I had phoned the proprietor a month before our visit and queried about the meals in the restaurant times etc. I was told that would be sorted on arrival. On arrival no restaurant, no bar and no breakfast. Huge disappointment. Nothing like pics I'd seen on line.Need to jack up info out there.

Lovely little lodge”
Charming hotel, with very helpful staff. The towel and sheets were super clean and the rooms tastefully decorated. The owner even gave my kids a little toy at the end of the stay, they were delighted.

Great Stay, were kind enough to give us extra couple of hours on check out time to catch up on sleep for our long flight afterwards. Smooth self check in procedure on our arrival at 1 am. Recommended!

A 5 minutes de l'aéroport”
L'hotel est très agréable et le personnel très sympathique. Nous avons voyagé pour les affaires. La proximité avec l'aéroport de Manchester était donc primordiale. L'hotel se trouve juste à 5 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport, mais reste situé dans une zone assez calme.

Perfect pre flight accommodation ”
Exceptional value for money! The staff are friendly welcoming and efficient. The room was simple but clean. The hotel is about five minutes from Jet Parks 3, Toad parking etc which are situated straight down the same road. I’ll definitely use this hotel in preference to the big names in the future.

Unconventional hotel with quirky charm!”
This hotel seems to have once been a private house that has been adapted. On first glimpse it doesn’t look much like a hotel -but- it offers kind and considerate guest house hospitality that was common thirty or forty years ago but is very rare to find nowadays! Proprietor and staff are welcoming helpful and polite- nothing is too much trouble. The room I stayed in was on the ground floor as I cannot manage stairs well -and it had it had en suite shower and toilet which were clean and I was given plenty of towels. There was kettle with tea and coffee making facilities,hairdryer supplied, iron and ironing board -and -some yummy biscuits! There is a comfortable lounge and dining room -the breakfast is most excellent- well prepared ,hot and tasty, as well as plentiful. Would thoroughly recommend. I think evening dinner is available also but I wasn’t able to try this as the event I was going to precluded partaking of the evening meal. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and presentable. Perhaps slightly dated on furnishings but that only added to its charm. Room had TV which was a bit tricky to figure out at first -but doable! I would definitely stay here again.

The room was nice at first glance but had a very strong smell of damp which meant I had to open the window to vent the room. I later noticed damp/mould stains around the window sill and frame which was painted over but still very visible. I wanted to speak to someone on check out but it was a self check out arrangement so nobody was available.

The Pymgate Lodge is in ideal location for for Man Airport enough parking nice clean entrance and definitely friendly owners our family room was big enough and clean gd sized bathroom and comfy beds didn't have breakfast would definitely recommend as a stop over 👍👍👍
