Where to stay in Ha Noi
Ha Noi hotels & accommodations

This is an excellent Hotel. The service was faultless the staff were extremely courteous and attentive at all times, anything we needed they quickly arranged or delivered. The staff made our stay wonderful, we have stayed in a lot of so called 5 star hotels but none of the others can match the service we received at Hotel Lotte in Ha Noi. I would highly recommend thi...

Far exceeding my expectation! I stayed 5 days in a clean and convenient room. There is a lovely open space all the way to the glass roof that allows sun lights to fill the hallways. I was greeted at the marticulous lobby filled with comfortable tables and chairs that accommodate many relaxed guests and business groups alike. The swimming pool on rooftop is just as roma...

I like the overall business-like environment of the hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Food quality is fine. It is sometimes nice to be able to order Singapore/Malaysian dishes in Ha Noi - the taste is quite right. I am not much into Casinos, so I shall not be able to offer much insight into that area. But for those who like casinos, it is intensely conven...

we stayed at hotel nikko hanoi for 3 nights. it was a wonderful stay. front counter staffs were friendly and smily. there was a conceige counter manned by experienced japanese staff who speak fluent english, to give advise on what to do, where to eat and what to avoid (independent cabby)in hanoi. we have a spacious room at the 10th floor, facing a circus and lake from ...

the hotel facility is very good.every staff there very friendly during my stay.I do not like much breakfast in melia hotel. They do not have much choice .However,I still like this hotel as the loaction is in the center near by many shopping. Its is the most I like because I very much like shopping.Next to melia hotel also have a market so it is convinience for me to buy ...

The staff at this hotel are amazing, friendly, professional and helpful. They really made our stay a hassle free comfortable experience. Hotel is in a convenient location and great value for money. Would be happy to stay again and recommend to people. I heard about this hotel via a friend who lives in Ha Noi even the locals must think highly of it! My family had...

I really enjoyed to stay in the lapis hotel. the service of this hotel impressed me. It was all rainy except the last day of my trip. Because of that I couldn't go to Ha long bay but on the final day. The flight was late at night so it wasn't a problem going there. However, once I went out for trip then of course I needed to take a shower.(don't want to be stinky pas...

we chose to stay here as it was the end of our trip and wanted some down time. we ended up with a very large fully self-contained apartment with 2 bedrooms and 4 air cons. staff were very pleasant, food ok (but nothing on what is available elsewhere in ha noi) and prices in line with expectations. location was great as it was easy to walk to popular districts.

the staff were very friendly and tried valiantly to get the wi-fi to work above the second floor. in never did until i returned from halong bay. the breakfast had little or no western food with the exception of toast and cold cereal. even the omelette chef left it runny and somewhat unfamiliar. on the other hand, if you like soups, steamed vegetables and seafood there ...

The staff really try their best to make you feel welcomed and comfortable! No task was to small or difficult for them to try and assist with. We stayed for two weeks which I think is longer then most passing through the hotel and the staff made us feel like we had lived there forever remembering our names and what we liked asking about trips we had done and what we got...

I purposely booked 2 double-bed apartments (supposedly with 1 bedroom only each). However the Hotel ran out and we we upgraded to 2 three bedroom apartments for free. Staff were nice and helpful (even though the waiting time for room was about 20 minutes). Rooms are spacious, convenient with lots of stuff norm to service apartment. We arrived really late and tired so...

I totally in love with my stay at Quoc Hoa hotel. From here, we were only steps away from the famous Pho on 45 Bat Dan, 20 steps away from the famous (and to my taste, the best of the best, representing the essence of Hanoi culinary) Ba Thin dessert and to many more amazing shops & eateries. On top of that, the staffs were super supportive and helpful. The room ameniti...

We booked 3 rooms and stayed there for 2 nights. It's located at the heart of old quarter and within walking distance to night market (5 mins), hoan kiem lake (10mins) and lots of street food/restaurants nearby. The staff are very helpful and always greet with a smile. Even though we couldn't get one of the balcony rooms that we booked, the manager was accommodating ...

