Had an overnight stay, location is accessible to nearby locations, fastfood and restaurant. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. My Room is exceptional - reasonable for it's price. Very clean and had no issue, i enjoyed watching TV. Internet is very good and i like the In room safe which you make feel comfortable leaving your personal belongings. One thing i observed is there's no Mini Refrigerator and Microwave which i find a bit difficult especially if you have a food. Hoping that there is a Water Refilling Station in each floor as i find it not ideal just to have one station which is situated near the reception. But overall, it was a nice experience. Stay for 2 room nights. Parking is spacious that day. Simple elevator. Well mannered staff and security personnel. Check-in processing is easy and won't take me too long, within 3 minutes, FOA handed me the key card. Room is well ventilated, bed is comfy, duvet is perfect to balance the body temperature, comfort room is basic and simple, main door is quite heavy. Channels on TV are complete and not limited even it is not SMART TV yet. Very accessible to fastfood chains and groceries also to main malls like Podium, Megamall, Capitol Commons. Cost per room night is much cheaper than other hotels around the area. Will be back at Red Planet Ortigas.

I have no problem with the staff. They are all friendly, attentive, helpful and accomodating. My low score is due to the facility. As much as possible, I don't like comparing things. However, I can't help but to compare my previous stays into another hotel nearby who has very similar amenities, but theirs are better than Red Planet. Allow me to itemized key concerns. 1) On my booking, I specifically stated "preferred a quiet room". But what we got is has a bit noisy a/c unit (probably needs cleaning) and a constant common street noises. I know I also stated "facing city view", so probably that was a bot contradicting. But being a customer, I was expecting they will give us a room with a good sound proofing. Or at least somebody should told us that it would be impossible to have a quiet room facing the city view so we can lower our expectation. 2) We appreciate the free hot & cold water dispenser on the ground floor lobby. However, I suggest the management to consider deploying free water dispenser for each floor and not just in the first floor. 3) Lack of trash bins. There is only one small trash bin. On other hotel that we've stayed before, there we're 2 to 3 trash bins on a similar room type. 4) Not well maintained comfort room floor tiles. Few pieces of Comfort room tile flooring are a bit loose and shaky and needs some fixing. 5) The customized soap dispenser are very very fragile. When pressed on a certain angle, it snaps from its base panel. It can easily be reattached though, but it was a bit inconvenient as you need to be precise with your angle everytime you press it. Would I recommend it? I personally won't do another booking in the future here and will consider other options. I suggest you look for a better option too with a similar price range. But if you can't find any, that suits your preferences, Red Planet Ortigas will still be your least option.

This hotel is excellent. The room and the beds are very clean. The staff are professional, nice and helpful. The location is central. It's walking distance to the malls-Shangrila Plaza, Megamall, the Podium.Walking distance to St. Francis church and UA&P. There are so manu restaurants around the hotel like Starbucks, Jollibee. The mediterranean restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel is very good and the cost is reasonable. They also serve Filipino dishes which are also very good. The hotel is well worth the stay.

I stayed here as a solo female traveler for 4 nights. I felt very safe, the rooms were clean, and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant to interact with. They ask have security at the front doors so that also felt very safe. There is a restaurant with the hotel/next door. There is a Jollibee around the corner and about a 11 minute walk to the mall which was nice! Definitely recommend staying here. They also had a water refill station which was amazing!!
