      Kotor dan bau sekali”

      Pilih hotel ini krn lokasi dekat rumah orang tua. Lokasinya bagus, relatif dekat dengan malioboro, stasiun kereta, keraton Pakualaman, rumah sakit, dan banyak tempat makan juga. Tetapi karena letaknya dekat sekali dengan traffic lights, saat jam macet agak sulit keluar masuk area hotel. Ini pertama kalinya saya stay di Red Doorz dan pertama masuk hotel agak kaget dengan meja resepsionis, dimana disitu duduk beberapa pria dengan pakaian non formal dan kaki diangkat ke meja. Selanjutnya kami diberi kunci kamar 101 dan kesan pertama adalah kamarnya bau sekali. Bukan bau rokok, tetapi bau apek sekali. Kamarnya juga tampak tidak terawat, ada kotak listrik yang terbuka dan bekas-bekas tempelan di tembok. Tempat tidur tampak bersih meskipun spreinya tidak putih bersih. Yang paling parah adalah kamar mandi. Pintunya ada sarang2 rayap dan kotoran kayu pun berjatuhan di lantai. Toiletnya seperti belum disikat berbulan2, banyak lubang di langit-langit. Saya dan suami sudah tinggal di berbagai hotel di banyak negara di Eropa dan Asia, dan kami cukup kecewa memilih hotel ini. Sebetulnya pada hari terakhir waktu tinggal kami di hotel ini kami tengah memperingati anniversary kami, tapi mood jadi hilang untuk perayaan sekecil apapun karena suasana kamar yang tidak mendukung, terutama bau yang sangat mengganggu dan kamar yang kebersihannya tidak terjaga. Untuk kami, tinggal di hotel sederhana tidak masalah, tetapi hotel dengan harga murah tidak berarti kebersihan boleh diabaikan.