The Intercontinental is a real hideaway because most of the Taxi drivers did not know where it was. We thought it must be new! Having got there without too much fuss, you could feel the taxi driver feeling somewhat surprised and a little ditzy for not knowing. Staff were great, a bit robotic in delivery, I'm sure they'll naturalise as time goes on. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The location is ideal with easy access to everything. Bonus points for not being charged to keep my motorbike downstairs under the hotel :) As a new hotel (Oct 2014) everything was up to date, though being Vietnam the attention to deta...

I am pleased to say that this return stay to Hanoi Hotel after 2 years has not let me down. Services and staff performance has improved tremendously. Very customer oriented staffs that will go all out to serve and help. The only thing that remained unchanged, unfortunately, is the ageing old rooms that have been there for almost 20 plus years. I think with all the rev...

I visited Hanoi with my parents and siblings and we have stayed at 4 different hotels as we need to travel far. This hotel is beyond my expectations and is the best among all hotels I have stayed. The welcoming drinks and snacks is an eye opening to me. During check in, they provided us maps and explained to us how, when and precautions which is a ‘WOW’ in our hearts. ...

The newest Somerset in Hanoi and it didn’t fail to impress! Furnishings and kitchen were modern and functional. I loved the cosy living room where we gathered each morning for coffee and at the end of the day for drinks. Bed was comfy and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. Staff all excellent, from Reception to Housekeeping. Always happy to help out with calling...

This hotel is right on the water of the West Lake. The patio and pool area are away from the street, facing the lake, so it is quiet and peaceful with a nice view and outdoor area--a welcome oasis away from busy Hanoi. The room was clean and very nice for a reasonable price. The lakefront area around it has nice cafes and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful an...

This hotel has some great features but the best is the location - if you want to be in the thick of the old quarter. Street converts to walking street at night. Very close to the night market. Other features include interconnecting family room (we have three older children) with spacious bathroom (incl. bath). Rooftop sundeck is pleasant for relaxing with a drink. Pool...

calidas is placed on the top of the highst building in hanoi. you can enjoy the beautiful cityview in your room. every room has their kitchen and laundary machine incl. dry machine. it might be goog for businessmen for long time business trip. the building was built in 2011, so every facility is new and free from insects. the restorant on 47 opens only for breakfa...

Fantastic hotel in great area . Staff were very helpful and sincere. Rooms were large, comfortable, clean and well maintained.Try the buffet breakfast in the ground floor restaurant , the food is fresh, tasty and they have a great selection, even for vegetarians .Overall we stayed 03 nights in the Hanoian and it was one of the best hotels in Ha Noi
Cheap places to stay in Ha Noi

I was so lucky to have found Little Charm Hanoi Hostel. I almost booked a different hostel, until I stumbled upon this on Agoda! It's one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my 7 months of continuous traveling. The first hostel where beds are made for you daily and towels can be changed daily if you wish. Lots of toilets and shower rooms on every floor so you won't h...

The hostel has just renovated , I stayed few days there, they are so friendly also lovely people. They have everytime a smile for you. They help you if you have any questions or do you want to book a trip . From the hotel you can walk to the place you want to see. When I come back to ha noi I will take the same hotel

This location of this hostel is strategic, near from Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Paulus and the only one mosque in Hanoi. It was very help me, because you can still keep your praying and you can find Halalan food near this mosque.. The staff is awesome and humble. They helped me to booked the Taxi from hostel to Airport...

The room was very comfortable, I enjoyed my stay in here. It is centrally located and easy to get around to all the places (near by to St. Joseph's Cathedral, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants). If your room is included with the breakfast, you will satisfy with the excellent breakfast that the hotel has been provided in the rooftop. The variety and quality of food w...

We had great stay for several days at Luxury Backpackers hostel in Ha Noi. It has really clean bath room and blanket. I think hostel manager and s taffs are very kind . They were friendly and thoughtful. They arranged our traveling . I think they had helped to me a lot. So I would highly recommend there. I miss ..

Note that this hostel no longer actually exists and it is now Cheetah hostel (though the gecko restaurant sign is also still there). They couldn’t initially find my booking and that may be related to this perhaps. The dorm room itself was spacious enough and the bed comfortable, however there is no secure area at all, so take your stuff with you. There was always...

