Where to stay in Meknès-Tafilalet
Meknès-Tafilalet hotels & accommodations

The only concern I have is: During my reservation, I explicitly mentioned that I require 2 single beds. Upon checking in, we see a queen size bed. We asked the guest relations gentleman that this is not what we requested for and we need this changed. He asked us to wait for a few minutes and will make the change. We then went to sit by the pool and about 45 mins late...

The hotel is a long walk from the train station but its straight walk down the main street. Theres many simple and fast restaurants nearby but theyre not cheap. You can walk up the hill into the old medina and find cheap and authentic food. Its possible to walk and see all the sights on foot. The hotel is quiet and clean if you need a break from the riads. Theres ...

I just returned back from my trip to Merzouga, where I stayed at Sirocco Luxury Camp. The communication with Youssef was impeccable. He answered all my questions promptly and stayed in communication with me. We had no issues meeting at the meet up spot. They were there to welcome us and take us to camp. We took an amazing camel ride in and caught the sunset, before arr...

This luxury camp was so amazing! The tents were roomy and came with lots of blankets to keep you warm in the cold desert nights. Included in your stay is dinner, breakfast, and traditional Berber music by the campfire. The food was great! The music was awesome! The staff were so warm and welcoming! Loved every minute!

Chez Youssef is my highlight in my 13-day morocco trip. Host Youssef is a super nice man and he picked us at night when the bus arrived, served us hot delicious soup which made us feel very welcoming! The room we had got everything we need. The house has lovely decorations and make you feel absolutely like home. Breakfast is very nice and tasty. The desert trip Youssef...

This hotel/guest house is the perfect choice for Midelt. It is well run by an owner that obviously has a passion for serving her guests and I really can't say anything bad about it, from the fantastic dinner we enjoyed to the comfy beds and great view, this place is perfect. Would also recommend spending slightly more to stay in a suite, was great to have that little ...

Room very nice large and in Moroccan style, good bedding and bathroom, rooms bit cold though as are the hallways. Breakfast fair to good, wifi only near reception area which is also cold, need to put in wifi on terrace which could be done easily. Swimming pool no water. Friendly Sengalese receptionist, she's very caring and nice. Good location.

After traveling Morocco for a month this place was such a blessing. I was able to get comfortable and stretch out. As a tourist staying in budget accommodations for quick stops Swani was worth paying a little extra and definitely should be rated higher. Staff was excellent. Breakfast on the rooftop restaurant was superb.

we arrived at this hotel and were upgraded to a bigger room thanks to the extremely pleasant duty manager. although the rooms are generally a bit dated but it was clean and very comfortable. breakfast was ok. dinner was at a cafe outside which was cheap and good. the hotel seems very empty though. they were also very nice to let us leave our bags with them while we wen...

We really enjoyed our stay at the golden camp. We met our host at the merzouga cafe, it was very easy to find. From there we paid 25 Euros each to take a camel to our camp, this was a 2-hour ride and so much fun. The room was gorgeous, spacious and the water was very hot in the shower. The rooms have no air conditioning. Dinner was amazing and they catered to my vegeta...

My sister and I chose Nomad Bivouac because of the really good reviews and we were not disappointed. Hassan was the most amazing host ever and welcomed us as if we were family. We arrived really early at 6am and he had someone drive to pick us up and bring us to his house where he has a little guest house area and allowed us to rest there after our long bus journey. Wh...

I had been backpacking though Morocco with a friend and this was comparatively the most luxurious place that I stayed (the first place in my multi-week trip with AC). The staff was great. I didn't get the man's name, but at the front desk, he was very friendly and spoke good English. My friend got food poisoning just as we were about to leave and Fatima was very nurtur...

Riad Malak is an elegant hotel with a great view from the rooftop. The man running the place is so kind and helpful. The breakfast you get in the morning is very tasty too and you can have extra servings if you like. The bed was very comfy and the wifi was decent too. We would definitely stay again!

Yes, they really have a door into the desert and it's next to the pool. Once it is open you look straight into Sand and half way to your right is one of the largest sand dunes of the Erg Chebi desert. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and it was great. All staff really friendly and always up for a chat. They organised for us a 4x4 tour through desert and the flamingo ...

