Very well relax in the Hotel, and a nice garden ”
Staying in Rega was unexpectedly of higher value than the rates pay for. The place and the surrounding are well kept clean and green. I have a great time just been solo sitting in the garden having coffees and surfing the internet without disturbances. It doesn't feel like a hotel but more like a home with everyone yet having quiet time for yourself. Its proximity to the jetty point is only a 20 mins slow walk, and another 30 mins by boat to Rabbit Island for the beach side. I have enjoy my stay in Kep with the Rega Hotel as the base. Thanks Rega for the hospitality.

Nice guesthouse, nice stuff”
The guesthouse was located near the ferry to rabbit island, which is the main attraction in Kep. As Kep has no real city center, the location of the guesthouse can not be titled as bad. The staff is very friendly, they help you whenever needed. the breakfast is ok (baguette with jam, or eggs, so nothing special). I ate dinner there twice, it was also only ok. The rooms were clean, a little bit small, but good value for the money. They also provided a moscito net. The garden is very beautiful and it invites you to relax and chill out. There are many french tourists in the guesthouse (I think this is because the owner are french) and I, as a non-french solo-traveller, had problems to meet people for a little chat as the french (not the owner!!) literally ignored me. But this was only my experience, and exept of that, my stay in the Rega Guesthouse was more then ok.

Great staff kind and helpful”
I spent three nights at Rega Guetsthouse. The owners are a young french couple so friendly and helpful. They have plenty of advices about what to visit, have some motorbikes to rent. There room was nice, the hotel has a small nice garden where you can spend time for chilling, having lunch or drinking some cocktails. Probably the best guesthouse I've been in Cambodia.

Relaxing”
This hotel is situated right in the center of the semi-abandoned former resort town of Kep which makes it quiet and relaxing and a short walk to the pier for sunsets. The food was delicious with some French fare from the French owners. The staff was friendly and allowed me to use a bike for free - also very knowledgeable about the area. The wifi was reliable but a bit slow. The room was clean and well decorated.

A nice lttle hotel ”
When arriving at the Rega off a dirt road with not much around, you start wondering whether you have made the right decision. Once inside the grounds, we found that they have turned it into a little oasis with beautiful gardens a theme through the centre of the hotel. We didn’t eat here but many others did and the food looked good. We were only there for one night and went out for the pepper crab. The room was old but was fine for our one night stay. The only negative was that the air con was a little old and took hours to cool down our small room. Once it did the room was always at comfortable temp. And for the price of $15.00 for the night, how can you seriously complain.

Quiet place, peaceful setting”
this is our second time staying at rega and we love it. the simple and spotless rooms are situated around a lovely garden creating a very tranquil environment to relax in. the staff are very friendly and helpful. meals served in the restaurant are delicious. when the a/c wasn't functioning, we received a discount off our bill. we would definitely come again.

Good, pretty boutique hotel”
We stayed in a double room with fan. Hot water, mosquito net, comfortable bed. As with most places in Kep, cash only. Advances made at another hotel in town. The restaurant does fair food but is a little far from the limited action Kep has to offer at this time, so add the tuk tuk fare in on your meal bill and you're paying about the same as getting dinner in the main square. Above all, friendly and clean. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend it. Also a good spot to start out on the Jungle trail.

A cute guesthouse with suspect quality control”
The Rega Hotel is the same property as the Rega Guesthouse, in case this confuses anyone. The good: -the property itself is cute and thoughtfully decorated -the owner/manager seems genuinely friendly and eager to please -the fan room is simple but tasteful, and the fan is mounted above the bed to keep mosquitoes away, so no problems there. Pretty much as expected for $10/room/night The bad: -the sheet on our bed was pretty obviously stained, as were the very worn towels -the sheet was also damp, though this is likely not the fault of Rega Guesthouse (this is apparently a common symptom of the rainy season when periods of high humidity are followed by very high temperatures) -when we checked out, we had a miscommunication with the staff member who at first refused to believe that we had prepaid through Agoda -the location isn't optimal due to the rather stretched layout of Kep. Although Rega Guesthouse is only a few blocks away from the jetty to Koh Tonsay, most boat tickets you can buy will include a free hotel pickup which negates the need to be close to the jetty. Everywhere else in the Kep area is a couple of kilometers away, like the beach, crab market, and the main strip of shops and restaurants. None of these were a huge deal, but the lack of quality control for basic cleanliness and upkeep of the linens is a bit offputting. They did appear washed, just permanently stained, but new sheets and towels are one of the most standard of recurring expenses in the hospitality business so ensuring that the inventory rotating through the rooms is in good shape goes a long way toward promoting guest satisfaction. This is definitely a place that caters to backpackers so our expectations were obviously lower, but the place we stayed at next was significantly higher quality for only $2 more per night. Because of these reasons, I unfortunately cannot recommend Rega Guesthouse at this time and would not go back again.