We enjoyed our stay at the Art Trendy Hotel, we had a clean modern room with everything we needed. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to organise everything, they were extra friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we even had take away made for us on our last morning because we were leaving so early. We cannot say enough!!! We found the old quarte...

NEW, CHEAP...Definitely the best hostel we have ever been to. Very cool atmosphere, really friendly staff. The location is very good - in the old quarter near everything. The beds are very comfy and they change the sheets everyday which is so nice. The bar area downstairs has great deals ( Free Breakfast, Free beer, Free pool table + foosball !) and it was very easy to...

Hotel location in the heart of Ha noi Old Quarter , So can walking around the old town and walk to Hoan Kiem Lake very close, and also very close to Dong Xuan Market and Ho Tay. The hotel has great space , breakfast you can choose chicken noodle, fried rice, or butter egg bread, pancake , coffee, tea,,,with enthusiastic and hardworking staff of Nam ‘s staff and oth...

I'd stayed 2 nights (at standard double) and 1 night (at family). Very kind staff and good hospitality. I like them and well satisfied. However, the space between toilet and wall (of standard double) is too small. Even though my height is less than 180cm, I could succeed "the nature's call" VERY HARD. Remember, anyone who is taller than me, dont book std room. A...

I was in Hanoi for two nights and found my stay at the Hanoi Rendevous Hostel to be really comfortable and relaxing in a busy, chaotic city. You get a towel when you check in and coupons for breakfast. The staff was great. They helped me book a trip to Halong Bay and offered to keep my luggage for me while I was away. They also helped me book a train ticket to Hue. ...

This hostel is very good. I had a private bad and it was very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and useful which could give you some resonable advice. However, this hostel is located near the bridge which the train cross by so you may hear the noise for some seconds but it is no problem with me. I will keep supporting this hostel when I come back to Ha Noi next time...

This hostel has so much love, Daisy & her brother are so welcoming, helpful and kind. She is truly interested in you and where you have been, offers great recommendations and advice. I booked my open bus with her and feel comfortable & confident that she will help me to the fullest booking the stops for the next month. Breakfast was delicious, best pancake I've had...

Location is central in Hanoi Old Quarter, easy access to tourist attractions e.g. Hoam Kiem Lake, St. Joseph's cathedral, Hanoi Opera House, etc. The entrance of the hostel itself is a bar where you get to enjoy good drinks and food in the evening. But due to the crowd it gets noisy at night even after 12am. Overall I would recommend this place for backpackers consider...

Stayed here for 2 nights when we first arrived in Hanoi. Booked a tour through hotel staff to halong bay. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we decided to come back for 4 more nights after our halong bay tour. The staff here is exceptional. They are nice and friendly. Always smile, and give good advice. The room is adequate. Beds are comfortable, bathroom large, clea...

-The hotel was clean and the room we got was spacious. Best of all, everything was very reasonably priced. We booked our Halong Bay Cruise and airport transfers with them and we saved a lot than by booking it ourselves. Recommend you book your tours and transfers with them! - The staff of the hotel were very friendly although some of them couldn't speak English wel...

The beds are comfortable with a lovely big duvet and privacy curtain. Bathrooms are clean with hot water and good pressure. Location is great, only a 7 minute walk from Ho Kien Lake and Trang, a staff member, is fantastic and made me feel so welcome. She gave me loads of information on Vietnamese food to try, where to go and even helped me plan my onward journey.

Pros: big room, comfortable bed, has elevator, washing machine, and a map incase you do not have internet access on your phone outside, then their customized tour guide map can save you. They also have students who come on Sunday to meet foreigners and can cook for you, they cook really great, and the students were all friendly and nice. It was like a big family and f...

We had multiple hostel booking in our Vietnam trip. We liked everything about this hostel except that they didn't have a locked locker in the rooms. If you are not carrying a lock and key yourself, then your things are actually not safe there. But apart from that, the staffs, the breakfast, the beer party in the evening everything was super cool.