My best stay while I was in Morocco for sure. Mohammed was very nice, he pick me up at the bus station and took me to the hotel by his bike. The room was clean and had enough facility. The toilet was also fine. Mohamed makes me feel comfortable and very helpful

Despite the fact I had a paid reservation, staff demanded more than double to be added to the original charge. I cancelled the reservation and left the hotel. While i was there, I also noticed the staff member was arguing with other guests for What it appears the same related issue.

Very comfortable, helpful and friendly staff, great terrace on the roof where you can eat, peaceful surroundings, yet, 5 min walk from Mausoleum, Bab el-Mansour and Place el-Hedim. Could not get a better location! reachable by car. Will definitely go back!

Hassan, the manager impressively picked us up in the crowd at the bus station after 6 hours’ delay of our bus, then jumped back into his kitchen to continue cooking! He was good in English, friendly and interesting, and also an ethnic musician as well as Uncle Mohamad. The hotel located perfectly in the middle of bus terminals, markets and banks. The roof terrace where...

We absolutely adored staying here and added extra time...as did other travelers. The hosts are lovely and helpful. The place is kept spotless and the breakfasts were amazing. We have traveled extensively over the last 30+ years to ALL kinds of countries and have experienced ALL kinds of accommodations. This is a wonderful, restful place with fresh air, neighbourhoo...

The house is build in a authentic barber styl with really lovely rooms. The rooms have everything you need and the bed was confortable. The breakfast was traditional and really tasty. The Camels House also organise trips to the Sahara and offer a stay overnight in the desert in one of the camps. We took the standard camp and we can highly recommended it. It was a great...

The hotel is okay overall. We ended up staying 3nights than the planned 2nights. My friend had diarrhoea from the olives (suspected cause) that was served at Hotel Les Cedres when we had dinner. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful to us when they knew about the illness, they had prepared us some tea and made sure we are okay. The beds are comfortable, an...

Camel riding, star observing, watching sunset & sunrise from desert dunes, camping in tent... those made the reason to visit Sahara, and Ali & his team helped to give us a wonderful experience. Though it’s not luxury resort, Ali still makes the place clean and comfortable. Delicious dinner & breakfast. Would love to recommend to peoples visiting merzouga.

I can’t say enough how amazing this place was. Mohammed and I exchanged probably a dozen emails. It was all me initiating looking for answers. When we got here, he treated us like family till the second we left. He gave you that sense of safety and security you don’t really get anywhere else. I will definitely be back and this will be the only place I stay. So I...

+ Female manager do no speak English, but she was helpful. + Wireless Internet at the reception and common relaxation/cuisine space. + Traditional interiors and furniture + Nice and orthodox breakfast + Nice view from a rooftop balcony - Nicely located, but a bit difficult to find (signboards nearby)

i have already stayed in some other riads prior to arriving to meknes but none was so luxurious and none felt so warm and homely like riad la maison d'a cote. right in the center of medina but extremely quiet so i had no problem sleeping until late and relaxing. room was huge, bed comfortable, bathroom was one of the biggest i've ever seen on my travels. staff was very...

It was a long walk from the main road outside the Madina through the narrow and winding alleys. We were backpackers so we managed but it would have been entirely different had we brought heavy suitcases. There was a welcome drink upon our arrival, and it took sometime to prepare our room. Anyhow, we were satisfied with what we got. Breakfast was served free of charg...

We stopped in the area on our way from Fez to Merzounga. This location is great to spend a night before heading into the desert. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and came with all necessary amenities. The two best parts of this hotel, though, are the view and the staff. The view from all the balconies was unreal! Literally amazing! The staff were so warm and we...

We were two couples who stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful riad. It has been renovated fairly recently with great taste, while keeping intact the authenticity of the house. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is perfect. It is very close to the main plaza and yet very quiet. Excellent value and highly recommended.

We loved our stay here. It has clean, comfortable rooms that are nicely decorated, and an absolutely beautiful courtyard. The dinner was good and very reasonably priced. The staff are all excellent and friendly, and the two Adminas will cheerfully help you with any problems. It is in a great location. Highly recommended!
