of the floors in a tall business building, s...

this was one of the best hotels that i have stayed in when visiting manila. compared to other four star plus manila hotel properties, the quality and the price are good. the rooms are clean and modern. situated next to the ocean park aquarium complex, many rooms have an aquarium wall. it is fun and relaxing to watch the fish swim past when lying in bed. this is a uniqu...

We were very happy to spend my wife's birthday at Vivere. We even got a few surprises when we arrived there - a room upgrade, and a birthday cake for my wife! The room, services, facilities were all excellent. Their staff are very accommodating and we had a great time. Definitely one of the best hotels in Metro Manila.

This hotel meets all the 5 star expectations for accommodation. But is simply off the charts in terms of genuine customers service, organisation and helpfulness. I was on an art buying trip and not familiar with Manila. I used concierge, Tristan and a few others who I unfortunately do not recall their names. I was helped with everything from a hair salon to art galler...

Housed in the tallest building in all of the Philippines, Grand Hyatt Hotel is perhaps the best in Manila. Service is attentive and helpful. Facilities are well polished and squeaky clean. The pool though is smaller compared to other 5 star hotels in the city. Buffet breakfast has great selections.

I booked a Junior suite for our family's New Year's eve stay and upon check-in was upgraded to a Marriott Suite, twice the size of what I booked and paid for! It was 180sqm of luxury for a very reasonable price considering we were able to accommodate several more extended family members for Media Noche (Philippines' New Year's eve meal/feast). Adjacent malls and the ...

We booked several apartments with Avant Apartments At The Fort By Jazz for our Christmas staff reward and were very impressed with each of them. We had a wonderful stay at Raffles Makati. I have stayed here a few times and no disappointment yet. The location is superb, centrally in Makati, next to all the shopping malls. The 1st and only 6-star hotel to date in the Philippines, so I decided to try it out. When I got there, I searched around for the check-in area/concierge with no luck, until a guard pointed me to a small table by the staircase where 3 people were standing. I asked them where the check-in area was--turns out, that was the concierge. I asked them if they got my reservati...

We have been staying at Acacia Hotel in Alabang whenever we feel like escaping the traffic in Metro Manila. Quality Service remains consistent thanks to highly trained Front Desk staff who make Check-in and checkout a breeze, housekeeping staff who keep our rooms spic n span, to the helpful concierge and shuttle drivers. Location of Acacia is probably the best in Alab...

CONDOTEL that we stayed in are easy access to shops, bars and restaurant. You can catch a taxi, grab or uber very easy in front of condotel. I can recommend taxi is cheaper than grab or uber. The place is spotless clean, very comfortable bed. It has an amazing view of the magnificent Manila Bay. This unit is close to everything. I will definitely book again. The lobby is huge. The unit has high-end design and feels luxurious. Definitely worth the price.

This spacious condo is right in the center of Manila is ideal to explore Downtown Manila. The room is spacious and comfortable as is the bed and the bathroom. I believe the building is mainly used by students of the next door university, which is not a real problem. Moreover there is a little Mall inside the building which is ideal for minor shoppings and breakfast.