It has comfortable beds and queit atmosphere. Good place to take a rest. Staffs are kind. They also have some tour programs so you can book a tour, or transportation at reasonable price just from the hostel. It is located at central area : 5min to Hoan kiem lake, 1min to beer street. Also you can find a great rice noodle restaurant right across the hostel.

Stayed very briefly in this hostel (checked in 10.30pm and checked out 5.50am the next morning), hence my review is just my personal opinion during my stay here and may not be representative to what this hostel can offer. Very good location to catch the Express bus 86 to the airport (the bus stop is just down the road in south direction to 23 Hang Tre). Very good v...

Sometimes you get great room but noone to connect, sometimes you meet great people but the room is horrible. Well this is the place has comfy beds and friendly people. Super nice staff, hearty meal, clean room and meet wonderful fellow backpackers. One of my favorites in Vietnam.

Warmly welcome, helpful staff, clean room and great location. After bad trip from airport to Hotel, I took the taxi to hotel by myself from the Hanoi airport, so bad driver he charged me over price and he wanted to put me at another hotel, I said "NO, take me to Green Street Hotel". on the way to hotel, I hoped that hotel was better, it was perfect with smiling and hel...

I booked a double bed as a single person. The bed is about a queen size. The rooms are very spacious (I walked around and checked out other comporable hotels and their rooms, and found that they were VERY small, barely big enough to walk around the bed). The rooms here have beautiful engraved wood furniture and are spacious. The customer service is great. Nancy ca...

During a five-day stay at Hotel Brilliant, everything at this hotel is perfect. Like most smaller hotels in Hanoi, especially around the old town, Hotel Brilliant strives to provide the best service. In our opinion, Hotel Brilliant has succeeded in doing so. The location of the hotel is very close to the hustle center of Hoan Kiem lake. The hotel rooms are fully equipp...

When you look for a good place to stay in the Old City of Ha Noi, you can go there: charming and clean rooms with a rich equipment , a very helpful, friendly and competent staff at the reception with excellent travel tips and good bookings - a wonderful breakfast buffet - and a location in the middle of the vibrant Old City, only some steps back home after a funny even...

This is a brand new hotel. It has a nice fresh decor, which made us feel at home. Staff was nice, though pretty hard to understand at times. We did really like this one, and even came back to it twice, but It does have some downsides so I’ll try giving a neutral review. Rooms are pretty small but very modern and have a good vibe to them. The bed is incredibly comfortab...

The Ha Noi Pearl hotel was a fantastic experience from the very first impression to the last. All staff from the first person on the front door through to the front desk staff, restaurant breakfast staff and the persons who cleaned our rooms were amazing. Breakfasts were amazing, great variety to temp any palet. I would recommend this hotel every time if travelling ...

Agoda give information of the price ! We booked family room which stated in Agoda good for 4 adults with 1 double bed & 1 single bed . However we will told by receptionist we have requested for extra bed since we are 4 peoples in a room and there is an extra charge for the extra bed like SGD $30 per night . So Agoda please provide correct information! The hotel staffs ...

We booked this hotel from the Airport - and were so glad we did!. This small hotel is Excellent! It opened in April 2018 - and everything works in the room, the bathroom is a treat with the latest shower and ablution technology, the breakfast is delicious, all the staff are attentive and helpful. And it is located just on the edge of the Old Centre of Hanoi - so not qu...

The hotel is in a good location, close to the lake. The walk to the old quarter is about 10mins where the nightlife is busy with bars, clubs, and restaurants. On checkin they gave me a room with no window and 2 twin beds, which was not what I had booked. Reception changed my room when I asked them to. Room was clean and a good standard. The hotel has a sky bar, which w...

After a slew of bad hotels, my sister and I were so relieved to finally get to a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated in the old quarter of Hanoi. It's not the cheapest, but it's still a good value for your money. We got to the hotel a bit early before our check in, but the lobby held our luggage while we walked around the busy neighborhood. The twin room we had was cle...

This hotel has recently re opened and has been renovated. The standard is very high and extreamly clean. We were very impressed with the reception staff, they spoke very good English and were extreanly polite and helpful. Hotel is little nosy due to the road and construction works however we have found that every hotel we have stayed in during our stay in Vietnam is...