An oasis and a super little place to stay”
I only stayed over for 2 nights as a break from missionary work in Phnom Penh but i had a very quiet and relaxing experience and a big change from the city. I took walk after arriving down past the blue crab and sat and watched the sun go down. Just a short distance away is the jetty from which the boat trips run out of and a large air con shop where i also booked a day trip over to Rabbit island. This I feel is a must for visitors to kep as the 'beach' there is limited to a few feet of sand. But the island was fantastic. I firstly set off and walked around the island which took me a couple of hours then settled down finished a book had a swim in the warm sea and to top it all I had a great coconut oil massage on the sea front all for $7! A great weekend!!

good location to visit rabbit island”
small hotel with rooms around a well kept garden courtyard, breakfast and food OK but most of all it is the warm welcome by the managers, a young french couple, who make you feel at home from the first moment the rooms are a bit small and a little dark, the bed is great, huge mosquito net provided, and good working quiet airco if you need io knaow anything about your stay in Kep the owners are always ready to provide you with all the information you could need, they can organize bicycles, cooters, motorbikes, boattickets to Koh Tonsay (rabbit island) at honest pricing

nice and calm hotel”
Nice looking hotel, one floor based rooms and great green patio - many flowers and trees inside. The hotel staff very kind and cheersfull. The hotel is located in calm place, not in the cente, it is near to the place from where the boats to the Rabis Island start the trips. You can go to any place in Kep by tuktuk for ariund one dollar.

Cozy place”
We love that Rega Guesthouse is near the Ferry Terminal where you can book tour tickets and take the ferry to Rabbit Island. It's also near the Kep market and village where one can mingle with the locals of the place. Our room may be on the small side, but it's adequate since we're not in it most of the time. We like the gardens where we can chill out or have a meal or laze around. When our room had a plumbing problem, the staff assigned us a new room without any fuss. It may not be near the Crab Market, but for US$2, a tuk tuk can get you there in 10 minutes. Great little guesthouse!

Delightful guesthouse, ”
Rega location (convenient to reach Rabbit Island) is neither bad nor good, as Kep has no real city center and is widely spread. To go around you'll need a vehicle, no matter where you stay. Rega rooms are set around a gorgeous, well maintained garden, where meals are served. The setting is lovely. The unpleasant side is that people chatting at night are likely to disturb your sleep, if light...The rooms are pretty basic, the bathroom door doesn't close properly if not forced, the towels (old, stained and thin) were never changed during the 3 days of our stay. These details considered, you wouldn't guess a Western management behind. Or, simply, the relaxed Cambodian attitude is highly contagious. One morning we saw something annoying: a girl from the staff brushing away crumbs from a tablecloth using the very same broom she had just swept the floor with! Also, at Rega we rented the worst (and most expensive) motorbike ever (we are used to riding in Asia). We ended by using it only a couple of hours after paying the whole day, feeling very unsafe. We don't like criticism for the sake of criticism, and we are confident not to be misunderstood. With little effort Rega could be a really lovely place. The owner is a nice and friendly young man, there is a free Dr Fish pond, the food is good though a bit anonymous, and the garden is a masterpiece.

Tranquil base for exploration”
We spent four nights based here to see Rabbit Island, Kampot, Bokor, Kep National Park and found it the perfect place to come back and chill out. Very inexpensive and yes, it isn't as close to the crab market as others but for other things this is no problem. Would definitely go back if we get back to Kep

Gracious Hosts”
I had a lovely time, due largely to the friendliness of Amandine & Tristan (the business owners) and Arthur the main front-of-house bloke. They are all excellent hosts and good conervsationalists who clearly respect and appreciate Kep, Cambodia and its people.

Nice hotel and friendly staff”
A nicely built hotel that's centred around a pretty garden square where you can eat breakfast and dinner. The room was ok - you get what you pay for - it was clean and had all that was needed. The food was very nice - a strong french twist which was nice after eating so much crab!!ONe critism is the location, although there's very little to Kep as a town centre, the hotel is quite a bit down the coast from the Crab Market.