We really appreciated for your whole survice. Door has little problem but that was not that matter to us. We loves your towel arts and it made us feel like ‘they care about every details’. We will choose your hotel again if we re-visit Ha Noi so happily.

Hai Bay has just opened so the facilities and quality of the hotel are great. Rated as a 3 star hotel but I have definitely felt that the service provided was 5 star. Staff was always so friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is ideal as well. It is within walking distance of all the popular and touristic places so it was very convenient for us, especially w...

The hotel has a very good location in the centre of Ha Noi. The hotel was very new and everything within the hotel and our room was very satisfying. It's not a lot of facilities, they have a restaurant in the basement. The breakfast was a bit disapointed. They had options to buy With and without and it cost quite alot more for the breakfast. The restaurant looked very ...

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, where the staff always knows you and offers great service. The hotel has strict smoking policy, which is wonderful for us as non smokers. Our room is great and spacious, with a wonderful balcony. Must stay in the junior room if you have a chance to stay at this hotel. The breakfast was served with many choices of all excellent food. ...

Good variety of food at breakfast and convenient location. Close to many famous eateries, good sound proofing system in the building. Had a great sleep! The staffs are friendly, especially the receptionist, Rosie, and a bellman (not sure his name, but even though his English speaking skill is limited, he tries his best to communicate with me and my friend, and brief us...

We only stay for 1 night before head home, we booked studio room got upgrade to the best room of hotel room 804. 200% worth the money! Top quality decor, I found that when I use their lobby public toilet I already know this hotel build with good quality material! I know their servic...

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. Bathrooms all had electronic toilets and the rooms all provided bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was outstanding. An incredible variety of fresh food was available that catered for both western ad eastern travelers. Some food was made fresh by the chef such as eggs or Pho. The staff was helpful, polite and c...

We are a Vietnamese American couple who visited Ha Noi for the first time. We grew to love Ha Noi and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit. The location is very good, close to the great restaurants in the Old Quarters. I booked this one as my usual hotel was booked out. I am glad that I had the chance to stay at this surprisingly nice hotel tucked away around the corner from two other famous hotels. The facilities are clean and modern. My room was very large and the best thing was the coffee machine! Recommeneded if this location suits your needs.

If you don't want a cheap and basic place, but also don't want an over priced high end establishment where a beer cost 20 times the street price, then Tirant I think is the perfect middle ground. Staff are excellent, in fact if there was another word to say better than that I'd use it - they really do have customer service. Hana, Chester, Joy, Jake are just some of the...

I stayed 3 lovely days in Intercontinental Hanoi Land Mark 72 with my wife. Bellboy welcomed (caught) us at the front door and guided us to 72Floor (I saw my name in his hand note). Moevenpick is always in my first list of hotel I will choose when I visit Ha Noi. Stayed here for one night before returning to our regular Ha Noi hotel, just for a change. Hotel is well located near Hoan Kiem Lake and tourist area. TV system is still th...

Somerset is always my favorite brand. Although it is not located near the downtown of Hanoi (The old quarters), since my office is nearby so I like to stay in this hotel. You have 2 choices for breakfast, the Japanese restaurant at 2nd floor, or the Highland coffee next door, which cater BF for Somerset. For coffee lover, this can be a good choice, anyways, you need to...

We travelled as a family so it has enough space for everyone. Everythings works well. Clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It has all basic things that you need like in the hotel. We feel like we are in our own home. Definately come back next time. Best value for what you pay

The location of this hotel is next to West Lake. This is a quiet and peaceful place in center of Hanoi. This hotel is quite far from Noi Bai International airport. (1 hour and 19$ full price for taxi to get there) In my opinion if you are seeking a place with beautiful nature for relaxing - Sheraton is not the place for you because it located in the center of a crowded...

With 65-Floor-Hotel, You can experience supurb viewpoint of Hanoi. Enjoy the aroma of west lake while taking a bath in your room. It will be one of the best moment ever in your life. Also, service was perfect and Evian Spa, Top of Hanoi was EXCEPTIONAL. If you are heading to Hanoi, I strongly recommend this spot for unique, luxurious experience. But keep in mind. Th...
